The only difference in steps that are faceted as having Ground Contact or No Ground Contact is that the steps that have ground contact have a portion of the steps that comes in complete contact with the ground while those labeled No Ground Contact are not supported by the ground at all.
For example, the TorkLift GlowStep Stow N' Go Scissor Steps with Landing Gear # TLA7833 have landing gear feet that support the steps via full ground contact while the Flexco Manual Pull-Out Steps for... view full answer...
You are correct. the RV steps we offer are 24-inches wide regardless of the amount of steps.
I recommend installing replacement steps like part # SMFP-4400. These are 24 inch wide steps. The mounting base dimensions are 27 inches wide x 9-inches deep. You would need to build up the mounting location on your RV to work with these steps. view full answer...
So there is not an option for a backplate/backsplash with the MORryde StepAbove RV Steps for 21-3/4" to 22-1/4" Wide Doorways - 2 Steps # MR86RR.
This was a design choice, however, much like the removable pins; the reason for that is to make it simpler to clean the steps. With steps that have the backplates, cleaning them and sweeping off the dirt that inevitably gets on them is a pain because you can't just sweep it off the back of the step, so dirt tends to linger.
That isn't the case... view full answer...
We do offer several aluminum rv steps that feature 4 steps. You will want to either know what brand steps you are replacing or need to measure the mounting location of the steps you have on your Heartland.
I have attached a link to our product page for the 4-step aluminum trailer steps. These steps vary by mounting width and also by the drop for each step, so you will want to have an idea how long you want the steps to be.

When you install the camper side panel of the Solera Family Room # LC362230 you will be trimming out an opening for the steps to pass through.
I have attached a link to the installation instructions below but here is a picture for you to understand what it will look like.

These steps have a mounting dimension of 25-1/4 inches x 8-3/4 inches. The steps are 24-1/4 inches wide and 8-1/4 inches deep and have a 7-inch drop/rise. view full answer...
From what I could find the SM-24-40 are just 24 inch wide quad steps for an RV, and we have a couple of options that could replace those, depending on your entry height and mounting bracket dimensions.
For a 34" - 37" entry height and if you have at least 28-1/8" wide x 18-1/2" tall x 12" deep dimensions for a mounting bracket you can use the Flexco Manual Pull-Out Steps for RVs - Quad - 8" Drop/Rise - 24" Wide # SMFP-4400.
For a 36-3/4" - 39-3/4" entry height and if you have at least... view full answer...
The hinges used on the strut assist models are a bit different than the models without the strut assist so you would unfortunately have to replace your entire step and strut. If you don't know what specific model you have then we'll need to know your entry height (measurement from the ground up to the door threshold) and the door width (flange to flange measurement) in order to pick out the correct replacement.
For example, the MORryde StepAbove RV Steps with Strut Assist # MR75RR you... view full answer...
Nope, you will not need any type of adapter bar for your RadRover step-thru ebike when using the Hollywood Racks RV Rider Bike Rack for 2 Electric Bikes # HLY64FR.
The RV Rider # HLY64FR doesn't use frame hooks like a lot of bike racks, it uses padded clamps that you can rotate and adjust vertically to grasp the frame wherever you need to. view full answer...

The Econo Porch trailer Step with Handrail and Landing # EHS-103-R does fold. This unit folds laterally, in order to fold the steps you would have to detach 8 braces to allow the steps to fold. Then reattach these braces when you were ready to use the steps again. The handrail is also removable and interchangeable to either the right or left hand side.
For your reference I have included a photo showing these steps folded. view full answer...
