All of our generator slide out trays require removing the generator before using it. The reason that you cannot use the generator while it is in the MORryde RV Generator Slide Out Tray # MR69RR is because the tray only locks in the stored position. If you use the generator in the tray, it could potentially slide back into the storage compartment and cause CO2 to get into your RV. The purpose behind the MORryde RV Generator Slide Out Tray # MR69RR is to make getting your generator in and... view full answer...

No, the Hughes Autoformers Voltage Booster with Surge Protection # HU24FR will not work with your inverter generator. It is designed to be used with a pedestal at an RV park, not a generator.
We do not have a voltage booster that will work with a generator. But if you are wanting a surge protector that works with a generator you can use the Power Watchdog Surge Protector # HU27FR. One thing you will want to note is that some generators have a ‘floating neutral’. This could cause the Power... view full answer...
The difference between a generator that has an inverter, like part # 289-SUA2000i-2, and a generator that doesn't have an inverter, like part # 333-0004, is that the inverter makes it so that the generator can supply power for both AC and DC applications. Generators without the inverter can only supply AC power (like for typical household use). The inverter generators also tend to provide cleaner power and are a little lighter as well.
The generators with built-in inverters are extremely... view full answer...

For electronics like a TV, you definitely want an inverter generator. The reason for that is, inverter generator has - true to its name - an inverter block built in. What this does is regulator the amount of current that goes to your appliances.
For an inverter generator able to power your AC, a fridge, and TV, I highly recommend a 4,500 starting watt/3,500 running watt option from Champion, and there are options for gas and propane with an electric push-button start or just gas with... view full answer...

Generators do need to be run outdoors, so you would want to make sure you move the generator outdoors before use. If this does not end up working for you, you... view full answer...

It is possible that your Honda 2000 Generator is overloaded, but the only way to know for sure is to determine the wattage of each of the appliances plugged in. From my research your generator is rated for 2000 starting watts and 1600 running watts, so you will want to make sure you stay under that.
If you find you are overloading the generator you can possibly add another generator to run in parallel but you will need to confirm that the Honda generator your have can be used this way.

The Furrion Automatic Transfer Switch # F30ATS will automatically switch over to generator power when it's available but it would not auto start the generator itself. The automatic transfers switches that we currently offer will only automatically switch between power sources that are available, if the generator is off at the time shore power is lost then it won't sense power and switch over.
The ability to have the generator turn on automatically really depends on the generator itself... view full answer...
