Took 2 of us about 1:20 to install, including cutting down the bumper.
I am impressed. The install went as smooth as I'd assume it would. Took me about 1 hour as I'm more mechanically inclined. Very happy. Purchased to take my Kuat 4 bike rack. There was minimal sag with 210lbs.
This hitch looks extremely strong and well finished. Probably overkill For the bike rack I will be using it for. Installation was not as bad as expected. The hardest part to me was pulling the tail lights loose from retaining clips. Finished product looks inconspicuous and seems to have an upward tilt.
Worth the money, great product and installation was straight forward not too difficult.
This concealed hitch is great. Well built, looks great, and Install went well. Plan for 2.5-3 hours if you install yourself. Plastic bumper modification will vary to allow for the 2” receiver. Thank you!
This was an easy project. It took my friend and I just under 2 hours to I stall and it looks great!!
Very pleased with the etrailer hitch for my Mazda 3. It fits up inside the rear bumper shroud, only part that shows is the receiver.
Works well with the Mazda low profile design.
I’m not an auto mechanic and have limited tools but i can figure things out and not afraid to bust a knuckle. I installed the etrailer start to finish in 1 hour (watched video a couple of times and followed directions step by step).
Is working very well, no problems whatsoever. I have been using it for carrying a bike rack around, the only problem I have was the difficulty of the install. I had to pay a professional to do it for me.

Cost effective and extremely simple installation process, fitted perfectly for my vehicle. Slight issue with the cover plate for the rear bumper being pushed out from it's intended housing, but the end result is that the hitch is better hidden. Highly recommend for Mazda 3 Hatch owners, especially if you're hoping for just a little more room on a long trip- Hitch baskets work with this hitch quite well.
