Lumens are used to measure the amount of usable light that is put out by a light source. Raw lumens represent the number of lumens that the manufacturer claims the LEDs are capable of producing. It does not include the light's drive method or the amount of light lost from the lens or reflector. Effective lumens take these factors into account and represent the number of lumens that are actually produced by the complete light assembly, not just the amount of light that the diodes are capable of producing. This light has a 1,200 raw lumen capacity and produces 720 effective lumens.

Hi there, I'm Michael with etrailer.com. Today, we're gonna take a quick look at this Optibright LED work light. This is a four inch round work light that's gonna provide a nice, bright white light for industrial, agricultural, or recreational applications. It does have six LEDs that are gonna produce 720 lumens. So if I turn it on here you can see it is gonna be very bright. I'll turn off the lights in my studio and switch to my wide shot there so you can see this in my studio.
So it is going to be very bright with that 720 lumens. So the flood beam is going to illuminate a nice wide area for you. The LEDs inside are going to be a really nice long lasting option for you. If you're not familiar, LEDs are more efficient than your older style incandescent lights. And so they're gonna provide brighter light with less power output.
They're also less brittle so they're gonna last about 50 times longer because they don't have those brittle filaments inside. So you're not gonna need to replace 'em. This does have a durable surface mount technology that is going to allow the LED circuit board to be very durable for you, long lasting. It's gonna better withstand shock and vibration. So especially for those agricultural applications it's gonna hold up much better for you.
And it also allows for better heat distribution. So these LEDs come with a lifetime warranty because they are going to do such a good job and last so long. Our housing is a durable water resistant construction. It's got an aluminum base with a black powder coat finish on it. So it is going to be very durable and rust proof.
The lens is a tough polycarbonate lens. So it is going to resist impact. This does have an IP69K rating, so it is going to stand up to severe environmental conditions and cleaning methods. So you're not gonna have to worry about it getting damaged if it's out in the rainstorm or anything like that. This will be compatible with your 12 volt DC and 24 volt DC systems. On your 12.8 volt systems, it's gonna draw about 1.1 amps. On your 24 volt system it'll draw about 0.48 amps. You can see, we do have this six and a half inch long 14 gauge power lead and ground wire to get hooked up. So not a whole lot of length to work with there but it should be enough to get spliced into your electrical wiring. It's very easy to get this installed. They do include the single bolt pedestal-style bracket and hardware for your installation. That bolt diameter there is about five sixteenths. So whether you want to use that original bolt or switch it out for another bolt that bolt hole is gonna be about five sixteenths of an inch. This bracket is going to be adjustable so you can adjust the angle of the light as needed. And it is a stainless steel construction so it is gonna resist corrosion, hold up well for you like the rest of it. As far as our dimensions go, this is right at four and three quarters of an inch tall by my measurement. It is four inches wide and then our depth is approximately two and three eights of an inch. So it is gonna be very compact and still give you lots of light output for a scene in those low light conditions and that sort of thing. So that completes our look for today. Easy installation , we replaced three lights on our bloomer horse trailer . These are much much brighter than the old lights very nice product so far ! Thank you
RECEIVED THE PRODUCT WITHIN THE TIMEFRAME STATED AND THEY ARE EXACTLY WHAT I WANTED.
I installed these on the back of my boat trailer and hooked them up to my reverse lights for launching my boat in the dark. I wanted an extremely bright flood so I could see both sides and the down the center. Just wonderfully bright and dependable a year later as when new.
Ok for PU back up lights. I would have liked a brighter light.
I replaced a halogen external light fixture on my horse trailer with this model LED light fixture several months ago. It is brighter, instant on and lower energy usage which are all positives especially for the battery when the trailer is disconnected. I ordered 2 more to replace the other external halogen light fixtures on my horse trailer. Good lighting is especially important when you need to access your trailer with your horse after sundown. Also easy to install.

Excellent replacement light for my trailer. Had to upgrade lights on my 16 year old horse trailer. Chose LED and am greatly pleased with this light. Has stood the test of time.
Appears to be a well made outdoor quality light fixture with good quality mounting/attaching hardware thoughtfully included by the manufacturer. Rated for both 12 and 24 volt applications. Flood beam provides good general work area lighting with low current draw. We plan to use them predominantly for quick and easy portable indoor lighting during power failures.
I already owned this particular brand of LED light so I pretty much knew what I was getting. In my usage they have been better than average. No problems to speak of. I use them on all of our trucks.
I ordered two of these for headlights on a 36 volt electric golf cart. These things are brighter than a lot of car headlights and have great range. If i ever need anymore for back up lights or work lights on my truck i will be ordering these. I have been using them for over a year and they still work great. I have been ordering from etrailer for about 5 years now and let me tell you there is no better company or staff to deal with.
Look great and are bright but not blinding. Can look out windows and see now.
I've been using this light on the back of my enclosed trailer. I just couldn't see behind me at night. This light is amazing for lighting up behind the trailer, all from one light. Definitely recommend!
Good product, very bright with low amperage. Bought these for my horse trailer to replace my prep area and ramp load area lights.
Install is easy but on horse trailers where just the thin steel sheet is used, the square backing of the bolt protrudes through the bracket and won't tighten fully, leaving some wobble and play that is not acceptable for horse trailer exterior. a thick lag bolt washer did the trick.
Also, for an 'area' light, this is not the most ideal. it's extremely bright but a tighter beam than i would have liked. Meaning, mounted 8 feet off the ground, there is a very tight 5 feet long by 2 or 3 feet wide strip of really bright, around the saddle on our horse. i was expecting something like a 7 x 5 or more given the shape of the light. picked based on lumens, but beam angle was not presented. would be good info.
Overall 4 stars, really just because of the narrow beam.
I bought the earlier version of this light several years ago to replace an incandescent work light on our horse trailer. It worked brilliantly until I pressure washed it. (Note to self: Don't pressure wash the work light!) I purchased the Opti-Brite LED Work light to replace the one I drowned. This one also works brilliantly! It has an improved mount as well as being even easier to install. I highly recommend it!
I purchased the lights to replace the headlights on our forklift because I was tired of replacing bulbs every couple of weeks, but once they were on we realized how much better the LED lights are. They light up the whole area in front of the lift and no more replacing bulbs. Great product at a great price.

Could be a tad brighter, but have it on a remote switch on the back of my cargo trailer from my truck and aids in backup and lighting when loading my trailer at night. Great product!
The best light to use when it's dark! I used these lights on my off-road camping trailer and they work! It was dark at night and this can be a real problem, so I installed these lights and I could see at night. Super great price for an inexpensive solution. The mounts are real simple with a nut and bolt for the up and down and a carriage bolt and nut for mounting. Easy!

I think these lights that I got are going to work out Great. I had problems installing them but after calling and talking to a rep. I was able to find my problem and they are on the horse trailer and working great now. I picked out these lights after reading some of your reviews and thanks to your representative for her help.
