Hardest part was removing the fifth wheel hitch from the cross bracket due to it being so heavy. The gooseneck adapter was a breeze to install and works flawlessly.

2012 Ford F-250 - Fast shipping and easy to follow directions we’re included. Bed rails and side plates lined up perfectly. My bed has the line x bed liner so I added 1/8” for setting the first rail. I highly recommend using a step bit to drill your holes for the rails. No drilling was required on the frame. This was completed by myself in about 4 hours with no lift. Definitely could be completed faster with another hand or lift. Measure several times and drill once and everything will line up great.

Works well. Defiantly better than installing a gooseneck under the bed hitch. You can swap the plate over to a fifth wheel plate with ease. 2 birds one stone. Defiantly recommend

Great product at a great price. Needed a gooseneck for occasional hauling but didn't want to lose my 5th wheel rails and this fit the bill. Had to loosen the bolts on one rail to get it to sit in place but was a 10 min fix. Had about 10k behind me so far through various terrains and it has done nothing other than what it is intended for. Can't say enough about customer service either, any question i had they had helpful advice and were nothing but nice. Would reccomend this product and ETrailer to anyone in need.

I am still loving it. Use it very often with our horse trailer and stock trailer. Has been every where and done every thing i have asked of it with no issues. Still happy with the purchase and glad i went with this product.

Received the Curt bent plate gooseneck hitch in less than a week and it fit right in the existing fifth wheel rails. Really like this hitch and with it I am going to be able to salvage a trailer that hasn't been on the road since 1994 that would have ended up as scrap metal otherwise! Works better than expected with a short bed truck, the gooseneck trailer I have is not adjustable and is mainly for flatbed use only but with this hitch and rail setup I’m not concerned about rubbing on the bed sides or tailgate, I also have more than enough clearance for tight Maneuvers.

Works Perfect! My only complaint, but not really is the safety chain holes are to close to the bed. Chain hooks bind up and are hard to take off. I added clevis too mine for ease of chain hook up. Other than that, excellent.

This hitch plate is extremely handy, just drop in in for gooseneck trailering, pull it out and replace with fifth wheel hitch when pulling my travel trailer. Well made, no concerns about durability.

Would not have went with this hitch originally, but my truck came with fifth wheel rails, so it was a cheap alternative. I am very pleased with how simple it is, and it works great. Also like that the ball is offset. Recently switched to an enclosed trailer to haul my pulling tractor, and this offset allowed me to flip the plate around to get the ball/trailer further away from the cab of my short bed truck. Well worth the money if you’ve got fifth wheel rails.

Wow! I ordered this Sunday night watching a football game. Showed up Tuesday mid-afternoon! Super fast shipping! Took it out of the box and found it to be very sturdy. I needed to move my large "Fifth Wheel" trailer, but my own truck was in the shop. A friend of mine had the truck but had a 5th Wheel connection, while I had a Gooseneck connection. I purchased the 5th Wheel to Gooseneck conversion unit and it worked perfectly. Strong and well made, it did the job, easily fitting onto the 5th Wheel base.
I'm glad to have the part for future uses. I'd highly recommend this part.
