As expected! Great service from etraile r!

by:

This is almost all of what's needed to install the Autowbrake. I rated 5 stars because the essentials are there, and provide guides when running to the hardware store to buy more ring terminals. The box itself is well built. I didn't use any of the weather-tight crimp connectors. The lack of mounting screws I can understand, because different ones are needed for mounting on metal than wood. I used 1.5" long self-tapping metal screws to mount onto my trailer's tongue.

This box has plenty of room to mount the Autowbrake wiring and the wiring from two 7 way cables. I chopped off the existing 7 way plug and purchased a new plug/cable to have enough wire for installation.

Good kit, but maybe some more ring terminals instead of the weather tight crimp connectors would be nice.

etrailer is an amazing company. This was the very first time I placed an order with etrailer and it was way above and beyond my expectations. Everything I needed for my trailer was in stock. I placed my order on a Sunday night and it was shipped for FREE the following day. My order was delivered 4 days later in excellent condition with the correct items that I ordered. It was easy to track my order from the warehouse to my front door from the shipping email that I received from etrailer. Thanks for the great experience! You will always have my business!! God Bless!

  • Recommended 7 way Connector for 2017 Dodge Grand Caravan Using Autowbrake
The Autowbrake # 3430001 is a great choice! To add a 7 way to your 2017 Dodge Grand Caravan you'll want to use the # ETBC7L, since it doesn't require the wiring of a brake wire into the vehicle like the # ETBC7. You will still need to run a wire for the 12v power, but other than than it's going to be really easy to install since it plugs into your existing 4 way. To complete installation of the Autowbrake I recommend using the Junction Box and Installation Kit for Autowbrake Trailer-Mounted...

  • Junction Box and Parts Needed to Add 7-Way Round Connector to Tractor
I believe what you're needing is the Junction Box and Installation Kit # 3430001-JBK along with the Pollak Heavy-Duty, 7-Pole, Round Pin Trailer Wiring Socket # PK11720 and then 8' - 10' of the Deka Wire - Jacketed 7-Wire # DW04914-1 (sold by the foot). Typically the junction box is located on the trailer side of things so there aren't any kits that come with the tow vehicle connector, but this combination should do the trick! The junction box comes with all of the connections you need...

  • How To Hook Up Lights On a Flat-Bed Without Splicing
In order to achieve your goal of not splicing into the factory trailer wiring harness we are basically going to create a wiring harness for the flatbed which would plug into the factory trailer connector. In order to do this we are first going to want a junction box, part # 3430001-JBK. Once we have the junction box we can then run the wires from the headache rack and tail lights to this with part # 16-4B-1 (per foot). After this is completed the only other thing we need to do is attach...

  • Adding 4-Way to R-Pod for Light Kit on Bike Rack
The Cargo Carrier Light Kit # 52014 is a good light kit but I you might consider looking at the Curt Auxiliary LED Indicator Lights # C53201 instead because they install by via adhesive instead of brackets and the lights have connectors that will be a little easier to disconnect. When it comes to adding a 4-Way wiring to the back of your R-Pod I recommend using the Junction Box Kit # 3430001-JBK on the tongue of your trailer. This gives you the ability to cut and splice the original wiring...

  • Parts Needed to Install New Trailer Plug and Junction Box on Trailer
I have a solution for you, and it sounds like you're maybe looking for some sort of plug and play option that you can use as an extender into the junction box, but that does not exist. Your best bet is just to cut the plug on your trailer off and wire the loose wires directly into the junction box; you'll then run a new plug out of the junction box to add the new trailer wiring plug. • Parts Needed to Add Electric Brakes to a 6x10 Trailer
There will be a few parts needed to add electric brakes to your trailer. First, you will need to have a flange on the axle that a brake would bolt to. If you do not currently have this flange, you will need to add something like the Brake Mounting Flange # 4-35. This is designed for a 2 3/8" axle and will have a standard bolt pattern for a 3,500 pound braking set-up. With that being said, the etrailer.com # AKEBRK-35-SA will bolt directly to the # 4-35 with the # BRKH10B mounting hardware....
