I had to return my hitch because the person that was supposed to install it for me fell through so I had to use somebody that installed their own hitches but I kept this ball mount even though the other one came with one because it is so much better for the same money. This is such a good product. Your shipping is amazing your people are helpful and were gracious even about the return of the other item. You did such a good job I would recommend your company to anyone. My nephew recommended your sight after his really good experience with your company and his business is using your hitches to pull trailers and they are performing well after several years.

Strong and seems to be well made and well finished. One-inch ball mounting hole. I used this for a Curt hitch mounted on a 2014 Forester and pulls a small Harbor Freight trailer. Perfect height and trailer is level. Warning - don't get their hitch pin, it does not have a hole for a cotter pin, only a weak clip that I would not trust.

Comments
Still going strong. I use it to pull a 4x8 utility trailer. Also sometimes plug a hitch carrier into it when I want to haul a few bags of mulch or a couple of propane cylinders or gas cans.

Very nice, good quality ball mount. Will work great to tow my car trailer.

I searched the internet to put a hitch on my 2016 Chevy Equinox and found an instructional video from eTrailer.com where they installed on my exact car. I decided to go with eTrailer.com because they answered all my questions and because of the video-I support businesses that go the extra mile with these videos. Shipping was quick and well tracked, however, the box was flimsy and the one end of the hitch had come out of the box side and the ball mount could have easily come out of that hole during shipping. If I were eTrailer.com I'd charge an extra couple of bucks for more sturdy boxes-people will still buy as eTrailer is a well-trusted brand and this would overcome a lot of the negative reviews you'll see on their site about this shipping issue in their own reviews :-) I installed the hitch by myself (definitely recommend help as two people holding it up to the frame makes attaching 100% easier) in about 45 minutes total (out of the box, read instructions, review video again and installation complete). All hardware went on with no issues. Great quality hitch! I also bought the lesser expensive wiring assembly because most recent equinox's come hitch ready with pre-wired assembly in the left side compartment-snap and done. Picked up a new trailer at Home Depot within days and drove 5 feet and the clacking was horrible. I had always had a welded hitch before buying a hitch that took a ball mount. I really thought something was wrong and when I searched the internet that night it turns out this is very common. However, all you need is some sort of hitch "silencing" device. The number of options will drive you mad but I went with the Roadmaster Quiet Hitch and it did the trick for much less than most of the other options. If I were eTrailer.com I'd have that as one of the RECOMMENDED add-ons and explanation why its super-worthy when customers are buying a hitch. Would have saved me the time and hassle of dealing with it later and the extra shipping charge for buying after the fact when I got free shipping for the other items the first time :-) All in all, I'm super, super happy with my hitch, wiring assembly, ball mount, ball mount locking pin and the hitch silencer. Buy with confidence from eTrailer.com Paul R., Syracuse, NY

Product as advertised. Wished I'd paid more attention to what was included and not included. Seller web site did a good job indicating other suggestions on what would go with what you were viewing. So much so, I became dependent on it, and over looked the fact that the pin to hold the ball mount was not included in either the receiver or ball mount. I overlooked this and had to go out and buy this somewhere else. Other than that ordering was easy, and I received everything in a timely manner. It's worth noting that their tracking was dead on as well. It's nice tracking the progress of a package you are waiting for so you can plan your installation. And again, they do a nice job of following up letting you know they received, shipped the order and a link to follow it in transit.

Since I bought a receiver you need a hitch for it. I buy everything on line I find it easier and more affordable then running all over the stores looking for the best price. ETRAILER has the best price, I even bought lights for my trailer and you couldn't beat the price any where. Two back lights 2 side lights and wire hardness for the trailer and for the truck, I think the price was a little over $25.00. You can't beat this price. Vince

After being told it would cost around $1300 to install a trailer hitch I figured I would just rent a truck if I needed to pull a trailer. When I saw your ad I was in but was concerned that it would be too complicated to install myself. I turned out to be super simple including the electrical wiring. I'm recovering from a knee joint replacement so was concerned I couldn't get where I needed to be to get the job done but it was a breeze. Everything works beautifully and is solid as a rock. Thanks for such an exceptional DIY product. Now if you have a hitch for my other car, a 1962 Willys Utility Wagon. I'd like one.

Sorry I did not write back sooner, it’s has been a busy October. I really like everything that I bought. So far I have only used the hitch for my bike rack. But I am planning on using a friends trailer for some yard work and home project jobs. I am a welder by trade and everything is well built and as expected, no issues with anything. I especially like how easy the electrical was to connect to the factory harness. My friend who owns the trailer recently bought another truck and with my recommendation he also purchased a trailer hitch and the other parts he needed from etrailer.com. I have recommended etrailer.com to literally everyone I know. I really like the products and will be a return customer.

This isn’t my first order with etrailer. Their service and shipping is excellent. Andy is great! They’re just “set it and forget it” kind of an operation. Their prices are better than competitive, and even if they were a bit higher, I’d still buy from them. No boxes full of broken bags of too many of one size bolt and not enough of other hardware. And you don’t have to play tic tac toe on your phone when you call them, you get a real person quickly

  • Hitch Recommended for 2019 Mercedes-Benz Sprinter 25000 Cargo Van
On this particular vehicle, the design of the rear bumper and its relation to the frame will dictate where the hitch sits. All the hitches available for the 2019 Sprinter 2500 with the standard bumper will sit pretty much up against the underside of the rear bumper as shown in the provided photo. Of the two hitches available for the way your van is set up, either the Curt # C13388 or the Draw-Tite # 75549 would work perfectly. Both hitches have similar weight capacities, but Curt has a...

The differences between the Curt # C13203 and the etrailer branded # e98909 are primarily cosmetic. Both hitches would be mainly concealed behind the bumper, with only the receiver tube and the safety chain hooks being visible. The Curt uses a round tube crossbar with a glossy finish, the etrailer brand hitch uses a square crossbar with a matte finish. The cosmetic appearance really won't matter much as most of the hitch is concealed anyway. The Curt hitch has s higher capacity than the...

None of the hitches we offer would work with the 20 inch spare unless the spare is removed and stored eleswhere. This is a function of where the spare tire sits in relation to the rear bumper, it's a very tight space. If you'll be using the hitch for towing purposes, you'll need to add a trailer...

From the photos, it appears that the face of the receiver sticks out by about two inches, but that's just an educated guess on my part. The primary difference between the two is that once installed, the # C13144 will be completely visible from the rear of the vehicle. The # CU64FR is designed a bit differently, the hitch crossbar will be concealed behind the bumper with the only visible portion of the hitch being the receiver tube and the safety chain hoops. The # CU64FR is preferred by most because the entire hitch isn't visible. Because we pay more for the hitch and it's more in demand, the # C13144 is priced higher....
