Video Transcript for A Closer Look at the STKR Concepts Solar FLEXIT Flexible Flashlight

Hey everyone, it's Evangeline here at Etrailer and today we have the STKR Concepts FLEXIT panel light. This is gonna have a solar panel as well as a very flexible panel for your lights. That way, no matter what kind of situation you're in, this can adjust to it. STKR Concepts has a lot of different types of light designs and they are designed for unique situations. This one is not just a work light but can also be used as an emergency light. So maybe something happens your trailer or your vehicle needs to pull over to the side of the road.

With this, you can set it up quickly and easily adjust through the different modes and then have the best emergency light for that spot. Here's what it looks like going through the different modes. You have your floodlight and spotlight together. You can turn off the spotlight, so you just have your bright floodlight. There's your low floodlight, now you have your red light, and then your flashing light with the red light and then back to the spotlight and floodlight.

Those buttons are accessed in the back by your solar panel. So the center button is your power button and then you have the mode button to the right. On the left, it looks like a button, but this actually flips up to get access to your micro USB port. So that micro USB cord is gonna be helpful for if you need to charge it at night. But really what does most of the job is that solar panel.

If this is fully charged and you have this set to the lowest light setting, then this can run for up to 70 hours. Now how long it'll actually run as well as how fast it'll actually charge is dependent on the amount of light as well as which light output setting you have it at. As for where it can sit, you saw it can sit on the ground. You have this 360 degree movement using that flexible panel but you can also secure it using the magnetic base or the hook. As long as your surface is ideally made of steel or something that can be magnetized to it will stay.

You can also use that hook, which can twist and pivot around for even more versatility as well as more stability. When I first started using this FLEXIT panel, I did notice some wear and tear here in the back where it looks like wrinkles, but after using the panel even more and trying to move it into all the different configurations and angles and tilts, I've not noticed those wrinkles increase. So for overall durability, this is designed to handle almost any position. If you do rely on this being used as an emergency light which it really is designed for, given its features and how it's constructed. Something I did notice is depending on where the sun is, you may or may not have a better experience. If I need my light facing this way, but the sun is beating down this way, my solar panel is in the shadow. I can flip this over to try to get the out of the shadow but then the light topples over. So it's just things like that where it's very lightweight but doesn't have as much heft to it. That is worth considering. You may want to get something slightly heavier to weigh this down, but finding the best angle for you is something you're gonna have to figure out. Even if it rains or if dust kicks up, it is weather resistant, so there are no open spots for your LED lights and that way this will survive a little storm if it kicks up real quick. So you can really see with its different features that it's really best used as an emergency light. If you're looking for just a task light, this would not be my first pick. I would look at something like a Light Mine Professional with its versatility or just your standard flashlight to keep inside the car. But if you're looking for something that has dual purpose, something that you can set up very quickly, you can charge using the sun and you don't have to always worry about making sure it's plugged in, this is gonna be good for that. I like how you can adjust the angle of the light compared to your standard fold together and set up by the side of the road warning or emergency signs. This has more versatility as well as durability compared to those. So it really does depend on what you're using this for. I personally would keep it inside my car or my trailer for emergency purposes and if I needed to look at something real quick in the dark, this can also work with it. So if you are looking for a very specific light for a very specific situation, we have a bunch of different options from STKR Concepts. You can check out our photos and videos and descriptions to figure out which one is gonna be the best fit for you. But right here, right now, this was a look at the STKR Concepts Solar Panel Flexible Light here at etrailer.com.
