This custom-fit T-One connector plugs into your vehicle's wiring harness, which is located behind the driver's-side interior trim panel in your rear cargo area.
Once installation is complete, the 4-way flat connector will be stowed in an out-of-the-way location within your cargo area.
It is recommended that you use a small amount of grease on all electrical connections - the plug on your automobile and the 4-pole connector itself - to help prevent corrosion.
A ModuLite power module is built into this T-One connector. Because most trailers run on a two-wire system - wherein the brake and turn signals are carried on one wire - the separate brake and turn signals from your vehicle's three-wire system need to be combined so they are compatible with the wiring system of your trailer. This power module functions as a tail light converter to combine the brake and turn signal functions of your automobile so that they run on one wire to properly activate your trailer's tail lights. Note: This will not affect how the tail lights on your vehicle operate.
With a ModuLite, your trailer's lights will be powered without overloading your vehicle's electrical system. Because the module draws power directly from your car's battery and bypasses the electrical routes that are used by a basic wiring harness, there is virtually no draw on your tail light circuits.

Hitch took a little longer but I think it was due to the access for tightening the bolts to the correct torque.
This was extremely easy to install. The majority of time is spent deciding how you want the wiring ran over to the hitch. Hooked it up to a trailer and all lights functioned correctly.
aside for the quick delivery time. Good quality. Im a regular person it took me about 1 hour to install the receiver hitch and the wiring harness . wiring harness took 10 mins. to hook up with zips

I really like it and it works well. Well designed and the wiring harness was easy. However...on the Palisade the hitch will bottom out on some steep inclines. Not a huge problem but it has occurred.

The wiring harness hitch extension plugged into the vehicle harness and checked out electrically. Good quality.
T-One Wiring Harness by Tekonsha installed on my Palisade with no difficulty. Module attached to the chassis as per the on-line video supplied by erailer by using supplied double-sided tape. A screw was included in the package for some reason. I was tempted to use it, but I didn't want to pierce the under- chassis. the screw was not mentioned in the video, so I didn't use it.
I picked the Curt trailer hitch over the etrailer hitch because it sticks out further past the bumper. I have the Thule T2 Pro XL bike rack and wanted to make sure I have enough clearance between the bike rack and the back of my 2020 Hyundai Santa Fe. Even though, your video shows enough clearance (1 1/2 inches ) with the etrailer hitch, with the Thule T2 Pro XL bike rack on the 2020 Santa Fe, I wanted more clearance. With the Curt hitch installed I have 3 inches between the closest point on the bike rack and the back of the SUV.
The installation was straightforward and easy. We did use a lift which made it much easier than the previous installation I did laying on the ground under our Honda CR-V. For that SUV I got the etrailer Hitch.
I followed the instruction video for the wiring harness, and it was a simple installation.
My order arrived less 70% of the fastner package. I called your office Saturday 1/22 speaking to a young lady who apologized and said there was nothing she could do on Saturday but the replacement hardware would be shipped on Monday, received by me on Tuesday. I was also to receive an email Monday with a tracking number for the Tuesday delivery. Well, the email came Tuesday telling me the replacement fastners would arrive Thursday. Quite disappointing.. .first to receive the hitch without the required fastners and then to not receive the replacements as promised. You should do better.

Locate the cars wiring harness, unplug ; then open and plug up new product with one snap, and secure wire line along installed mounted support to flat surface and stick-on square box. Then continue securing wire line on other side of hitch and finally mount any excess wire to hitch while leaving short piece free to serve as connecting 4 post receptor. Over and done with. Thanks for being true to your easy promise
First, the rep I worked with, Quinn, was knowledgeable, friendly, and very helpful. In addition, I was going to place a partial order but he advised I firm up what I needed and place a single order to avoid a shipping charge. I did, and the shipping was free. Secondly, he wrote the order and advised I should receive it by the 11th. In fact, it arrived 2 days early. I'll also mention the web-site was easy to navigate and featured many helpful articles on the trailer hitch components. They carry the major brands and related components. I need to order a roof rack and will definitely order from Quinn at etrailer. It was a very positive experience on all fronts - excellent products and a great company to work with. Thanks!!
works as designed if all you need or are going to use is a 4 pin flat connector., just plug and play. However the 2021 Hyundai Palisade is capable and prewired for a 7 pin. etrailer needs to work on an aftermaarket 7 pin similar to the Kia Telluride OEM 7 pin harness. (works for Palisade also}
Bought the drawtite trailer hitch, wiring and bracket. Installed in less than an hour. Box came perfect with no damage. Awesome company.!!!!!!
Just finished installing it myself about 30 minutes ago. Other than being 71 years young. Getting up and down from the garage floor was the hardest. 8^)
This trailer wiring kit was the exact match for the existing plug and play wiring underneath my 2020 Hyundai Palisade. However, you will need to order a separate bracket available at etrailer also to attach the trailer 4-pin connector plug to either the hitch or bumper fascia. I attached mine to the fascia pictured below.
They told me a story said it would take 1 hour to install. Only took 40 minutes after watching the [online] video. (both wiring harness and trailer hitch)

On time and the right part for the job. The design of the product should have a solution for the 4 connector. Just to have it dangle next to the receiver dosen't work. I found a holder on the internet for .95 that took care of that.
I purchased this towing kit for my 21 Hyundai palisade. Everything worked as planned no issues with bolting up to the OEM frame. If you consider purchasing this kit please ensure that you follow the directions and you have the appropriate tools in order to complete the installation.
Looking at the online video showing a similar unit from U-haul...a metal clip that holds 4 way wiring connector was present and made it easier to support the unit. However, the unit I got from etrailer did not contain that clip. If this was a mistake, I would hope that clip is available.
