Most RV fresh water tanks have to be gravity or hand pump fed and cannot be filled using an electric pump. That is because they are designed as a low pressure application.
You can either take the hose straight to the water inlet or you can use a hand pump like the Valterra Antifreeze Hand Pump with City Water Connection Hose for RV Winterizing # P23507VP. While this pump is meant for winterizing your RV, it could be used for water to transfer water from a container to your fresh water tank. view full answer...
You could use the Valterra RV Water Tank - Non-Toxic - ABS Plastic - 60" x 8" x 16" - 30 Gallons # R8060 on a system with a hand pump, but not an electric water pump. At this time we do not have a water tank available that can be used with an electric water pump. view full answer...
I have a great solution for you. Unfortunately, we do not carry any a 12v or 110v system, but we do carry drill-free options. To use your current RV water lines to transfer anti-freeze, that is the Valterra Water Pump Conversion Kit for RV Winterizing # P23506LFVP. With this option, the 3-way valve permanently connects to your RV's water pump to transfer anti-freeze throughout the water lines.
If you are looking for a hand-pump option, that is the Valterra Antifreeze Hand Pump with City... view full answer...
Yes, you can use the Seaflo Submersible Utility Pump for Boats and RVs # SE54FR to pump already hot water.
The only discrepancy is that you do not pump water that is warmer than 140°F, or below 0°F. view full answer...
Sounds like your water pump lost it's prime since you ran it dry. I can help you try priming the system with the steps below. If that doesn't help you may have a blockage or need a new pump.
Fill up your fresh water tank.
Turn on the cold water in your RV and make sure the faucets are completely open.
Switch on the water pump near your RV water tank.
This should prime the pump by pushing water up from the tank through your faucet. Let the water flow a while, then turn the faucets off.... view full answer...
RV water pumps like the Seaflo Diaphragm Pump for Boats and RVs # SE24FR pressurize your trailer's plumbing up to their specific psi rating and kick on when the psi starts to drop. With you only having a 4 gallon tank you would quickly blow through the water in it with a pump so the # SE24FR is a bit overkill for your needs.
I recommend going with a lower psi and GPM model unit like the Seaflo Diaphragm Pump for Boats and RVs - Variable Flow - 1.2 GPM - 35 psi - 12V DC # SE37FR. This... view full answer...
The Clearsource Nomad RV Water Filter System w/ VirusGuard # CS67FR is currently not able to be run with the pump turned off. I spoke with the manufacturer and they have a newer Nomad model that has a bypass hookup that will allow this but it is not currently on the market yet. view full answer...

Yes, you can replace your Shurflo 2090-404-144 with the HydroMax RV Fresh Water Pump # P25201.
Both are 3 gallon per minute, 12 volt water pumps; this is a 2-wire design with power and ground wires; just keep in mind it does require a 15 amp fuse.

The Flow Max RV Fresh Water Pump # LC689052 that you referenced uses standard water line connections like what your trailer has currently so it will install easily. I attached a picture of what the connection fittings look like as well. view full answer...
To know the recommended max distance you would need to look at your water pump's manual to know what your pump's discharge rating is and how big your pipe is to determine the water pressure. If you're wanting to know about distance from the water pump and the tank then there should also be specs in the pump manual for that as well.
The distance horizontally is not as important between the pump and the tank but the difference in height between the pump and tank (lift) should be kept small... view full answer...

The duty cycle is simply the amount of time that the water pump will run and not run over the course of the day. Some water pumps operate continuously and therefore put a drain on your battery. For the Flow Max RV Fresh Water Pump # LC689054 it will run for 5 minutes and then rest for 10 minutes to help maintain water pressure in your RV. view full answer...

The Artis water pump you have has a 40 psi and 3.0gpm rating so the HydroMax RV Fresh Water Pump (3.0gpm / 55psi) # P25201 would be a bit higher psi but would still be an acceptable replacement. If you wanted something a bit closer to your psi level then you could go with the Seaflo Diaphragm Pump for Boats and RVs # SE58FR, which has a 45 psi rating. view full answer...
Thanks for the question, I have some information for you below:
**Flow Max RV Fresh Water Pump - 12 Volt - 3.0 Gallons Per Minute - 50 PSI # LC689052.
Yes, the flow max pump is an exact replacement for your system.
I advise you do not upgrade your pump without upgrading other components of your plumbing. The only way to increase flow rate in the same size piping is increase pressure. Your system is designed to run at a certain psi and if you add a larger pump you run the risk of creating... view full answer...
When connecting to city water that is pressurized you do need to bypass the water pump like part # P25201 that you referenced. To do that you can use a diverter like part # P23401LF. This would install after the water pump and as long as you switch it to the correct position it will allow you to have city water pressure without it backflowing to the water pump outlet. view full answer...
The HydroMax RV Fresh Water Pump part # P25201 is not designed to attach directly to a garden hose but rather a hose with blunt cut end. If you prefer a threaded connection then you would want to use the Valterra RV Pump Kit part # P23512PB but as far as any adapter goes we do not offer this though I am sure one could be obtained locally at a home improvement store.
If you were to cut off the female end of the Camco RV Drinking Water Hose part # CAM22733 you could then attach this directly... view full answer...
