Speaker 1: Today we're going to take a look at the Optronics oval LED utility light for your truck or your trailer. It has a frosted lens and it's a quantity of one.Now this is a nice oval utility light for your trailer. The light is not certified to be used as a back up light. It is sonically sealed, waterproof housing and lens. The LEDs on it will make great replacements for your incandescent lights. They last about 50 times longer and they're more efficient.
They'll provide brighter light with less power output, and again there's no bulbs to replace or no brittle filaments.It is a polycarbonate lens and housing. The LEDs are white LEDS, and again, has the frosted lens. This will mount on the surface of the trailer with built in black flange. The hardware to install this is not included. It does have about a 36 inch long molded wiring harness with a nice weather tight connection.
Now the weather tight connection on the back of the light does require an adaptor. We do sell that separately on our website as part number AL45PWTB, and that's to be used to work with an industry standard three prong plug.This light is DOT or Department of Transportation compliant. Few measurements on this, length on it from end to end is right at 7 and 9/16. The height top to bottom is 3 and 5/16 tall, and the depth on the light is only about 9/16 of an inch. It does have 10 diodes.
The power draw at 12.8 volts is .054 amps, and the last thing I want to do is hook this up to 12 volt power and just show you how bright the LEDs are.So I got a power supply here. We'll go ahead and hook it up. Once we get it hooked up, I'll go ahead and turn off the overhead lights, we'll go ahead and turn the power on, and there you go. With the power on you can see 10 LEDs give off a very bright, white light. I'll go ahead and turn the power off.
Turn the lights back on.That should do it for the review on the Optronics oval LED utility light for your truck or trailer with the frosted lens for a quantity of one.
