The aluminum loading ramps we have that are closest to the 5' long x 13" wide measurements you mentioned are the Gen-Y Hitch Aluminum Loading Ramp Set # 325-GH-R72.

This can be installed on either end of the ramp to help make the transition onto easier or at the hinge of the ramp to ease the transition from the ramp door to the trailer. The # RA-DB4 spring you mentioned is designed to be a replacement for the lower spring of the Rack'Em Double Barrel trailer tailgate lift assist, part # RA-27C. I really can't recommend using it for anything other than that, since there is no guarantee it will work. Hey Gary, we might actually have easier options for what you are looking for that I think you'd be happier with. Since it's an equipment trailer I imagine it has the standard heavy metal ramps that pivot on a 1-1/2 inch diameter shaft (I'd double check to be sure) which would allow you to use a spring like the part # RS16933RH for the right hand side and part # RS16933LH. These will make the ramps feel WAY lighter and would be way easier to deal with than moving a winch around.

Hey Joanne, I think I've found what you're looking for with the Surehoof Ribbed Rubber Trailer Mat # 4872SM. This measures 48" x 72" which I would think is enough to cover your ramp and help your horse feel a little more comfortable and secure walking up the ramp.

Hi DL; that is really hard to say for sure without you checking yourself. The # K71-384-00 will lift your trailer by the diameter of the axle (2-3/8") plus the height of the leaf spring stack. To figure this out you can try to look and see how much able is left coiled up with the ramp down.
