by:

As described. Customer service was excellent as always!

by:

It took a while to get to me since several items in the order were back ordered, but someone from etrailer regularly communicated the status. All items arrived in good condition, but I haven’t had time to install.

by:

Nice quality

by:

Was larger gauge than I needed but worked just fine. This 10 gauge wire is blue but my stock wiring was about 14 gauge but since the used a circuit breaker to cross connect it was not a problem.

by:

Works as advertised.

by:

Wire was just what I needed to add the battery charger wiring to the 6 pin receptacle for the TOAD vehicle.

by:

Excellent brake controller. etrailer was prompt in shipping and service outstanding. Would definitely buy from etrailer again.

This brake controller is working great. Would recommend it Easily adjustable for driving conditions

by:

Ordered a pair of Dexter electric brake kits for my trailer. Everything arrived within a few (3) days in good shape. Installed on the trailer, everything works as advertised. I have ordered from etrailer several times over the past few years. Always great service and prices. Customer service and tech assist is especially good with these folks. I would send pictures but the trailer is out working.

by:

Couldn't be happier. Bought a couple of 4 to 7 way adapters, some 10 gauge wire and a couple of 40a breakers. Recommendations from etrailer were thorough and well done.
All installed on both vehicles ... both working just great.

by:

Fast delivery - Ordered on 9/29/17 - Received on 10/4/17
Excellent heavy gauge wire!
NOTE for etrailer managers. I am a technical person by nature and speaking only for myself, when I buy and pay for a specific amount of something, I expect to get that amount. I'm not pinching pennies with you here; BUT, I bought 30' of this wire and when I received it, I measured it twice and came up with 29' 9". Most places I've dealt with in the past where I buy wire, angle iron, etc.. would give you a couple of inches or more than you ordered versus a couple of inches shorter than what was ordered. Very stingy in my opinion and not fair to your customers.

by:

Good price, and just what I needed for carrying the heavier loads needed for charging the trailers on board battery, and running the refrigerator/freezer.

by:

The wiring harness set is flawless and the installation went smooth, even for this less than electrically inclined guy. A couple hours or work and I was on the road towing with confidence

by:

The wire itself seems okay, although the packaging wasn't great. Ordered 75 feet of wire along with a coupler. The wire was coiled in the bottom of the box, with the coupler sitting on top of it in direct contact. I noticed some nicks in the wire insulation as a result of the coupler edges hitting it during shipping.

eTrailer did a great job of shipping quickly! Order packaging needs some serious attention.

by:

ettrailer was extremely helpful with adding brakes to my utility trailer. This wire was just one component in the upgrade. Thank you etrailer. I would definitely recommend them.

by:

Order accurately filled, (I even called back to add some items). The order even came more quickly than I expected. Quality of the parts appears to be excellent!

Thank you!

Michael

Working fine. No problems.

by:

Very happy with the wiring. Works well, easy install. less memory then I expected. Nice having power from my tow vehicle to my trailer.

by:

The wire was perfect for the application (electric trailer brakes). The sales person, William, who helped me, was most helpful.

by:

Ordered several electrical connectors, wire and a wire tester .. all items came in good condition ,looking forward to using the tester as soon as I can I am sure it will do the job.

by:

This served its purpose for installing a trailer battery charge line. It was nice that I could order a specific length from retailer since I didn't need a whole roll.

by:

Nice thick sturdy wire, I used it to run 12v power supply from battery to circuit breaker then to to 7 way plug.

by:

Great service as always!! Fast delivery! Etrailer has it all covered with product and install information, they make it easy!!

by:

It's been a long while since I've ordered anything from etrailer, but, as usual, you folks came through in flying colors. The package was boxed well, shipped on time and the correct products, that's a real plus in today's internet shopping zone.

by:

Product arrived as promised and everything works great. The staff at etrailer I worked with was fantastic. Thanks, Brian

by:

Great cable. Heavy gauge for almost any trailer accessory.

by:

I have not performed my installation yet but this is to compliment you on your order processing and shipping. This is my second order and everything was well packaged and delivered right on time. I recommend your site to people all the time. Thanks!

  • Parts Needed To Add Electric Drum Brakes To A Trailer
To determine the correct brakes for your trailer we'll need to first know the axle capacity. The Dexter Electric Trailer Brake Kit # 23-26-27 you were looking at are designed for 3,500lb axles. From there you'll need a hub/drum assembly, which will require knowing your bearing and grease seal numbers and your wheel's bolt pattern. If you can't read the numbers on your bearings and grease seal then you can measure the spindle at points B, C, and D to get the inner diameter so that we can...

  • Recommended Parts to Rewire an Old Trailer w/ Brakes
Hey Isaac! While we don't have one specific all in one kit we do have every component you will need to update your trailer's lighting and brakes. I recommend using the Trailer Wiring Kit item # ET7WK. This includes a 7-Way connector, a junction box to provide you with a organized and weather proof storage area for all your wiring connections, and all the necessary hardware. You will then just need additional 16 gauge wiring item # 16-4B-1 for the light circuits and 10 gauge wiring item...

  • Troubleshooting A Tekonsha RF Prodigy Brake Controller That Won't Pair To The Remote
If your 7-way only has the 4-pole connector running to it and there isn't a fused line ran from it to the battery then you only have light functions going back to the trailer and nothing sending power for the brake controller to actually function. You need some 10 gauge wire # 10-1-1 and will need to connect it to the pin in the 1 o'clock position when looking at the face of the 7-way connector on the CX-9 (11 o'clock position from the back side). You'll want to use a 40 amp circuit breaker...

  • Parts Needed To Add Electric Brakes Onto a 3,500LB Dexter Axle Without Brakes
The Dexter Electric Trailer Brake Kit # 23-26-27 is the correct kit for your Dexter 3,500lb torsion axle studs. This includes both the left and right hand side brakes for one axle. It does not include a hub. I do recommend looking at the Dexter Nev-R-Adjust Electric Trailer Brake Kit # 23-468-469 instead as the brakes adjust while you drive saving you on having to adjust the breaks as they wear. This also maintains a more constant brake feel with less adjustment required on the vehicle...

  • Can Hydraulic Brakes of Demco Tow Dolly be Converted to Electric Brakes
Since Demco uses 3,500 drum brake assemblies part # DMSB24429M and # DMSB24428M what you'd need is similar 3,500 electric brake assemblies like the etrailer part # AKEBRK-35L-SA for the left hand side and # AKEBRK-35R-SA for the right hand side. To wire these up you'd just need 10 gauge wire like the part # 10-1-1 which we sell by the foot. Then to add a 7-way the easiest way to do that is with the 7-way junction box # e99011.

The 4-way install harness part # C56020 that you referenced is a confirmed fit for your 2005 Ford E-150 van and would be one component needed to install your Curt Echo part # C79DR. You would also need the part # C26DR with 10 gauge wire part # 10-1-1 sold by foot to go from the battery to the adapter and also a 7-way connector like the part # PK11893.

  • Parts Needed to Install Electric Brakes On a Tandem Axle Trailer With 3,500 Torque Axles Salt Water
With your trailer being in an environment where it is exposed to both salt water and fresh water I would highly recommend going with a disc brake setup. There are much fewer components on the brakes to become damaged from the elements with disc brakes. You will need 4 of the DeeMaxx Disc Brake Assemblies # DE89YR with a Hydrastar Electric-Hydraulic Actuator w/ Line Kit # CAR-HBA16-2. You will most likely need a Adapter Module # HBA-CAM for your factory brake controller but be sure to check...

We do! If you don't already have the disconnect switch then you can use the Demco Battery Disconnect Switch # DM63FR which comes with a lead. Otherwise we have leads like the 13" Deka Cable # DW01485 that can be used to bridge the gap between the switch and battery. If you need a bit more length then the smaller 10 Gauge Wire # 10-1-1 will do the trick as well. • Parts Needed to Install Redarc Tow Pro Elite Brake Controller in 2003 R-Vision Condor Motorhome
It definitely is the case that any vehicle can have a brake controller installed in it. They are pretty universal in how they install but some vehicles have pre-wiring which makes it a bit easier to install them. So to install a brake controller like the Redarc Tow Pro Elite part # RED44FR you would need to first have a 4-way harness installed like the # 119190KIT. • Replacement 7" Electric Brakes for a 1989 Wells Cargo Snowmobile Trailer
Thank you for the photo! To replace your 7" electric brakes you need the Kit # AKEBRK-2, and then you need to lock out your surge brake actuator by either using the manual lockout (i it has one) or drilling into the housing and installing some bolts to keep it from moving. Once that's done you need to run 10 Gauge Wire # 10-1-1 from the brakes to your trailer 7-Way to and make your connections with Butt Connectors # DW05745-10.
