It just 16 gauge wire, but the video explaining the light relay installation indicated the perfect amount to complete the routing and installation.

  • What Gauge Wire To Use For Lighting On A Box Truck
For that I recommend using either a 14 or 16 gauge wire. Either will able to safely handle the amp load for the lights on your box truck. We offer the # DW02412-1 for a 14 gauge or the # 16-1-1 for a 16 gauge wire. Both are sold by the foot.

  • Parts Needed to Add Reverse Function for TecNiq LED Trailer Tail Light
To add the reverse function on your trailer you need a 7-Way connector and enough wiring to run from the front to the back of your trailer. Here are the parts you need to get the wiring from your tow vehicle back to the TecNiq LED Trailer Tail Light # TN33XR: - Junction Box Kit # 3430001-JBK - 7-Way Molded Trailer Wire Connector # H20043 - 16 Gauge Wire # 16-1-1 - Butt Connectors # DW05744-10 - 3-Wire Pigtail # A45PMB (per light) - 2-Wire Pigtail # A42PMB (per light)

  • Can An Extension Be Used With The Roadmaster 12v Outlet Kit
It's totally normal to splice on some extra wire to the 12 Volt Outlet Kit # RM-9332 to get it to the battery so I would just use some 16 AWG # 16-1-1 and a butt connector # DW05744-10 instead of using the extension # RM-9331. The extension would technically work but just splicing in more wire is a bit cleaner of a setup.

  • Changing Trailer 4-Way Wiring to 7-Way Wiring for Extra Function and Compatible Connector to Truck
To switch your boat trailer from a 4-way to a 7-way connector, I recommend using the 7-Way Molded Trailer Wire Connector, 6' Long # H20044 along with heat shrink butt connectors # DW05744-5. You will ground the white wire to your trailer frame using # 44-5310A and then connect the running lights, right turn/stop, left turn/stop, and reverse light. To the reverse light (yellow wire on # H20044) you will connect # 16-1-1 wire sold by the foot to lead to your trailer reverse lights that...

  • Wiring Diagram for Home Made Trailer
I've linked an article on trailer wiring that includes a diagram you might find helpful. One solution to help wire everything together is to use a junction box with your trailer's 7-way connector, like # 277-000141. This way you can run all of your trailer's wires to the box instead of to the back of the connector. To wire you brakes you'll want to use 10 gauge wiring # 10-1-1. For the lights you can use 16 gauge, # 16-1-1. Both are sold by the foot. When looking into the back of...

  • Is There an Adapter Plug for the Furrion Vision S Monitor to Allow Use of Monitor Inside Trailer
I may have a solution for you, but there isn't a standard plug available for the Furrion # FCE48TASL-05 that would allow you to plug it into an outlet. What I would recommend is that you use the # C-FOS07TAPK-006, cut off the cigarette adapter plug end and then run a length of 16-gauge wiring # 16-1-1 (sold by the foot) directly to the trailer battery and connect it with a ring terminal like the # DW05702-1. This would allow you to have a plug wired directly inside the camper and one that...

  • Comparing Curt Trailer Hitch C13411 and C13294 For 2017 Mercedes-Benz GLE43 AMG
You are correct that both the Curt Trailer Hitch Receiver # C13294 and # C13411 are confirmed to fit your 2017 Mercedes-Benz GLE43 AMG. Both hitches have a hidden crosstube meaning that only the receiver itself will be visible once installed. I do however recommend the # C13294 as it has a slightly higher tongue weight rating at 750lbs, and a slightly higher trailer weight rating at 7500lbs. For wiring you will first need to install a 4-way connector using # 119250KIT. With a 4-way...

  • Parts Needed to Add Back Up Lights & 7-Way Connector on Boat Trailer
We can get you set up to add back up lights and a 7-way to your boat trailer, and I'll go over what you'll need. Let's start with the back up lights, and for your boat trailer you'll want submersible lights like you said, the GloLight LED Backup Light for Truck or Trailer - Submersible # BUL111CFPG. This will use a 2-wire (power and ground) pigtail, either the Right Angle 2-Wire Pigtail # A49PB or 2-Wire Pigtail # A45CB. Then for added wire I recommend 16 Gauge # 16-1-1, which is sold...

The Thinline LED Trailer Tail Light # STL64RB is pretty easy to install, you'll just need some butt connectors # DW05744-10, self tapping screws to mount the lights, a couple of ring terminals # DW05702-1 to easily mount the ground wires to the frame of the trailer, and possibly some extra wiring # 16-1-1 to bridge the gap between the lights and trailer wiring. You'll need some wire strippers # PT43ZR and crimpers # PTW30764 to secure the wires to the butt connectors and ring terminals....

  • Comparing the Hot-Line LED Trailer Backup Light and GloLight LED Combination Trailer Tail Light
In regards to light output, the Hot-Line LED Trailer Backup Light part # 328-003-6017W will physically put out more light than the reverse light portion of the GloLight LED Combination Trailer Tail Light part # STL161RLB as it has twice as many diodes (12 vs 6). In order to run the reverse light circuit you can use part # 16-1-1 (per foot).

  • How to Install Interior Lights to a Cargo Trailer with 7-Wire System
While we do not have a complete wiring kit for your interior light for a cargo trailer, you can simply use 16-gauge wire # 16-1-1 to install the light into the 12v power pin on your junction box. This solution provides power only when the 7-way plug is plugged in. If you need an interior light option, I suggest the Peterson Great White LED Trailer Interior Cove Light - 1000 Lumens - 18" Long # 359-3. • Wire Size to Use with Wiring in Opti-Brite LED RV Dome Light w/ Switch # ILL22CB
The Opti-Brite LED RV Dome Light w/ Switch # ILL22CB only draws .7 of an amp when active so basically even the thinnest wire you'd find to use with this would easily be enough. This is due to fact LED lights draw such a small amount compared to standard bulbs. So realistically you could go super thing but super thin wire is harder to deal with so I'd go with 16 gauge as it's thick enough to be easy to work with but not overkill. We sell 16 gauge wire by the foot with part number 16-1-1.
