Hello everybody, this is Jeff at etrailer.com. Today, we're gonna take a look at this Valterra folding aluminum manual stabilizer for trailers and RV's. Now, this stabilizer here will help reduce boucing and swaying in your parked RV or trailer. It is designed to work great on fifth wheels, class-C motor homes, toy haulers, travel trailers, and even utility trailers without the auto levelers. The best locations for these stabilizers to be installed are under the rear bumper or frame, or on the side behind the RV entrance door. They're gonna pop up an insert, just to show you, there's an example of a picture of this stabilizer installed on a RV.
It is a very quick and easy setup, requires no tools. All you have to do is unfold these legs, unfold the legs out, adjust them for the height with the push of a button. Just push the button here and you could adjust the legs in or out to whatever height you need. And then you'll take this strap, hook the strap to each foot down at the bottom here, and then when you tighten the strap, it'll pull the legs in for increased height. Or if you loosen that strap, it'll spread the legs out for less height.
The strap itself is a nice durable nylon strap, has a steel buckle, has a 1,000 lb ratchet strength to it. And what's nice about this when you're not using it, just unhook your strap on both sides here, and these legs will fold up, the feet will fold up, and you can fold it into a nice compact storage, put it into this storage bag that they include. Slide it in there, pull the drawstring to shut it. And then they have a nice strap here to carry it on your shoulder with. This is a nice lightweight aluminum construction.
Has a corrosion-resistant and a dye silver powder coat finish on it. And again, the application on this is for RV's and trailers with a 14 inch to 28 inch of clearance between the frame and the ground. The legs right here, the individual leg length on these, if we extended them, push that button, extend them all the way out, would be 27 inches. They do offer three adjustment holes for different height adjustments. The foot size that rests at the bottom here is 6"x5" and the track that's right up here at the top, total length on those is 32 inches long.
One last note I do wanna mention on this, this stabilizer is not to be used as a jack, only as a stabilizer. But that should do it for the review on the Valterra folding aluminum manual stabilizer for trailers and RV's..

I have used the Valterra stabilizer for a year, and don't regret the purchase! When combined with X-Chocks or similar wheel locking devices, all wiggle is removed from our 30 foot trailer.

I love these stabilizers. I use one on each side of my motorhome and now get no movement at all in the wind or when stepping into the coach. They are light weight and easy to use. I highly suggest them to anyone that is like me and does not have auto levelers.
Tony C - 08/05/2018I like the Valterra RV stabilizers - they seem to be helping the stabilization if the trailer significantly. I say 'seem' to because I have learned a lot about how to place the trailer and stabilize it before needing the Valterra supports. But I do recommend!
Air bags wrong vehicle. Air line T did not arrive. Stabilizer is perfect.

The camper jack works great. I put it under the frame behind the steps on my camper. It makes a huge difference in stability.

I have ordered one of these stabilizers previously and love them over the trailer supplied stabilizers so ordered a 2nd. They definitely take all the movement out from people walking around! etrailer had it to me in 2 days. I wasn't around to accept the delivery and when I arrived at the location it had been misplaced. Emailed my contact at etrailer and they gave me where it was delivered to and who signed for it, after that the package was located in minutes!
Product easy to set up. Still have some movement but is much better.
I was more than pleased with my purchase. I can't believe it was sitting on my door step 3 days after i ordered it even with the Christmas rush. Installation was easy if you follow directions. I have not had a chance to test for improvement in 5th wheel stability as I have not used it for camping to date.
this stabilizer rocks. I would recommend this product to anyone. buy 2. one for the step side & one for the back. very simple and very effective.
