The channel on top of the truck toppers is compatible the vast majority of the time with Thule equipment as you mentioned. To add an Aeroblade Thule rack, you will want the Thule fit kit part # THKIT3101, the compatible feet # TH460R, and then crossbars like the old Thule AeroBlade or the newer WingBar Evo Load Bars - Aluminum - 60" # TH711520 or # TH711500.
I recommend using the Thule One-Key System Lock Cylinders - Qty 4 # TH450400 to secure your roof rack to your truck topper. view full answer...
Yes the Rhino-Rack Aero Bar Roof Rack for Camper Shells part # Y02-490B will allow for the slight contour of your truck topper. The track length is as you stated 63" so you have to have at least that amount but if you're slightly over you're in good shape. view full answer...

The GCH # 3460003 camera on third brake light frame would not be a good choice for your intended use. It is attached to a frame that matches the brake light and would not look good standing alone. The better choice is the RVS # WVOS541 wireless camera system. This system will not force you to run wires all the way to your inside truck dash. The small camera will connect to your truck topper and then to power. The monitor mounts to your windshield and simply plugs into your 12-volt outlet/lighter.... view full answer...
For truck bed toppers/camper shells we have ladder racks that were designed to attach to the roof of them like the TracRac CapRac part # TH29200XT but there isn't a way to attach a ladder rack that attaches to the top of truck bed rails like the # 3371501400 that you referenced.
I attached a picture of what the CarRac looks like installed on a camper shell for you to check out as well. view full answer...

If you want to be really cost-conscious you can skip the roof rack entirely and simply use one of our foam block type kayak carriers on your truck's topper. These are designed for transporting kayaks on vehicles that do not have a roof rack of any type. All such carriers can be seen on the linked page; one bargain-priced example is the Righline Gear # RL100K10.
Advantages of foam carriers include price (as stated) but also very light weight (which saves your topper's weight capacity for... view full answer...
The adjustable roof rack systems are a very popular option for fiberglass truck toppers. They will allow for you to carry a variety of different items such as a cargo box, kayak carrier, or in your case a cargo tray. The best system we have for this is the Rhino-Rack Roof Rack Track System part # Y02-480B. This kit includes a set of tracks, two crossbars, two mounting feet, and everything else you will need to install the system on your truck topper.
The reason I recommend this system... view full answer...
The track systems are all pretty much universal so you can use Yakima accessories in Thule tracks or vice versa. In regards to weight, you will be limited to 165 lbs per set of crossbars no matter which system you choose as that is all the mounting feet can handle, even with the Yakima HD Crossbars System. The vehicle's roof would likely not be able to handle much more than this either. However, you can carry up to 330 lbs total but you would need to distribute the weight so that 165 lbs... view full answer...
I do have a way that you can install aero bars on a truck bed topper or to the side rails of a truck bed but the Whispbar crossbars cannot be mounted this way.
Tracks can technically be mounted to just about anything that you are willing to drill into including the bed sides. You could use Rhino-Rack tracks such as # RTC14 which are 55 inches long with legs # RLTF (sold in pairs), and aero crossbars. The crossbars come in various lengths and I have included a link to them for you. The... view full answer...
Leer camper shell toppers will have at least base rails and sometimes roof racks with crossbars installed on them. If your Leer topper has crossbars already what you'd need for a cargo basket is the Curt part # C18115-117 which would fit directly to that.
If you have the tracks on the topper but no crossbars you'll also need the Thule Fit Kit # THKIT3101. Next, you would need the Thule Podium Foot Pack for Aero Bars # TH460R, and the final piece is the crossbars, the 60" Thule AeroBlade... view full answer...
Actually, the Rhino-Rack # Y01-140B-NT you'd looked at would be perfect. The kit includes 2 Rhino-Rack heavy duty crossbars, roof rack feet and the hardware necessary to attach the roof rack legs to the existing tracks on your ARE bed topper. The roof rack will have a 220 lb capacity once installed which could be limited by the weight capacity of the roof of your topper if it's less than 220 lbs. view full answer...
Based on the dimensions you have the Rhino-Rack Roof Rack System # Y02-490B that you referenced would fit and work well on your camper shell. The dynamic weight capacity of this rack is 220 lbs so it also wouldn't have a problem with a tent as long as your camper shell is also rated for the weight. view full answer...
It sounds like you are looking for a set of crossbars to mount within the track system on a Leer Truck Bed Topper and if that's the case we have some great options. I recommend the Rhino-Rack Roof Rack for Thule and Yakima Tracks part # Y01-140B-NT as our best option. The crossbar overhand would be required for the tracks.
The Rhino-Rack ROC25 Roof Rack part # RR58QR won't work, it's for drilling into a bare topper not one with tracks like what you have. There isn't anything similar like... view full answer...
There are several different ways to install a Rhino-Rack Pioneer Platform Rack on the roof of your truck bed topper. I recommend using the track system as this will work the best for your application. In order to install the Rhino-Rack Pioneer Platform Rack part # RR75TB you will also need to install a set of tracks such as the Rhino-Rack RTC-Style Roof Rack Tracks part # RTC14 and then legs # RLTP (x2).
The tracks once installed will give you a very versatile mounting system on the roof... view full answer...
