Hey everyone, it's Evangeline here at etrailer. And today I have the STKR Concepts Tri-Mobile Work Light. This is going to be a portable work light that includes a stand. And this has a 360 degree movement, meaning if you need to look into your engine, look down at your tires, turn this around to look at your battery, you can make those adjustments as well as mount this to different places. Let's take a look at those features. This does have a telescoping pole, that allows you to extend this up to four feet.
So that is the ideal height for if you need it to be pointing towards your engine bay. I personally would prefer a slightly taller tripod instead but that can be found with the STKR Concepts Fly Pro, which is designed for those taller applications. Now, the tripod is made of aluminum, so it is lightweight. And as I do try to drop this around, notice how it still stays standing. Even with slight movement, it adjusts to it.
You can also remove this from the tripod and use it on its own. So underneath, there's a hook that you can take out, or you can also use it as a magnet, adhering it to metal surfaces. Both of those features are found at the bottom of the light. So the magnets, there's three of them and then there's the hook. And when you pop that out, you can put this on maybe say your hood's hook, over on a shelf, whichever has a good spot for it.
This can also rotate to help you out. So while it's hanging here, let's take advantage of those lights to light up the engine bay. Now you do have different options here. And, when it turns on, it is at the brightest option. So I always recommend making your adjustments before you turn on the light.
So we'll have it facing down. We'll press the button at the top of the light. That's our power button, and that turns on the lights. So we have 2,000 lumens of brightness here. If we press the button again, it turns it off. Or we could cycle through the different brightness levels. So from high, medium, low, and then off. If you needed to work on your tires, maybe you're putting on a tire chain or changing out a flat, you can use the magnets on this, turn the lights on. And then, you can also adjust the temperature of the light. So you can go from two settings, you have cool and warm. So the light has a lithium Iron Ridge hard volt battery with a 2,000 million amp hour battery. And, what that means is if it's fully charged the runtime is one and a half hours on the highest setting, and three hours on the lowest setting. It does include a charger with a decently long cord, which is great. But the charger, that is a barrel charger. So rather than a USB C, which some of the STKR Concepts Lights have, if you lose this you're gonna have to find another one that matches. This is water resistant, so you can see there's a cover over where you charge your battery. So as long as you're not charging anymore, make sure to push that cover in to maintain that seal. On the other side of the light, you have your buttons for controlling the brightness, as well as the temperature of the light. And then you have your light indicators underneath, showing your battery level. Now, while this is a 2,000 lumen light, what it actually is is 2,000 total. So each panel has 665 lumens. So if you need to decrease your light you can use a single panel, add a second panel, have it facing the same direction, and then add that third panel. So here in the darkness, this is what those panels look like as you switch out the different lumens, or the different panels. This is small, lightweight and compact, about the size of a water bottle. And I could keep this inside of my glove box, in my hatch or trunk with my other car supplies. Or I could keep this in the garage, on a shed, on a shelf pretty much anywhere. It's a little bit over eight inches tall, and it only weighs about four pounds because it is made of aluminum. Now for the tripod, this does become more compact. You have the little twist levers, tighten those down. And then the legs come up and they click together. So, if you wanted to extend it, you would have to press a button, otherwise it would just flop out on its own. So at the bottom, there is a push button. Pushing this pops the legs out, and they extend easily and secure right back in. So, both of them can be stored together. If you have a longer or larger area to store it in you could twist it together and store it like that. Final thoughts about this light is well, STKR Concepts has a bunch of different light options for different situations. This is gonna be one of your larger and brighter light options. Great for if you are working in your engine bay, on your tires, on your vehicle. Now, it can be used outside as you are camping. But I personally think it's a little bit on the smaller side and shorter side for that. The STKR Concepts Fly Pro, which goes really high up would be great for a campsite. They also have the smaller lights, like the little light mine professionals. That would be great for your engine bay, especially when you stack them up or putting them in your tents. So this is gonna be in the middle of all of those different options. Good for versatility, or if you're working in a shop. If you want something more specialized, though, you have those other options available to you here at etrailer.
