Perfect replacement lid for fan-tastic vent 2000DMS older model on 2005 class-c mtrh...exactly the same. 4 screw installation and the hole patern same. Easy install 30 minutes.
Perfect fit for 2016 Airstream and easy 10 min to install.
My parts manual listed Airstream part number 381841. Fan itself was Atwood 8017A-03. This cover fit. Mounting holes lined up perfectly.
I am very happy that you have the replacement parts I need that match my original parts. The wind storm ripped mine off my roof and broke my lift arm. I Am Very Happy With The Quality. I will be ordering roof vent replacement seals for the lid cover for my other three vents.i will send pictures as soon as the weather lets me get on my roof...
Great fit- exactly as original- package arrived late,beat up,because shipped from Missouri- then went to Boston then made way down to Florida- *but contents were not damaged.
The screw holes for the metal slide are very week. The last ones broke from wind while closed. This new one I'm going to re in force with flex glue prior to installation. The design is obviously flawed,as this is the 3rd one of these that have failed. My 5th wheel is a 2018 Fox Mountain, so it's not that old.
They were the perfect replacement..

The item worked but I needed to make an adjustment so it would fit my Roadtrek fan. The comments section gave me the help that I needed to do that. Lori was friendly and helpful when I called. That is always a plus when dealing with customer service.
The dome is too lightweight for the Az.sun The factory lid that came with our Fantastic fan fell apart, this one will too. Hope to get at least 3 years out of it by installing a cover over it.
I bought this vent cover because the plastic tabs that hold the slider for the lifting mechanism had broken off my old cover. I tried gluing them on but that only lasted less then a year and they broke again. I was glad to see the replacement unit had reinforced tabs that looked much stronger than the original. Also, the hinge holes matched the original so I only had to remove the screws on the old hinge and replace the cover, I wish the new cover came with new screws as the old screws were corroded and I had to find suitable replacements. After the installation the cover would not close all the way. After fiddling around with it, I discovered that the tabs on the new unit where the lifting mechanism attaches are offset from the original, so the lifting mechanism was binding, and not allowing the cover to close. I made some 9/16" spacers from some tubing I had in the garage along with some longer mounding screws and that solved the problem. I don't know if all Fan-Tastic vents are the same, so I cannot say if this will be a problem for everyone. See photos

I apologize that his is late. I purchased and installed the product while vacationing in Maine in 2019. It seemed to work completely fine for the remainder of the time and returning to Texas. We didn't get to use it during 2020, because of the "virus". By the Summer of 2021, something else started going awry with another part in the vent system, but I never had an opportunity to trouble shoot it because we got rear ended on an Interstate Hwy in VA, and the RV trailer it was mounted on was totaled.

Its been more than two years, now going on 4, actually! As I stated in the accompanying paragraph above, I no longer own the unit. The RV trailer the product was installed on, was rear ended and totaled in 2021.
Covers and arms delivered timely and the video for installation was spot on. The parts tech was knowledgeable and very helpful and the prices were very fair.

Im incredibly satisfied with the replacement vent. Zero problems. And the best thing about is that now I always remember to lower the vent before driving into the garage.
The product is only average as the last one broke on the first use and without a receipt Dometic would do nothing.
The right product. Simple & easy to install, a good fit for the fantastic fan.

Replacement smoke colored vent cover for Ventline old-style rounded dome trailer roof vents.My experience with etrailer could not have been better. Their online catalog had very good pictures and product description, so I was confident the I was ordering the right item for my application. Pricing was competitive. George J emailed me after I placed the order to let me know he upgraded my shipping so I could get the product sooner. The vent covers came well packaged and undamaged. Now I need to install them on my vintage 1964 Airstream Overlander, which I bought several years ago and rehabilitated. The white plastic vent covers I installed several years ago became brittle and crumbled. I hope the smoke colored ones I bought from etrailer will last a bit longer, but the price was so fair I bought an extra pair for the next time.

Quick simple fix to replace a vent cover lost to the weather. Installation took less than 5 minutes, product fits like the original. William B. made finding and ordering the right part a breeze.
I have a 16ft 1972 Brougham travel trailer,and my old vent lid disintegrated.I wasn't sure which vent lid to get.I measured the square hole on the roof and it is 13 inches square. I also needed to be sure of the hinge.The hinge portion on the vent cover is 9 inches.After I removed the screws from the vent lid raising mechanism, and disconnected it from the vent lid rail,I went up top,and opened up one side of the rolled metal hinge.Then the roof vent lid slides off to one side.Then you just slide the new roof vent lid onto the hinge,and bend down the tab to secure it.You then reattach the mechanism inside the trailer.Its actually very easy to do,with just a Phillips and straight slot screwdriver. I attached photos of what remained after my lid was blown off completely which shows the hinge and lifting rail that come with a new roof vent cover attached.I also showed a close up of the hinge and the little tab that is bent in on both sides to keep the lid from sliding sideways. Finally I have pics of the new lid installed.I was happy with this product,and didn't realize you could just replace the vent lid so easily.
Great quality part that fits great. This cover lets in more light than the original one on my Rockwood trailer which I like. Install was easy after watching the video on Etrailer.
I bought a new set of the smoke vent covers to replace the same vent covers purchased 8 years ago. Trailer has been sitting for 4 years and didn't want to have a problem with them on our trip next week, so I purchased these as preventative maintenance since the trailer has been sitting in the sun for all of that time. For some reason the smoke covers have had a considerably longer life compared to the white ones which for me only lasted 2 years. Standard shipping was fast, and the vent covers were well packaged. Will buy from etrailer again!
The vent cover is a quality replacement almost identical to the OEM on 2018 Windjammer. The OEM had severe ultraviolet deterioration and had a crack in the top center area and a possible hail damage on an outer edge outside of the seal. Had not leaked inside yet! We will see if this one will last any longer than the OEM’s 3 - 4 years.

I have an older Car Mate car trailer. The roofvent was very bad. I wasn’t sure about being able to get an exact replacement. Measurements were the same, so I ordered one. It arrived within a few days. I was able to install it in a few minutes. The crank open still works great and no more leaks. Replaced two weather beaten, cracked vents. Easy installation just follow the directions. Took about 10 minutes each looks better then the old white ones.
Cover is Great. Had to replace mine because if hail storm damage. The included instructions made it very easy to install in 10 minutes and it looks great on my trailer.

The storm broke two of my vent covers. More storms were forecasted for later this week. I tried the old favorite, duct tape, to no avail. They still leaked. We found the replacement online at eTrailer. One phone call is all it took to receive a shipment of vent covers. I even discussed with eTrailer on the phone to make sure these were the correct vent covers for my older trailer. In two days! I received the vent covers at the campground. A few hours later they were installed and the storm that night tore up the awning, but not a drop from the ceiling vents. P.S. Does eTrailer carry awning parts?

Purchased this vent replacement a year ago and it’s working great and holding up to the weather.
I will faithfully give your Company my business I just hope it is not too frequent. Long story short the part worked just as it should. I also need to order a new hand crank because the a one is defective.
I am very happy with etrailer and the information they provided. The vent cover fit perfectly and was easy to install. The website did an excellent job in helping me decide which replacement, of three available, was right for my trailer. This prevented me from having to replace the whole vent as I did last time the vent cover broke. This saved tons of time and money. The smoked Ventline replacement vent cover worked wonderfully. I had to spring for the expedited shipping in order to get it before the hurricane hit but it arrived on-time in 2 days as promised, was easy to install thanks to the installation video, fit perfectly, and provided a secure seal against the rain and wind. As always, etrailer delivered as promised and as advertised. That is why I use them exclusively for all of my trailer needs.
