The product is just fine, as long as not using for an application that requires a waterproof connection. This is not a heat shrinkable connector.

The products are working just fine.

  • Recommended Battery Monitoring System For RV Batteries To Help Prevent Overcharging
The fact that your converter overcharged your batteries leads me to believe it's replacement time for your converter since it isn't properly functioning. That being said we do offer monitoring systems like the Go Power RV Battery Monitor Kit with 25' Cable # GP44FR. This monitoring system will allow you to easily see the charge rate and consumption of your batteries and can also let you set shutdown alerts when the voltage is too low or high. If you want to replace your WF-8735P then...

  • Recommended Replacement Dome Lights For A Mobile Vet Clinic
The closest option I could find is a bit smaller than your current 6" x 12" light fixture, but having installed other sizes of this light I can confirm that they make a world of difference when it comes to illuminating a room. The Opti-Brite 12V/24V LED RV Dome Light # OPT58FR is 13-1/2" L x 3-15/16" W and has an effective lumen rating of 1,500 lumens. To give you a comparison the # ILL07COB you were looking at only has an effective lumen rating of 354 lumens. They are a surface mount...

I have a solution for you. You can use the TorkLift Wiring Harness Extension for 48" SuperTruss or Cannon Hitch Extender - 7-Way RV # TLW6048. You could also go all out and wire it yourself using the 7-Way Molded Trailer Wire Connector - 3' Long # H20042 and splice it to your current connection cable with the Butt Connector - PVC - for 16-14g Wire # DW05714 and 12-10 Gauge Butt Connector # 05732-2. The wires are gauged as such 14-Gauge - red, brown, green, and yellow. 12-Gauge - blue....

The solution to fixing the ABS Error on a 2016 Toyota 4Runner with trailer brake controller like the Tekonsha Primus IQ Trailer Brake Controller part # TK90160 is to combine the Tekonsha Custom Wiring Adapter for Trailer Brake Controllers part # 3041-P and Pigtail Wiring Harness with Diode part # 7865. Just cut the brake controller end off the first harness and splice on the one from the second. You need a diode on the red wire to stop back feeding which is what is causing the error message...

  • How To Install the Optronics Thinline LED Trailer Fender Light
The Optronics Thinline LED Trailer Fender Light part # MCL67ARB comes with a mounting bracket so as long as the surface you will be installing it on is metal then yes, it will work for you. All you would need to do to install the light is use two self tapping screws like part # 1131832 to mount the base and then once this is done you can attach the light to the base. To complete the process you will then need to attach the black wire to the running light circuit on your trailer which is...

It sounds like the wiring on your 2000 4Runner needs to be corrected so that the turn signal lights activate correctly and are consistent with the wiring on your other vehicles. First make sure the tail light connectors are installed on the correct side of the 4Runner. The plug with the yellow wire should be connected at the left/driver side tail light and the plug with the green wire should be connected to the right/passenger side tail light. If this is how it is installed and the signal...

  • Brake Controller Recommendation for 2021 Jeep Grand Cherokee
I see that you'd looked at both the Redac # RED24FR Tow-Pro Liberty as well as the Tekonsha # TK90160 Primus. Either controller would work well, to answer the question of which would be the best controller for you will depend on how familiar you are with brake controllers, your budget and whether you'd be satisfied with a traditionally mounted brake controller that would bolt to the underside of the dash like the Primus or whether you'd prefer a remotely mounted controller like the Tow-Pro...

  • Replacing Trailer 5-Way That Has Each Circuit Split Into Two Wires
That specific version of 5-way is not available at this time but the # A25W5B is the closest solution we have to this. It has the brown wire "wishboned" or split for either side of the trailer but the rest of the wires are a single wire per circuit. So what you'd need to do is run both of the wires you have on your trailer to the single wire on the 5-way and you'd be set. For butt connectors we have the part # DW05714.

  • Replacement 5th Wheel LED Tail Light for a Round Red Light
Thank you so much for your photos. We don't have an exact replacement light for you, but we have something very close. It's the Optronics LED Trailer Tail Light, part # STL13RFHXB. This LED light measures 5-5/8" in diameter (almost exactly what your current one measures) and has the three mounting holes. It features the 7 diodes that your current one seems to have and the same three functions. Most importantly, it's round and fully red. This is a flush-mount design, so there is a difference...

  • Installation of Midship Marker and Turn Signal Light on 1996 Holiday Rambler Endeavor
Good news! I can help you wire up a mid-ship turn signal your 96 Holiday Rambler Endeavor, but the Optronics light # MCL32AB you asked about will not blink while you have the running lights on. What you will need is the Amber LED Mid-Ship light with flange # STL75AMFB. I recommend using butt connectors # DW05714 and 16 gauge wire # 16-1-1 to make the connection to the diode from the original circuits. I have linked all the above mentioned products to this page for your purchasing convenience.

  • Parts Needed to Install GloLight LED Trailer Tail Light # STL178RFPB to Trailer Wiring
Best option would be to connect the # A47PB to the wiring you have on your trailer currently so that you can easily plug in the GloLight LED Trailer Tail Light # STL178RFPB. For butt connectors you'd then want the part # DW05714. This is a really solid choice for a light and would work well for your 2018 Grand Design Solitude.
