The TorkLift GlowStep Revolution Scissor Steps # TLA8004 that you referenced are designed to fit entry heights on RVs that are between 32-1/2 and 44 inches which which might be a little higher than what you have on your 2018 Lance 1475 based on the pictures I was able to find online of it, we don't have a way to get the exact threshold height of your RV so you'll have to take a quick measurement to verify. If you find you have lower height we have the part # TLA8102 which has two steps... view full answer...

The Lippert 171317 steps you've currently got have been discontinued, but you can use the Kwikee 32 Series Electric RV Steps - Double - 7" Rise - 22" x 8" Bolt Pattern # LC372261, which according to Lippert would be a direct replacement. These powered steps are 25-1/4" wide and work on entry heights taller than 13-1/2"; they'll also open and close when in conjunction with your coach door, so they're a great choice.
If you take some measurements and determine that you need a different... view full answer...
The SolidStep Manual Fold-Down Steps for 24" Wide RV Door Frames - Double - Aluminum # LC713662 is roughly 22" wide when measured from the outside of each step frame, so you will be able to make this fit inside your 23-1/2" wide door frame. I've linked a photo diagram of this measurement.

The Brophy Camper Scissor Steps # SS03 referenced in your question features mounting bracket dimensions of 18-1/4 inches wide, 1 inch tall, and 1 inch deep. The mounting bracket can be attached to any flat surface that can support the weight of the steps and a person on them, so as long as you have the space available there is no particular reason that you couldn't mount it to your Tacoma to allow for easier access to the camper.
We have had customers attach the bracket to the bottom... view full answer...
My TorkLift contact advised that on their GlowStep Revolution Scissor Step # TLA8003 the distance from the top of the frame bracket down to the top step is 7-inches. Unlike most others this step offers some adjustability.
If you are at a campsite that does not allow you to fully extend the step unit it is still perfectly fine to use it when only partially extended. I confirmed with TorkLift.
I would like to mention an item that often helps RV-ers with pets, especially older pets (as... view full answer...
Since your doorway measures 25-1/2 inches in width you'd want to go with the SolidStep that is designed for 26 inch wide doorways like the Triple Step part # LC791574. Lippert has told us that you round up to the next nearest size if your exact size is not listed. I attached a picture I took from the install instructions for the SolidSteps for you to check out as well. view full answer...
The 23-5/8 inch width is the widest point and is actually for the metal rod. The bracket width is 22-1/8 inches from edge to edge. I measured this product for you to confirm and have attached a photo to assist. view full answer...
The Brophy 4-Step Camper Scissor Steps # AS24 work with campers that have an entryway height of 31 to 39-inches. So long as your camper's threshold is within this height range above level ground this step will work fine. If your camper's door height is lower, in the range of 24 to 31-inches, then instead you can use the similar 3-step unit # AS23.
Both of these steps are rated for 300-lbs and are only to be used while your vehicle is stationary. They should not be mounted permanently.... view full answer...
Because most RV makers do not maintain specifications on the OEM parts such as steps that they install on their products, I cannot be sure that the TorkLift GlowStep Revolution Scissor Step w/ Landing Gear # TLA8104 will fit your Layton Trailer.
The TorkLift GlowStep Revolution has a mounting base dimension of 25-7/16 inches wide x 8 inches deep. The height from the top of step opening to the ground can be adjusted from 32-1/2 inches to 40 inches. I recommend verifying the mounting... view full answer...
It really depends on the setup, but I was able to find a picture online where someone with your camper installed in a truck that had a storage compartment under the camper was still able to install a set of scissor steps like the part # SS04 that you referenced between the storage compartment and the bottom of the camper. You should be able to do the same, but without seeing what your setup looks like it would be hard to say for certain. view full answer...
If it were me I would go ahead and purchase the Outriggers for Stromberg Carlson RV Manual Pull-Out Steps # LC301704. This product will give you more flexibility for installation of the RV Manual Pull out Stairs # LC432687 on your RV, and most likely you will need them. view full answer...
