Since your 2017 Ram 3500 has an 8' bed the BAKFlip MX4 Hard Tonneau Cover # BAK48204 will be a quad-fold. Trucks that have a bed over 6' long will be quad-fold while trucks that have a bed under 6' long will be a tri-fold. I've sent an update to have the tri-fold part of our page corrected.
The part 448204 is the BAK part number while 48204 is the exact same thing on our end, we just add the BAK letters in front of it for our labeling.
