As far as using an anti-rattle device with the 2" Hitch Cap Sensor for GMC Sierra MultiPro and Chevy Silverado Multi-Flex Tailgate # C56UR, it depends on what style of anti-rattle device you have. For example, if you have an anti-rattle hitch pin like the # 63232, these will not interfere with the # C56UR. However, while not specifically tested, if you have a harness-style anti-rattle device like the Pro Series Anti-Rattle Device for 2" x 2" Trailer Hitch Receivers # PS63091, these will... view full answer...
Hello again Mark. The Brophy Hitch Extender # HE06 does not have a threaded hitch pin hole. There is still an anti-rattle hitch pin you can use with it, which is the Anti-Rattle Trailer Hitch Receiver Lock # 63232. This lock comes with a block that is placed inside of the hollow shank of the hitch extender. This block is tapped and will accept the 5/8" threaded pin, so basically giving you the same anti-rattle capabilities as if the hitch extended did have a tapped hitch pin hole.

There aren't anti-rattle hitch pins for the Curt Multi-Ball Adjustable Ball Mount for 2" Trailer Hitches # D900 because anti-rattle pins are for hollow shank style mounts. There is an anti-rattle bolt on the # D900 mount, but if there is a lot of rattle in the hitch, there is an option to minimize it greatly with a clamp-style option:
- Roadmaster Quiet Hitch for 2" Trailer Hitches # RM-061
The # RM-061 will tighten the ball mount in the hitch and reduce any movement, which is going to... view full answer...
No, The etrailer Hitch Pin Alignment Collar # e98942 will does not work as an anti-rattle device. The Let's Go Aero # 63232 will work with The etrailer Hitch Pin Alignment Collar # e98942 (only for alligning the carrier) as long as your hitch mounted cargo tray has a hollow shank. The Aero anti rattle device pulls the shank against the inside wall of the hitch receiver using a spring block and tightened down bolt. This will not interfere at all with the etrailer collar. The Kuat Transfer 1 # KU64FR comes with the anti-rattle bolt and a cable lock. This way you gain a lock and keep your anti-rattle device.
The Kuat Transfer 1 fits your Highlander's 2 inch hitch out of the box with the included adapter. The below video is a great resource showing how the anti-rattle bolt can reduce hitch movement and rattle. view full answer...
The Curt # C18153 doesn't have a threaded insert for an anti-rattle hitch bolt, but that does not mean that there aren't anti-rattle options available.
For a locking hitch pin with an integrated anti-rattle feature, I'd recommend the # 63232. Another option would be a locking hitch pin like part # e98882 and a separate anti-rattle device like # RM-061.
Both options are pretty effective, but I'd lean toward the # 63232 because it's going to be easier to install and remove. I've linked... view full answer...
There are several anti-rattle devices that would be good to use when towing. The construction of your ball mount will determine the best choice for your application.
If your ball mount is hollow, and you have a 2-inch receiver hitch, then I would recommend the
Softride Anti-Rattle Device and Lock for 2-inch Trailer Hitches, item # SR25219. This anti rattle device also includes a lock to secure the ball mount to the vehicle.
If your ball mount is solid, and you have a 2-inch receiver... view full answer...

These are both great options that will help secure your accessories inside the receiver reducing rattle, I recommend the Gen-Y Iron Grip Anti-Rattle Hitch Pin since it doubles as a lock. The Thule Snug Tite Hitch Lock and Anti-Rattle Device, # THSTL2, can only be used on Thule brand bike racks.
Most bike rack manufacturers will only design the hitch locks to only fit their products. The threads are unique to the manufacturers bike racks.
I also have a Softride Anti-Rattle Device and Lock, # SR25219, which is a universal lock and a anti-rattle device, for 2 inch hitches or the Trailer Hitch Anti-Rattle Kit for 1-1/4" Trailer Hitches, # F-315. These anti-rattle devices... view full answer...

It seems that the person you spoke with is confused. A stabilization strap and an anti-rattle bolt do not serve the same purpose. A stabilization strap helps support the non-trailer load on the hitch, while an anti-rattle bolt helps to eliminate the rattle or wobble of the shank in the trailer hitch.
Per Curt's warranty, the # 18050 stabilization straps need to be used with all non-trailer loads. I spoke with my contact in Curt's technical department who confirmed that the stabilization... view full answer...
To reduce rattle and noise in your hitch cover, I recommend using an anti-rattle hitch pin like the Let's Go Aero Anti-Rattle Trailer Hitch Receiver Lock for 2" Hitches - 2-5/8" Span, # 63232. The foam silencers will wear down and still leave you with vibration noise. The anti-rattle hitch pin will secure the side of the cover to your hitch and eliminate the movement. I recommend using the Foam Gasket for AMG Hitch Covers # AMG-FM and the anti rattle pin with lock # 63232 to eliminate... view full answer...
We do have a potential option for you, but the Curt Anti-Rattle Hitch Clamp # C87UR is likely not going to work with your setup. I think you are exactly right in that there is really no room between the receiver and the hitch. So there is really nowhere for the Anti-Rattle Clamp to go.
If you are in need of an anti-rattle device that will work with the B&W Tow & Stow 2-Ball Mount Compatible with GM MultiPro Tailgate I recommend the XL Anti-Rattle Trailer Hitch Receiver Lock # SHP2040-XL.... view full answer...

I contacted Curt on your behalf regarding the Curt Anti-Rattle Kit for 2" Trailer Hitches # C22321. You can definitely tow with this anti-rattle pin kit. Hitch pins overall are not weight rated and the majority of the tongue weight and towing weight is not directly on the hitch pin. There will be no capacity concern using this threaded hitch pin with anti-rattle on a 2 inch hitch receiver with the exception of any solid shank accessory. view full answer...
It sounds like you would like to know the difference between an anti-rattle locking pin like part # 63232 and an U-bolt style anti-rattle like part # RM-061 and to be honest they both work well. However, the anti-rattle locking pin does require an accessory with a hollow shank or a ball mount with a hollow shank for the components of the pin to fit inside properly. An anti-rattle locking pin does help take away the rattling you may hear with an accessory or ball mount inside the hitch by... view full answer...
There isn't an anti-rattle locking hitch pin that works with a solid ball mount or other hitch accessory. You can use a regular hitch lock and then an anti-rattle device separately. For a lock for a 2 inch Class III trailer hitch you can use # e98880.
For an anti-rattle device you can use # RM-061 which reduces movement vertically. Or you could use # BX88224 which reduces movement vertically and horizontally. I have linked videos of both devices for you. view full answer...
We do have a potential option for you, but the threaded block assembly # SHP2061 that you mentioned is not going to work for this purpose. If you are in need of an anti rattle device for this setup we recommend taking a look at the Malone Anti-Rattle HitchLock System # MPG908. This is a u-bolt style anti rattle device that is made to work with both 1-1/4" and 2" hitches. It will help to stabilize your bike rack in the hitch an eliminate any unwanted movement. There is a hitch lock as well as an anti-rattle device available for your Roadmaster Dual Hitch Receiver Adapter # RM-077-4 but because it has a solid shank, there isn't an anti-rattle hitch lock, as solid shanks prevent the use of an anti-rattle lock. So you will need to get the lock and anti-rattle separately, and this will serve the same function of locking the adapter and preventing rattle; what you will need is the following:
- etrailer Trailer Hitch Receiver Lock # e98880
- Roadmaster... view full answer...
