Hey guys, Kevin here with etrailer and today I'm gonna be showing you how to install the Scrubblade heavy duty wiper blades here on our 2002 Chevy Tahoe. If you drive around on the highway, you know all too well just how much bug guts and debris kind of gets stuck on there and just how much of a pain it is trying to clean it off with your conventional wiper blades. On top of that, most of the time when you go in to get your oil changed, those companies want to try and upsell you and overcharge you for those basically generic wiper blades and get that extra install fee added to your bill. To solve all that, Scrubblade came out with their two blade design that's going to eat through all of that bug guts and that debris without just smearing it all over like those conventional ones do and made it easy enough that you can install it yourself. But let's go ahead and show you how we did that. So before you install your new wiper blades you're gonna need to find out exactly which one's gonna fit.
There's two ways of doing this. First one being to actually just measure the wiper blade itself and then just checking the style of attachment point. And there's also just going through our fit guide. If you enter in your year, make, model of your vehicle it'll easily tell you exactly what you need. And there's gonna be two different styles.
There's a hybrid fit or a frame mount fit, so you'll just need to know based on what you have on here. But all we have to do going forward is just pop this off. With our current one, it just has this little tab right here. I'm gonna press down on that. I'm gonna flip my blade over and we're gonna pop it right off of the hook here.
There we go. And we can do the same process on the other side because on this Tahoe, both wiper blades are gonna be the same size. All right, now we can hook on our new wiper blade. All we'll have to do what this one is simply just hook that on over our little bulb right there. Can be a little tricky just getting it started.
You may have to kind of pull it up a little bit just to kinda get it in there fully and then push that back down and then you can pop it right into place. Now we have our wiper blades installed. Why don't we go ahead and show 'em in use. Well, I think about does it for today's installation of the Scrubblade heavy duty wiper blades here on our 2002 Chevy Tahoe. My name's Kevin. I just installed the "scrubblade premium" wiper blades on my vehicle. Haven't had the opportunity to actually use them yet, but I am impressed with the quality of the product, ease of installation and overall appearance. I look forward to seeing how the blades actually perform this Winter. As usual, "etrailer" was a PLEASURE to deal with and, I must say, that I have never been disappointed with the quality of any of their products that I have purchased in the past. Chevrolet Silverado
My daughter needed blades for her Silverado. I was tired of spending $40 on blades that didn’t work all that well to begin with and only had an effective life of a couple of months. I put them on her truck with the windshield covered with a heavy coat of pollen. She hit the washer and it was gone in one cycle. They even got some of the residual bug parts. At first glance the do very well. Interested to see how long they last.

They are holding out very well. There is no sign of wear. She says that they keep the windshield clean. Her only complaint is that they squeak a little in very light rain. Definitely be buying again.

Dodge Durango
Most products I've gotten from etrailer have been great, up until this product. The adapter attachment did not work for putting it onto the subaru. This made them worthless, so I ended up going to the local subaru dealer and getting wiper blades for the same cost. I was able to make the other wipers I purchased for the Durango work, but the "scrubblade" itself does not appear to do any better than a typical wiper blade. Thumbs down on this product.

Wippers still working great as far as cleaning the Windshield only draw back is they rub on Windshield when its raining lightly.

the wiper works great, but the clip holding it on isn't the best design , while removing snow from windshield , I have had it come undone, so now I have to make sure its ON< when I am done removing snow, never had that with any other wiper blade in 40+ yrs of driving
but do like the way they clean the window, so?

They clean well, but they also squeak a lot. I'll probably go back to Bosch Icon blades when they become available again.

I bought these because of the Michelin name, the twin blade and scrubbable design. Awesome overall quality which I believe will give wonderful service for a long time. Average at best. Put a set on '18 GMC 2500 & '10 Ram 2500. Both drivers side are not good in rain. For the price they are fine but would rather pay extra & get something better. Would not purchase again.

This is a great product. I will say I ran into some streaking issues about 6 months in but I'm still giving 5 stars because I should have gotten the heavy duty. The bugs in the south are just a little too much for the platinum long term. But I'm going to be sticking with the brand! Before the bugpocalypse these worked perfect and were easy to install.

So comments, the issue with the blades are they do not conform to the shape of the window well and so it ends up missing places specifically at the top and bottom and then they can be very noisy when it is just a mist or light rain.

The Bottom 3-4 inches of the blades don't make contact with the windshield while driving. Tried changing sides and everything i could think of. They just don't work.

These worked fine for a bit but when the rains started back up this year the blades were just awful. They would move some water off the windshield but they became impossibly noisy, streaky, and could not keep up with heavy rain. I see why they were on super duper sale and they got a ride to the trash bin today. Replaced these with higher end Bosch blades and the noise, smearing, and chattering is all gone. Going to go yank the other set I bought off my old Dodge as they haven't worked worth a damn from the get go.

Thanks for reaching out - have mixed reviews. Two different shipments means a negative environmental impact. And the wiper blade (single, was thinking it was 2 blades) came in an unbelievably over-sized box. The chains, however, came appropriately packaged and look good, but haven't tested.
So I'd give the overall order a 3 out of 5.

2014 Ram 3500
I just went through the carwash with these wipers on my Ram 3500. While passing through the air dryer, it actually blew the wiper right off of the arm. I had to pull outside and go back into the car wash and retrieve my drivers' side wiper. Not accepatble

- I believe the kit you are referring to is from the fit guide when you check windshield wiper fits for your 2014 Ram 1500. And the only difference is if you find that page, the "Wiper Blade Kit" you can add to your cart will be two of the Scrubblade Platinum Windshield Wiper Blade # SC86FR.
So the only difference is that kit is a pair of the blades, while the # SC86FR is just a quantity of one. The wiper blades are the same for both the driver and passenger side of your 2014 Ram 1500,

Having a flexible blade is more advantageous than you'd then. I've broken wiper motors in cars before thinking I could use them to push off large quantities of snow but a flexible blade would give more in that situation and prevent you from having the same issue. - I wish we carried all of what you are looking for, but we only carry the replacement blades. You would need to check with a GM dealer or a junkyard to see about getting the replacement arms.
For a replacement driver side blade you would want the part # SC86FR for a replacement passenger side you would want the part # SC46FR.
