Excellent for complete replacement on my boat trailer. Easy installation and quality products.

Work as described

by:

I have nothing but happy thoughts about these. I know I installed them right around when I received them. I can't for the life of me remember where I installed them so they must be working fantastically otherwise I would remember having to take them back apart!

by:

Quality heat-shrink butt connectors. Easy to install with the right torch and one year later they are still working well.

by:

All my items were received in timely fashion. Great service @ etrailer.
However, Dexter (I ordered original Dexter parts) needs to up the game on packaging. I ordered four hub assemblies and the bearings were placed in a plastic bag which I'm sure banged around on the hub. A bubble envelope would have been nice to protect the bearings.
I'm looking forward to upgrading my trailer with new Dexter Nev-R-Adjust brakes as was getting tired of constantly manually adjusting the brakes. Glad that etrailer has all the parts I need to do the job.

Easy assembly of all parts, trailer rides like new.

I want to thank you for all your help with my trailer you were more helpful than you realize. So this is my trailer for a 22' Flats Cat shallow draft Catamaran. I totally dismantled my trailer and buffed by hand with a wire buffer and sand blasted in some spots and applied multiple coats of some very expensive galvanize paint (Z.R.C.). I installed all new C. E. Smith Carpet (about 80'), seven new LED waterproof lights, new springs, new equalizers, new tongue jack, new wench, new safety chain, new chain brackets, all new SS hardware and a 35' long wiring harness.
I was able to send only one review with a picture of the safety chain and brackets. I'm having a little trouble with the rest..oh some of these items were bought locally or from your competitors, until I found ETRAILER. Your prices were cheaper for the exact same things. Your helpful how to videos were helpful. And Rose, your personal helpful knowledge made my buying experience very pleasant, I actually enjoyed talking to you! Thanks to ETRAILER and specifically to Rose G.

Genuine Dexter parts at great price. Needs better shipping box. One wire was cut during shipping. Boxes were really beat up. New Grease caps don't fit well fell off, used old ones.

Everything is working perfect and thank you for the follow up. I will be buying more when the time comes that I need something you carry and I recommend you to all of my friends and colleagues

by:

The heat shrink works quite well. The only thing that kept me from giving a 5 star rating was the fact that I had two connectors "let go" of one of the wires after I had crimped it (with a crimping tool) and heat shrank (with a heat gun) the connector. This is a good product but buy more than you need because you may need to replace one.

by:

Not much to say other than they work. Used them when replacing OEM tail lights with LEDs. Still going strong after one year.

Tony

4/17/2021

Still going strong no issues in Central Florida high heat, humidity, and heavy rains.

by:

Quick delivery. Wired the trailer and every thing worked nicely.

by:

Product worked great for trailer wiring repair.

Thank you, and everything still working great. I still browse your site checking out items.

by:

It takes a lot of force to crimp properly, but I haven't had any issues.

by:

Just as described. Perfect for boat trailer electrical connections at a great price. The side lights and grommets fit like the originals. Service and selection can't be beat!

by:

They've been on a year and are still working well. Brighter than incandescent. Etrailer website extensive information (pictures, dimensions, demos, etc) helped me find the the exact match I needed. Install was easy. Hardest part was trying to do a neat job of sealing. I used a clear sealant, so it's not that bad.

by:

These were taillights for a trailer. The LED lights were great and fit in the same location as the old lights but much easier to see and much safer.

by:

First time using these. Hard time to use because of confined space. After heat shrinking, I applied dielectric grease too.

by:

Excellent products, shipped as promised and arrived on time. I have installed all the products. Although it took me longer then a professional installer, I had little to no issues. The online installation videos for all the parts (which were attached to the online order status sheet) made it extremely easy to install. The videos were of a professional actually installing the equipment step by step. etrailer.com has a customer for life.

by:

eTrailer is my go-to for boat trailer parts and I've always had a great experience using them. Everything works as anticipated. These connectors did the trick!

by:

I received The LED trailer lights and connectors. Everything was just as expected and I installed the lights with no problems. Perfect! Good job etrailer.com!

by:

Heat shrink connectors worked great for connecting the wiring for a new brake assembly on my travel trailer.

by:

This company is a class act, great pricing, service and delivery, they actually go out of their way to help, such a pleasure to work with them.
Glad I somehow discovered them, will keep using them as needed. Hope this review helps others.

by:

trailer led lights, perfect fit great customer service and awsome products

by:

Purchased two water proof tail lights for my boat trailer along with the heat shrink connectors. Delivered in 3 days and exactly what I needed. Can't beat etrailer.

by:

Used to connect new trailer lights to existing 18 gauge wiring. The crimp and heat shrink make a long lasting connection.

  • Replacement 4 Way Connector for ATV Trailer
To replace the trailer side 4 way connection I recommend using the Hopkins 4-way Flat Trailer Connector with LED Test Lights # HM48133 . You will be able to hardwire this connector in to the wires on your trailer in the same manner that the previous connector was wired. This 4 way comes with LED test lights already installed to let you know if there are any issues with your connection upon installation and anytime after. If you need any butt connectors, you can use # DW05743-5 (18 gauge-Green/Brown/Yellow...

You can absolutely install a double switch like the Replacement Double-Panel On/Off Switch for Atwood Gas and Electric Combination Water Heaters - White # AT91230 on your Suburban Water Heater. This switch when wired correctly will allow you to power the gas burner and electric components independently. I've attached a wiring diagram to assist. You may want to use the Female Spade Terminal Quick-Disconnect # DW01899-1, butt connectors # DW05743-5, and Deka Ring Terminals # DW05737-1.

  • Replacement 4 Flat Connector for a 2013 Ford Explorer
We definitely have replacement options for a 4 Flat on your 2013 Ford Explorer. I am including a full replacement for your T harness, as this is what I suggest doing, but also an option to cut off the end of your 4 Flat and splice on a new end. The Tekonsha T-One Vehicle Wiring Harness with 4-Pole Flat # 118540 will be a full replacement for your damaged harness. This is a plug and play harness that will take at most 10 minutes to get installed. Due to all this, I recommend going this...

The task of finding replacement lens covers for a now 30+ year old motorhome is going to be very difficult. We do not have the correct replacement lens covers you need and you are going to have a very hard time finding them. Therefore, I recommend just replacing them as the process to install clearance lights is very easy and straightforward. All you will need is some butt connectors and a few mounting screws if they are not already included with the light. I have attached a list of our...

  • How to Connect Optronics Rectangular LED Marker/Clearance Light - Amber, # MCL35A32G
If your trailer does not have the mating connector for Rectangular LED Marker/Clearance Light # MCL35A32G then the best thing to do is to cut off the light's connector and splice it to the trailer wiring. I recommend using heat shrink butt connectors, # DW05743-5, because a quick splice connector would not hold up well in the elements. The gauge of the wire should be 18 gauge, small wiring since it is an LED light.
