Most RV fresh water tanks have to be gravity or hand pump fed and cannot be filled using an electric pump. That is because they are designed as a low pressure application.
You can either take the hose straight to the water inlet or you can use a hand pump like the Valterra Antifreeze Hand Pump with City Water Connection Hose for RV Winterizing # P23507VP. While this pump is meant for winterizing your RV, it could be used for water to transfer water from a container to your fresh water tank. view full answer...

RV Fresh-Water Fill Spout # CAM37102 is a replacement spout that is designed for fresh water input from a hose. But you are right that it does not thread in. This is the case with all of the replacement fresh water spouts we carry. The hose would have to be held in with friction or be physically held by hand.
For sewer hose with swivel fittings and 4 in 1 adapter (depending on what the dump station requires) you can use # CAM39761. view full answer...
The water leaking is normal its your overflow which means that your fresh tank is now full. If you install a valve on the overflow then it needs to be open when filling and when using or else the tank could explode. It could also be that your check valve went bad. The Valterra Check Valve for RV Fresh Water Systems # P23415LFVP has dual 1/2 inch MPT. I did some checking on the AquaFresh Exterior RV Water Filter Kit part # A01-1131VP and the micro rating is 20. The water filter kit reduces chlorine, sediment, and bacterial all while improving the taste and odor of your fresh water supply. The filter will need to be replaced when your water flow deceases as that is a sign that the filter is full. The AquaFresh Exterior RV Water Filter part # A01-1132VP can be used for this.

Unfortunately having your RV information does not tell me what fresh water pump that you have or if the HydroMax RV Fresh Water Pump # P25201 would be the correct replacement.
However, I can tell you that the HydroMax RV Fresh Water Pump # P25201 is a direct replacement for a 3-gallon-per-minute, 12-volt pump and uses 1/2" diameter hose. This pump will almost certainly work as a replacement, but whether it is a direct replacement depends on what you currently have.

The arrow on the RV Check Valve for Fresh Water Systems # 37262195 is confusing but it actually shows the direction the water WON'T flow and not the direction it does flow. The Flow Max RV Fresh Water Pump part # LC689052 is our best replacement option for a Shurflow RV Fresh Water Pump 2088-422-174. The specs are very similar (2.9 GPM Vs. 3.0 GPM) so this will be an excellent choice. In regards to specs alone it would be a direct replacement but you will need to attach a few wires and possibly drill new holes for mounting but nothing too crazy or that you wouldn't have to do for any other pump. The new pump comes with fittings which require 1/2" hoses so... view full answer...
