19x60 Curt Cargo Carrier for 2" Hitches - Aluminum - Folding - 500 lbs
I had a steel cargo carrier that I used often in the past but it was heavy and hard to put on at times. Most aluminum ones I saw were smaller...this one is the same size as my prior steel one and much lighter. Capacity close to what my hitch can hold. Its easy to put on. Fits my honda crv very well. Won't rust. Has nice holes for bungee chords or ratcheting tie downs. I used it to haul garbage cans full of yard debris. Will use it when travelling with friends to carry suit cases or cooler etc. Plan to get a waterproof bag or shell to put them in and tie to carrier.
Quick delivery. Easy to assemble. Perfect for my application on a 5th wheel.

24x27 TorkLift Lock and Load Maximum Security Cargo Tray for 2" Hitches 500 lbs
etrailer never disappoints. Shipping was fast and TorkLift is just as I expected. It went together very easily and feels sturdy and safe to care my generator on while traveling about the country.
This is a great cargo tray for my Champion 3500 inverter/generator. I mounted the tray to the front hitch of my truck. I also built a custom aluminum/stainless steel generator box that encapsulated the generator while fitting into the tray. Basically a bottomless gen box. The generator is locked into place by the cargo tray's lock bars and by the generator box itself. This allows me to run the generator in the rain or snow, and it dampens the generator's noise too.

Rhino-Rack Roof Mounted Steel Cargo Basket - 57" Long x 42" Wide - 165 lbs
Love it! It's big enough to fit a bike carrier and a cargo bag on top of my MINI. Easy to assemble and install, solid construction. Great value for your money. If I have a gripe it's that the wind fairing on the front is VERY thin/fragile. I caught it with my bike tire when loading one day and the corner snapped right off like nothing. It's only about $XXX for the replacement.
This rack is sturdy and it was easy to install by myself. I like the mounting hardware and everything is snug. Finish is powder-coat and seems very durable.

Ultra-Fab Dirt Bike Carrier for 2" Hitches - With Ramp - 77" Long - 500 lbs
The carrier was straightforward and easy to assemble. I have a 300lb. TW 200. The first time i ran it up the ramp, I used the motor and first gear. It took of bit of trial and error, but I finally got the placement on the "pins" where the front wheel drops in correctly. After that, the ramp was shallow enough where I just put the bike in "N" and ran her up and down a few times. I like the ramp. I really do...I just wish it was a BIT beefier. Some of the gravel, rutted, backwoods roads I take to ride might throw the bike around pretty good. I used thread lock where needed.
Sweet! Super easy to build and light enough to handle. I have to get a run at it because my truck is lifted and my hitch is high. I might build an extended ramp that will allow a shallower pitch for loading. Just a tip...figure out pin location by loading bike on the rack with it on the ground instead of trying to do it on vehicle the first time. In addition to load straps I also use large Velcro straps with built in carabineers on rims. I also use a anti sway U-bolt and plate to tighten rack to receiver hitch, that keeps everything pretty stable. Awesome product guys, thanks

32x48 Reese Steel Solo Cargo Carrier and Folding Ramp for 2" Hitches - 400 lbs
Like other people say “ we need to do some work to secure the base” also the O ring by the lock is really fragile” Very heavy and this is a 2 people work to connect to your hitch. Made in CHINA I will drill another hole to the other side of the bracket to make sure is safe when You drive bumpy roads.
Like some of the previous reader comments, I would agree that two of the bolts simply do not work as given because the carrier's mesh base interferes when trying to tighten the screws (see image of bolt hole). I had to purchase 2 replacement bolts that had a flat edge by the bolt head (see image of two bolts - 3/8" original on top and replacement on bottom). Once they are in, though, things look pretty good. The reflective tape is angled and does seem flimsy but I purchased some new tape at the local Home Depot. One other item to note is that the pull pin does not do a good job of engaging with the clip. It seems to me as though a bungee cord or strap would be used to hold the ramp in place so that it doesn't fall down because you really can't rely on the pin. I haven't had a chance to take it on the road yet but I did connect it to my vehicle's hitch, loaded my snow thrower, and it seems to be a good purchase so far.

24x60 Curt Cargo Carrier for 2" Hitches - Steel - 500 lbs
Very pleased, easy to assemble and seems very sturdy,it's got plenty of room and I like that it has rails around it.I highly recommend getting the etrailer anti rattle stabilizer too,it really tightens it up.
OUTSTANDING in every way! As a disabled veteran I was looking for a way to carry my snow blower and lawnmower with my 2020 Grand Cherokee to work and assist others outside my home. I found the etrailer website while surfing and their site offered more information and carrier sizes to chose from. The purchase process was easy and etrailer communicated with me every step after the purchase until delivery. It took about 30 minutes to assemble in my living room and the carrier is sturdy, easy to install and just what I was looking for. etrailer is the bench mark for businesses to model. Thank You

32x48 Reese Solo Cargo Carrier for 2" Hitches - Steel - 400 lbs
I only gave an average rating because the carrier was not easy to assemble without slight modification. The bolt holes for assembly were blocked by the steel mesh. I cut the mesh that covered several of the holes with a rotary disc cutter.
1 Year followup review. product overall is excellent. Due to its size it is a little heavy. The flooring is a little lightweight- don't plan on stepping on it if you are 200# as it will flex. Great size for full-size snowblower or other larger items. Seems to take 300# without a problem. I flipped the tongue piece over to lower the unit and make getting snowblower up easier.

23x59 Stromberg Carlson Cargo Carrier for 2" Hitches - Steel - 500 lbs
A good size and very strong. I like the fact that it has a grated bottom, as opposed to a few bars like many of its competitors. There are many holes and notches present for any customization desired. Also makes for a great chair to relax. I also ordered the anti-rattle pin so as to fasten this tightly to the hitch. IMO that should be included with any of these trailer-hitch-Mount accessories.
This is a nice, versatile carrier; however, we did take it to a welder to strengthen the expanded metal platform a bit based on how we thought we would be using it. We also added reflective tape, and added bicycle mounts for 2 bikes (Thule Low Rider Bike Mounts). We've used it to carry wood, camping equipment, and our foldable kayak + accessories cross-country, to take our bikes out for bike rides in areas away from the house. So, for the price, it's a decent carrier; with a few modifications, we are pretty happy with it overall.

Curt Roof Mounted Cargo Basket - 41-1/2" Long x 37" Wide x 4" Deep - 150 lbs
I am very pleased with the quality for the price.Just the right size for my 2017 Chevy Trax.the "U" bolts that are used to clamp the basket to the roof cross bars were a bit long so I cut them shorter & installed rubber caps on top of each stud. This keeps the studs from damaging items in the bssket.See pictures.
Works great, but takes some slight modification if you don’t want the bolts to poke through anything you have stored up there. Could be less of a problem depending on the cross bars you use, but I bought Curt’s cross bars and the bolts stick up pretty far.

Rhino-Rack Roof Mounted Steel Cargo Basket - 47" Long x 35" Wide - 165 lbs
Greetings, I am giving these items 3? Because I was offered alternative products that did not fit together. Originally, I intended to purchase a roof rack cargo basket type and a spare tire holder from Yakima manufacturer that go well together, but one of them wasn’t in stock. So, after 3 weeks waiting time, I was offered alternative items via etrailer website, and I accepted them…after all, they are the experts. I got the recommended items through UPS, then I assembled them by myself. The roof rack cargo basket fit well on my car, but the spare tire holder was not compatible with the roof rack cargo basket. They couldn’t be assembled together. I submitted my claim to return the spare tire holder. Now, I have not achieved my goal to carry my spare tire. Understanding the needs and expectations of your customers is critical to maximize customer satisfaction. I am sure both products are good, but they are not compatible together, even though they were manufactured by the same company. Distributors should know better! I returned one item and I hope to be refunded.
It was a breeze to install on my 2018 Ford Explorer. Two reasons why I bought this. #1 the price for the size of the rack #2 The ability to adjust the universal mounting brackets from front to back or length wise. I had tried another brand rack but the mounting brackets were from side to side and did not line up with my fixed cross bars. I used silicone to seal all the connection points. I have not seen any rust as of yet. I like it so much that I might sell this one locally and upgrade to next size up.I've had compliments on the appearance also. with the plus up sized tires and the rack. It has given the Explorer a sportier look. I definitely would recommend this rack to anyone.

20x59 Curt Cargo Carrier for 2" Hitches - Steel - Folding - 500 lbs
This carrier was super easy to assemble. It is a bit heavy but I was able to mount it onto my hitch alone. I’m using an anti-rattle lock and they work great together.
Easy installation and solid build! We assembled the cargo carrier and installed the hitch very easily! Took it on a trip and it did great, we love it. Thanks so much etrailer!

Yakima MegaWarrior Large Roof Rack Cargo Basket - Steel - 52" Long x 48" Wide
Took a few months to get because covid-19 slowed production but worth the wait. It's awsome
The MegaWarrior is a great Roof Rack. The only thing I didn’t like was the fit to the roof rails. My rails that I purchased from you are shaped like aircraft wings and the basket clamps seem to be designed for round rails. However I was able to complete the attachment and the rack remained secure for a 2,000 mile trip.

17x46 Curt Cargo Carrier for 1-1/4" and 2" Hitches - Steel - 500 lbs
On the one hand, now that its assembled, seems good. On the other hand, took about 30 minutes with an angle grinder to get it to go together. I dunno if it was a dud or something, but both the cross pieces (the vertical tubes that connect the upper and lower frames) had the tabs which bolt to the cross tubes welded too short. This prevented the parts from being assembled within tolerance. The tabs were welded at least 1/8" too short. I checked multiple orientations and combinations and couldn't get it to go. I ground the vertical tube about 1/8" shorter until everything fit together. I'm stubborn and have a lot of power tools, so I didn't return this, but otherwise I would have had to.
All in all a good cargo carrier. I'm happy that every single fastener used a nylon lock nut. I'm using the 1 1/4" hitch. The one thing If I was using a 2", I'd be disappointed by the plastic receiver adapter. Maybe it works fine, but I'd have my doubts. The car is a Chevy Bolt EV, using the beefy and highly recommended Draw-Tite hitch. Don't bother with any other hitch, they bend or are insane to install. My only issue is that, unsurprisingly, it rides low, and scrapes when I leave my driveway, and it's not even that bad a driveway. One nice thing with the electric is that there's no hot exhaust to melt your cargo! The range / fuel economy hit is almost certainly better than a roof box, and it's way more accessible.

Yakima MegaWarrior Extra Large Roof Rack Cargo Basket - Steel - 74" Long x 48" Wide
Roof rack arrived dented and scratched which complicated the installation because I had to hammer out dents to get the pipes to fit. Apart from that, the paint/coating scratches off fairly easily and the installation design is pretty awful. Instead of threading the pipe to accept screws they have this complicated plastic gasket mechanism which takes forever to align. I expected more from Yakima and for the price. Quick delivery from etrailer and good fit overall-- just need to wait and see about rust.
Initial quality was excellent and assembly a snap. Finding a roof basket that wouldn't look like a tiny hat on a Jeep Commander was difficult, but the MegaWarrior is perfect! Assembly and mounting took less than an hour and it looks great. Now it just needs to be outfitted with a set of off-road lights. ;-)

24x48-3/4 Carpod Walled, Folding Cargo Carrier - 2" Hitches - w/ Lid, Bag, Rise Shank - 450 lbs
It is a great cargo carrier. After one use in which it rained, parts of it immediately got surface rust on exposed metal. Not terrible issues, but both a bit annoying. Also, the bag is not waterproof. I feel like with a properly waterproofed bag and a better finish, it would be perfect. But, still, it is a very nice cargo carrier and I highly recommend it. It is especially convenient how it (a) is elevated and (b) how it folds up easily.
Worked great on our family road trip! We were able to throw our sandy gear in it to keep the Bronco clean and prevented us from having to pile junk up in the backseat next to the kiddo. When it rained we used the bag, which kept everything dry. By locking the lid, we felt comfortable leaving the vehicle and our stuff unattended. It blocked our license plate, but was easy to mount the license plate to the pod so it was visible.

GearDeck 17 Enclosed Cargo Carrier for 2" Hitches - Slide Out - 17 cu ft - 300 lbs - Black
etrailer's website was very helpful. After my online order, I received an order confirmation which was almost immediately followed by a tracking #. Just a few days later, the box arrived UPS (3 days earlier than the expected delivery date). I would definitely order from etrailer again! I chose this product after reading the reviews and found most of the reviews to be accurate. It was the only cargo carrier I found that seemed to meet my needs (carrying a 9.8 hp outboard motor, takacat 340lx inflatable boat, outboard motor dolly, and fuel tank). I liked the front opening which allows easy access and I would not have to lift the 90 lb motor up and out/in. The instructions were good. I assembled and installed the carrier with ease (It did not require 2 people). I was missing the following parts: 4-EE bolts 4-FF washers 4-GG washers 4-JJ lock nuts 2-NN lock nuts 2-MM washers 2-KK screws 1-Hole for tail light not drilled 4-AA Drain Plugs are too small for the holes in the pan Overall, I believe the carrier will achieve the goal. Thus far, I would give etrailer an excellent rating. Lets Go Aero however, I would rate as Average due to the missing parts, hole not drilled for one of the light mounts, and the drain plugs being too small for the holes in the pan. I do love the design! I will be adding a cable/lock for the motor/boat which will be fairly easy.
The GearDeck meets our needs perfectly. After extensive research, here are the key points for me (I had recent back surgery). 1. The door hinges at the top and is open to the floor. 2. Large capacity. 3. Plenty of clearance when traveling. 4. The cargo carrier slides back so I can easily wash the windows. 5. It was a little pricey compared to other units; however, well worth it. 6. It looks good as an accessory on our Montana fifth wheel. This is a good quality product and I have received many positive comments.

16x21 TorkLift Lock and Load SideKick Cargo Tray for 2" Hitches - 200 lbs
The product came in a timely manner and everything went together perfectly. I’m using the tray to carry a Champion 2000 dual fuel inverter generator (see picture) and also purchased the Yakima swing hitch to incorporate in the set up. The generator is being used to power a portable 200 square foot Hisense A/C. I ran the truck down the highway and everything is solid. The only complaint I have is that there was a minor 1” mar inside the tray probably caused by other parts rubbing against the tray during shipping but wasn’t that big a deal to knock the rating down to 4 stars.
A few suggestions for TL: Some of the parts appear to be useful only when using the Sidekick with a Spacedock on a Palomino truck camper bumper. It's a waste to include them for those of us with different applications. The ability to mount the license plate bracket included with the Ecohitch front hitch would be nice. A visual indicator such as the one included on the larger Lock and Load would be nice in order to avoid collisions. A way to keep the adjustable strap from dropping to the ground when removing the top bar would be also be nice. The rattle from the lock is horrible with the generator running in place. The Etrailer trick helps, but TL should do something about this. If you unlock the unit to avoid the rattle and make refueling easier, the generator can walk around until the exhaust begins burning the paint on the fixed strap. I may be fashioning a way to corral the generator feet to avoid this.

Yakima LoadWarrior Roof Rack Cargo Basket - Steel - 44" Long x 39" Wide
Well done Yakima and etrailer. Great product and great service. The product is well made (in Taiwan....not China) and the parts and instruction video made it relatively" easy to install. Two people helps to install it more readily. The wind diffuser in the front greatly reduces wind noise. All in all very happy and glad I bought through etrailer. Service was excellent and delivery prompt.

Curt Roof Mounted Cargo Basket - 62-1/2" Long x 37" Wide x 4" Deep - 150 lbs
Great rack for the price and one of the biggest available. This holds everything we need for when we go overlanding including a 10x10 pop up tent. The basket was perfect to mount lights and other items to. I have had no issues with it over the past year and never had to tighten any of the hardware despite the 100s of off road miles. 2 items that I need to address otherwise this would be perfect. Many of the welds have started to show rust after a first rain storm suggesting paint from the manufacturing process did not cover everything. Currently cosmetic and not structural. Second item to note are the mounts these are very secure but take time to install other review suggest cutting the bolts to not interfere with items in the basket but I would cut them down aid in time needed to install the basket on your vehicles roof rack. Overall great basket and happy with my purchase.
I love the rack and the extended length is great on my Sequoia. I am disappointed with the finish on it as the connector plates are already showing signs of rust….. I like it enough that I’m going to repaint it with something more suited to our climate…
What our customers are saying:
"I received my cargo carrier today. I ordered the 52018 and I just put it together and put it on my 1996 Land Rover Discovery. I must say, the fit and finish is AWESOME! I slid it into the trailer hitch receiver and then stood on the center beam and the carrier acted as if I weren't there. I can now take my family of five to Florida in our new Land Rover and carry all of our luggage and SCUBA gear. Thanks for the great product at a great price and with great service."
