Lumens are used to measure the amount of usable light that is put out by a light source. Raw lumens represent the number of lumens that the manufacturer claims the LEDs are capable of producing. It does not include the light's drive method or the amount of light lost from the lens or reflector. Effective lumens take these factors into account and represent the number of lumens that are actually produced by the complete light assembly, not just the amount of light that the diodes are capable of producing. This light has a 2,160 raw lumen capacity and produces 1,492 effective lumens.

Today we're going to review Part Number TLL46FB. This is the Optronics Opti-Brite LED floodlight. This is a 9 diode design in square shape. This LED utility light is perfect for agricultural, industrial, or recreational use. This design is a floodlight design which will illuminate a wide area with light. It has long lasting LEDs which are great replacements for the normal incandescent lights.
The LEDs are more efficient and provide a brighter light with less power draw plus there's no bulbs to replace or no brittle filaments to break. The rectangular face as you can see here adjusts forward and back for easy aiming. The low profile design is for tight spaces. It is a rust proof aluminum housing which is black powder coated. The other nice feature as you can see it's sort of made in a fin design which will help cool the light. Has a nice tough polycarbonate lens which is impact resistant.
It is made of the same material used to make bullet proof glass. The stainless steel pedestal right here is included. And the mounting hardware. They'll all resist corrosion. It is a dual powered design.
It will work with 12-volt and 24-volt DC systems. On the back here you'll notice there is a single wire sheathe that will contain 2 wires: the white ground wire and the black 12 volt lead wire for power. A few dimensions on this. Just going to set it down here. The width on the face here is going to be 5 inches. The height on it is going to be 4 and a half inches tall.
The widest depth on it, the top here is going to be 2 and 3/8 inches. The length on this wire sheathe is about 10 inches. The thicknesses used is an 18 gauge wire. Again it has the 9 diodes as you can see right there. Comes with a 3 year warranty. Now the effective lumen output on this is 1,350 lumens. What I'm going to try to do is hook this up to my 12-volt power to give you an idea of the brightness of it. What we're going to do is we're going to take the 12-volt power, hook that to the black wire, and I'm going to take the white ground wire or the ground wire and hook it to the white wire. What we're going to go ahead and do is turn off the over head lights, and I'm going to try to show you here. I'm going to turn on the power just to give you an idea. There's the brightness. As you can see it's a floodlight design, so it gives you a very wide range of light. Now go ahead and turn the power off. We'll go ahead and turn the overhead lights back on. Disconnect the light. I was able to find my problem and they are on the horse trailer and working great now. I picked out these lights after reading some of your reviews and thanks to your representative for her help.
Very well built light. Easy to install and lights up a large area. I would buy again and recommend it.

Not too hard on a battery either, which is real important on a trailer mounted battery.

Great back up lights---super bright----
These lights are extremely bright and work great.
RECEIVED THE PRODUCT WITHIN THE TIMEFRAME STATED AND THEY ARE EXACTLY WHAT I WANTED.
I installed these on the back of my boat trailer and hooked them up to my reverse lights for launching my boat in the dark. I wanted an extremely bright flood so I could see both sides and the down the center. Just wonderfully bright and dependable a year later as when new.
Ok for PU back up lights. I would have liked a brighter light.
I replaced a halogen external light fixture on my horse trailer with this model LED light fixture several months ago. It is brighter, instant on and lower energy usage which are all positives especially for the battery when the trailer is disconnected. I ordered 2 more to replace the other external halogen light fixtures on my horse trailer. Good lighting is especially important when you need to access your trailer with your horse after sundown. Also easy to install.

Excellent replacement light for my trailer. Had to upgrade lights on my 16 year old horse trailer. Chose LED and am greatly pleased with this light. Has stood the test of time.
Appears to be a well made outdoor quality light fixture with good quality mounting/attaching hardware thoughtfully included by the manufacturer. Rated for both 12 and 24 volt applications. Flood beam provides good general work area lighting with low current draw. We plan to use them predominantly for quick and easy portable indoor lighting during power failures.
I already owned this particular brand of LED light so I pretty much knew what I was getting. In my usage they have been better than average. No problems to speak of. I use them on all of our trucks.
I ordered two of these for headlights on a 36 volt electric golf cart. These things are brighter than a lot of car headlights and have great range. If i ever need anymore for back up lights or work lights on my truck i will be ordering these. I have been using them for over a year and they still work great. I have been ordering from etrailer for about 5 years now and let me tell you there is no better company or staff to deal with.
Look great and are bright but not blinding. Can look out windows and see now.
I've been using this light on the back of my enclosed trailer. I just couldn't see behind me at night. This light is amazing for lighting up behind the trailer, all from one light. Definitely recommend!

Good product, very bright with low amperage. Bought these for my horse trailer to replace my prep area and ramp load area lights.
Install is easy but on horse trailers where just the thin steel sheet is used, the square backing of the bolt protrudes through the bracket and won't tighten fully, leaving some wobble and play that is not acceptable for horse trailer exterior. a thick lag bolt washer did the trick.
Also, for an 'area' light, this is not the most ideal. it's extremely bright but a tighter beam than i would have liked. Meaning, mounted 8 feet off the ground, there is a very tight 5 feet long by 2 or 3 feet wide strip of really bright, around the saddle on our horse. i was expecting something like a 7 x 5 or more given the shape of the light. picked based on lumens, but beam angle was not presented. would be good info.
Overall 4 stars, really just because of the narrow beam.
