Paul E - 12/08/2022Product was easy to open , ratchet closed, and seems very workable for my purpose , which was to hold my kayak upon my trailer. I think it will all work well, since I did not need any heavy duty type of tiedowns.

Frederick L - 07/08/2021Have not used it yet to move utility trailer. Parts seem very sturdy and heavy duty steel. Instruction sheet for assembly is pictorial. Easy enough to put together but instructions would benefit by id'ing which of the length bolts go with certain assembly parts.
E-trailer service and delivery was exceptional. I will not hesitate to recommend them to others. Numerous contacts via email to let me know status of order and who to call if I was not happy. Fast delivery.

They are ridiculously simple to use and very suited to the purpose of preventing the 1,500 lb. tractor from sliding around on the slippery/icy trailer bed.

Lou - 08/13/2016I bought for my hubby to use to tie down his Mid Size Polaris UTV to the trailer and not have the extra piece of the straps blow in the wind. He hasn't used them as intended (deer season is over -- I bought them too late) but he has played with them and so far he is totally impressed with what he sees.
I love these retractable ratchet straps. Secure your cargo and don't have to worry about dangling strap ends that usually end up with knots.

Product is exactly as advertised. It does a fine job of tying down a 4-wheeler or motor-bike less the hassle of the straps flailing in the wind. Compact and easily stored between uses. The value of the self-contained webbing exceeds the extra cost of retraction.

These are pretty slick I have five tie downs tangled in the back of my truck at all times. I will probably use them on my motorcycle lift table They are slick I do worry about how the elements will treat them (back of the truck)
I don't use ratchet types much but this solves all the problems that ratchets have

The ratchets work very well and I've used them quite often. The only draw back is I wish the straps were longer. Otherwise a very good product.
These are a good set of Ratchet Straps though you should keep use W-D 40 or another lubricant to keep the mechanisms working.
This is my 2nd pair, 1st ones got jammed.
Plus side is being retractable make them easy to use.
