  • Install Instructions For Door Magnet On Lippert Electric Tread Lite Steps
  • The easiest way to do this is to replace the original magnet with the new magnet. If you don't have a magnet already, start with the motorhome side first, see where the door lands and apply your new magnet to the door with the provided adhesive tape. I have included a picture to help guide you. I will also link an install video.

  • What Steps Do You Recommend for My 50-Inch High Entryway on My RV?
  • I have a great solution for you to get stairs for your 50-inch entry platform. Unfortunately, the Victory Step Manual Fold-Down Steps for RV and Toy Haulers # LC726895 will only work with entryways that are 30-45 inches high. Victory Step models sadly do not come with a 5-step option that will be able to get you the 50-inch height you need. With that being said, for a great 5-step version that will give you the height you need, I recommend the TorkLift GlowStep Stow N' Go Scissor Steps...

  • Can RV Steps be Mounted to 2013 Mercedes-Benz Sprinter Van
  • Technically, you can install the Kwikee 32 Series Electric RV 2-Step # LC372261 on your 2013 Mercedes-Benz but they aren't designed to fit any certain vehicle and its not been done that I'm aware so I can't say for sure if this will fit. These steps do have a mounting plate dimension of 23-3/4" wide x 11-3/8" deep. I think you will be better off using stationary steps that are confirmed to fit your van, the Carr Custom-Fit Side Steps # CARR125771.

The Carr Custom-Fit Side Steps can be installed below the driver side door or anywhere along the rocker panel you like to provide additional help getting up into the vehicle. That said, they do not offer any electric steps for your van nor do you really have any other option save for the hoop style steps above. The...

  • This can be a number of possibilities why your Lippert Electric Tread Lite Step for RVs # LC353543 are not working properly, sometimes, the steps will not retract if the door and door frame magnet switches aren’t perfectly aligned. These components need to be perfectly aligned to ensure operational success. It would also be a good idea to check that the grounding wires are making a solid connection to the chassis of the motorhome or trailer and should not have rust between the connections. ...

  • How to Pick Out Replacement Motor for RV Steps
  • There's a few ways to do it. If you can get the number off of the motor on the step that can help identify what it is. If you can determine what series step it is that helps too. Pictures of the motor and step will help a lot. There are several styles of steps and some have different generations so the key is determining what step you have, what version of it you have and then selecting the replacement motor based on that. So the step you referenced is the Lippert Kwikee 28 Series part...
