About Lake Marine & RV Inc

The idea of Crystal Lake Marine, Inc., the parent company of Lake Marine & RV Inc., of Woodstock, IL was conceived in August of 2009 in a small garage in West Chicago where we repaired and sold boats we had restored. Shortly after that in, March of 2012, Dave Piersall decided to leave the corporate sales world and be his own full time boss and founded Crystal Lake Marine Inc. The new business location at 8611 Huntley Rd in Crystal Lake was a small 2,700 sf pole barn with no heat or AC — a very humble beginning. Due to massive growth, we outgrew the shop in less than a year and decided to move to a 6,000 sf shop in Crystal Lake, located at 7510 Virginia Rd, where the company grew to even greater heights. In May of 2013 we gained first-hand knowledge of the world of municipal zoning. An issue arose, one that would force us to stop performing 40 of the services offered if we remained in that location. It was time to move yet again. The new site at 1151 Lake Ave in Woodstock would become our home where we experienced growths of over 200 annually. Dave and his wife Suzanne love the boating community so much they have a home on the water where Dave gets back to his roots, boating on the weekends, and enjoying the sun and fun on the water! Lake Marine & RV is a new boat dealer for the following brands: G3 fishing boats, Suncatcher, & Coach Pontoon boats and we are a Splendor Catamaran style deck boat dealer. We boast a 30,000 sf indoor climate controlled showroom where we also sell a variety of used boats. We also have a large ship supply store where you will find all your boating and RV supplies at prices below what you would find at Walmart and Farm & Fleet in town as well as online.
