We do offer RV and camper hitches in both the frame-mount and bumper-mount varieties. Do please note that all of these are the 2-inch size. This is so because a 1-1/4-inch hitch would not have the strength required for use on the back of a camper trailer. The reason is that the further the rear axle is from the hitch tube, the greater the vertical and lateral sway forces will be on the hitch. All RV hitches are shown on the linked page.
Also, please note that you cannot use just any bike... view full answer...

You will have to do some measuring to determine if the bikes will fit without extending past the side of your trailer. Each of the rack bases has an overall width of 20 inches. You can use that measurement along with your bikes and check at the back of the trailer for proper fit and clearance of the spare while not extending past the side of the camper. We have other options if this rack will not work for you. I have posted a link below to our RV and Camper Bike Racks page for your... view full answer...

As you may already know, bike racks that are used on the back of a trailer or RV must be approved for this purpose as the stress placed on them with this type of application will far outweigh the amount of stress for a bike rack placed on the back of a vehicle.

I have a couple different options for you to take a look at. But unfortunately, using a dual hitch receiver like the Malone 2" Dual Purpose Hitch Receiver # MPG544 is not going to work for what you need. This is because using the Malone 2" Dual Purpose Hitch Receiver # MPG544 will reduce your tongue weight capacity by 50% which will not allow you enough capacity to even tow your camper.

The best rack would be a hitch application. You can take a measurement on your camper to see what bike racks will fit.
Lay a dowel rod or yard stick against the spare tire, straight up and down. Measure from the center of the hitch pin hole to the dowel rod. This measurement represents the minimum spare tire clearance. All of our bike racks have the center of hitch pin hole to upright/wheel hoop measurement. As long as the measurement you take on the camper is less than the measurement... view full answer...
I understand your intent in replacing just the shank component of your Swagman XC # S64650 platform bike rack with a RV-rated shank to allow use of this carrier while towing your camper trailer. Since the XC is not rated for use on the rear of an RV this would be a cost-effective way to use your existing rack in that application.
However, the replacement shank # SP325 for the Traveler XCS rack # S64664 will not fit, nor would it make the XC suitable to use on a ball mount while you tow.... view full answer...
