I have a strap solution for you, but it doesn't look like straps used to secure a boat on a cart like the Malone NomadTRX Standard Kayak Cart # MAL88FR are replaceable so I recommend using standard cinch straps instead. The Thule Load Strap Cinch Straps Kit # TH521 will do a great job, you just have to wrap the strap around the frame of the cart so it doesn't slide off.

As far as the mounting style on the Thule JawGrip # TH73NV, it comes with bolts that go into top crossbar channels. This is because it is a channel-mount style. It is important to note that if you have square crossbars, you need the additional adapter # TH34FR94BT. Good question, and in regards to the width of the Thule Hullavator Pro # TH898, it is 36 inches, though its mounting takes up crossbar space of only 28-1/2 inches because a portion of it will be over the edge of the crossbar (see the accompanying photo for an example of this).

First, you'll need a roof rack for your 2021 Toyota Rav 4. If you already have factory crossbars then you should just get the Malone Pads # MPG314 and our strap kit # e36ZR. I like the pads for larger kayaks since you won't have to worry about angling it up.
