That's a good question, and the 500 lb weight capacity of the 24" x 40" etrailer Cargo Carrier for RV Bumper # e99050 will not be reduced if you add one or even two of the 24" Extension for etrailer Bumper Mounted RV Cargo Carrier # e99052.
The cargo carrier will still have its 500 lb capacity even with the extension (or extensions), though keep in mind you will want to verify the weight capacity of your RV's bumper to ensure you don't overload it.

Sorry but no. There is no mounting post for bikes for the etrailer Cargo Carrier for RV Bumper item # e99049. The only accessory available for this cargo carrier is the 24" Extension for etrailer Bumper Mounted RV Cargo Carrier item # e99052. view full answer...
The 24" Extension for etrailer Bumper Mounted RV Cargo Carrier # e99052 is basically 500 lbs, but the reason it doesn't have a listed weight rating is because this is an extension piece for the etrailer RV Bumper Cargo Carrier like part # e99049. These carriers have a 500 lb weight capacity and the extension doesn't add any weight capacity.
Please note that the extension piece is meant to be used with the carrier and not just by itself as just the one arm support isn't enough to be a proper... view full answer...
The reason the RV bumper mount style of cargo carriers like the # e83YR are wider than the hitch mount options is because RVs are generally much wider than vehicles. That is why the hitch style carriers like the etrailer # e98874 are only up to 60 inches wide. view full answer...
The Curt RV bumper hitch part # E-100 has a tongue weight capacity of 350 lbs so it would easily handle the weight of a 250 lb cargo carrier. view full answer...
The amount of actual cargo weight you can safely transport on a hitch cargo carrier installed in a bumper-mounted hitch is determined by the lowest-rated component. Those components consist of the RV's bumper, the hitch such as # UF35-946401 that is mounted on it, and the cargo carrier itself. The lowest-rated of the three items will determine overall capacity.
If you have a 500-lb-rated cargo carrier like Curt # C18151 and install this in the 200-lb-rated Ultra-Fab RV Hitch # UF35-946401... view full answer...
You can use Curt trailer hitch mount cargo carrier # C18152 on the back of your RV to carry your generator. You will want to avoid models that fold up because folding models have additional points of movements that could possibly fail due to the increased stress associated with being at the back of an RV. The ride quality at the rear of an RV is much rougher than a passenger vehicle due to the increased distance from the rear axle to the rear of the vehicle.

When the etrailer Cargo Carrier # e98872 is completely folded up for storage, it gets down to a pretty compact size of 32-1/4 inches long x 11-1/4 inches wide x 21-1/4 inches tall, so if the space inside your RV's storage compartment is at least that big, you're good to go.
Since the size of RV storage compartments can vary, you'll just need to take a quick measurement to ensure there is enough space to store the carrier inside. If you find that your compartment is too small, you can use... view full answer...
We do not have a showroom in your area but we did create several videos on the GearSpace 34 Enclosed Cargo Carrier # HGK819 that I have linked for you. These are not quite the same as hands-on but they're close.
The GearSpace 34 is an excellent choice for transporting substantial cargo volume (34-cubic feet!) and weight too (300-lbs) in the hitch on your Sprinter motorhome. In fact, my contact at Let's Go Aero said this carrier is the most popular carrier option for your RV.

The Curt Adjustable Trailer Hitch # 13703 that you referenced has a tongue weight rating of 350 lbs. If the weight of your generator plus the weight of the carrier you have weighs less than 350 lbs together then this hitch would work for you.
You will need to make sure that your cargo carrier is rated for use behind an RV/trailer if you plan to install this hitch on either an RV or trailer. view full answer...
From the top of the shank (the part that goes into the hitch receiver) to the top of the railing of the 22x59 Rola Cargo Carrier for 2" Hitches 59502, it is about 6-3/4 inches high.
If the Rola Cargo Carrier is too high for you to open the doors on your 2021 Sprinter 2500 chassis, there are other cargo carriers that do not the added 2-inch rise of the Rola carrier. For a solution of a carrier that doesn't have rise in the shank and is RV approved, I recommend the 23x59 Stromberg Carlson... view full answer...
The Curt # 13703 that you referenced has a tongue weight capacity of 350 lbs. If the combined weight of all of your cargo is less than that this hitch should work well for you.
It sounds like you would be right near the 350 lb limit though, so I would recommend you verify the weight of everything. Also, most cargo carriers are not rated for use behind RVs or motorhomes, so I would verify that your cargo carrier is rated for that. view full answer...
The hitch pin of the RV Bumper Hitch, part # E-100 would fall approximately 1-1/2 inches behind the front face of the bumper. You will want to measure from that point out to where it will clear the spare tire support. Compare this measurement to the shank on your cargo carrier. If the distance from the pin hole on the cargo carrier shank to the closest edge of the basket is greater than the clearance measurement you made, you should be fine.

If the bumper of your trailer sits lower than the bottom of the trailer body then yes the 24x40 etrailer Cargo Carrier for RV Bumper # e99050 would fit and work well. The GearDeck 17 Enclosed Cargo Carrier for 2" Trailer Hitches Item # H00604 measures 14 inches from the center of the hitch pin hole to the box when the carrier is retracted in the travel position.
You probably won't find anything that extends out 24 inches because at that distance the carrier and its contents will put too much stress on the hitch. The closest is etrailer.com cargo carrier # e98874 which measures 19-1/2 inches from the center of the hitch pin hole to the nearest part of... view full answer...
The hitch should have the tongue weight capacity stamped or labeled on it. Check to see if you find it there. Also, check the owner manual of the RV to see if it is listed there. You must abide by the lowest of the two figures if they are different.
Remember, the weight figures you found are the weight capacity of the carriers. You also have to take into account the weight of the carrier itself.
