Works perfectly for me. I use it to tow a motorcycle trailer behind my Mini Cooper with a concealed hitch so I need the extra length to clear the bumper. No complaints.

Every Item I have ordered from has been top of the line . Easy ordering , prompt service , and excellent installment instructions . I watch the video , more than once , and follow the expert's direction . I wouldnt order trailer parts anywhere else .
Thank You

Still very pleased with the products ! Thank you again
L.E.Kellogg - 03/13/2018

The drawbar I got with my trailer hitch was way too low and didn't seem to be correct for my vehicle. This corrected that issue.

I believe my choice, with the help of etrailer, of this Draw-Tite trailer hitch receiver, along with a few other items to go with it, such as the drawbar, hitch ball and wiring harness, was a good one for my 2017 Subaru Forester. I also have to compliment etrailer for their excellent video on how to install it. All together, it really made the purchase very easy and smooth. Thanks etrailer.

I was going to simply order the hitch and use the old extension bar I had from a previous etrailer hitch. But at the last minute I decided to order the suggested bar, because it looked so much different than the one I had. I'm glad I did. The old bar was not only noticeably lower, but it wasn't as long as my Toyota needed to get past the bumper. etrailer knows what they are doing! It works great!

It was delivered in a timely manner as promised, price was great, and pretty easy to install at home.
This is my second hitch from this supplier. My last experience several years ago was equally great.

Works perfectly. Needed a tow bar
with very little rise and would clear the bumper. Thankfully, etrailer has a huge selection of equipment so you can find the right piece.

Ball mount ideal for situation. Info on web site rise and drop is wrong way round. Should be 1 1/4" rise 5/8" drop.

Parts arrived sooner than expected, both fit my 2010 Maxima and work great.
I called to cancel one of the items and service was friendly and helpful. I will recommend to others.

Excellent hitch receiver. Perfect fit, nice welds, easy install.

Very simple install took about 15-20 mi nutes.

Perfect for what I need.

Pat C was EXCELLENT!! She was knowledgeable and polite, she Worked hard to help me complete my order after there was a problem with my billing. Followed through and made it happen, Thanks Pat

The other women I spoke with were rude and gave me mixed answers

Nice stinger. Solid construction. Just what I needed to attach a clevis to for my Honda Pioneer 500 to pull my buddies out. Great service quality product.

Fits well. Works Well. Stores in trunk of car when not in use to save tender shins from bruising .

Very quick shipment and was kept updated. Already installed and I am very pleased
Great job!!

fit good ,

super seller i'll do
business again with them anytime.

thank you !

Quality, no frills, affordable- what's not to love?

simple and solid...time will tell how well the finish holds up... looks great brandy new, like my first wife.

Yeah great product, received in the mail super fast even with the free shipping.

Would totally recommend and buy again. Very reasonable pricing also and so easy to fit.

Just submitted a review. You guys always do a great job - thank you!

Since the hitch is 'hidden' by the bumper a long tongue was needed. This fits perfect for my 2004 Outback wagon

Product shiped quickly and works great and easy to install

  • Class II Ball Mount Does Not Fit in a Class I Receiver Hitch
Class I and class II hitches both have an 1-1/4 x 1-1/4 inch receiver openings. However, a class I hitch has a towing capacity of 2000 lbs and a tongue weight of 200 lbs, a class II hitch has a towing capacity of 3500 lbs and a tongue weight of 300 lbs. Because of the differences in capacity, the hitch manufacturer designs the receiver shank depth in different sizes. The class I hitch is not as deep as a class II hitch, as you have discovered. • Will the 1-1/4" Drop Draw Tite Drawbar Work with 1-1/2" Drop Needed for Trailer
The Draw Tite Drawbar part # 36053 would work great on a vehicle/trailer 1-1/2" apart since the vehicle would likely sag some either from cargo or the trailer therefore the 1-1/4" drop the above drawbar offers will still work great. This is also your best option as we do not currently offer any 1-1/4" drawbars with an exact 1-1/2" drop. The drawbar comes with a hitch pin but if you need a hitch ball use part # 19258.

  • Hitch Ball Recommendation for Use with Ball Mount part # 36053
For a 2 inch ball to use in the ball mount part # 36053 you would want the part # 19258. For a 1-7/8 inch ball you would want the part # 19254. Both of these balls have shank diameters of 3/4 inches. Length of the threaded portion of the shank isn't super important but the two I mentioned are confirmed fits and both have different lengths.

  • Can A Ball Mount be Flipped for the Correct Amount of Rise/Drop
The Curt Class I Drawbar part # C45019 can be installed right side up which will give you a rise of 5/8" or upside down which will give you a drop of 1-1/4". However, the above ball mount is only rated for use with trailers up to 2,000 lbs therefore I cannot recommend you use this ball mount to tow a 2,500 lb trailer. For a similar ball mount with equal rise/drop, I recommend the Draw Tite Drawbar part # 36053 which is rated for use with trailers up to 3,500 lbs. I have attached a review...

  • Correct Ballmount for a 2008 Subaru Outback
Both Class I and Class II trailer hitches are tested and rated with the specific ball mount for that hitch, therefore the ballmount used must be the one that is recommended by the trailer hitch receiver manufacturer. Class I or Class II hitch that is manufactured by Curt I recommend the # C45519 ball mount. Class II hitch that is manufactured by Draw-Tite,...

  • Troubleshooting Draw-Tite Ball Mount and Curt 1-1/4 Inch Trailer Hitch Receiver Rattle
I recommend measuring the inside of the hitch receiver opening and then measuring the shank of the draw bar. It may be that one of them is outside of the tolerances. If neither are obviously mis-manufactured then the best solution to your issue is to use the Roadmaster Quiet Hitch for 1-1/4" Trailer Hitches item # RM-061-125 which will ensure the tight fit in your hitch receiver.

  • Recommendations on a Ball Mount and Lock to Fit a 2011 Honda Odyssey with a 12 inch Hitch Height.
You will need two measurements and a little math to determine the correct ball mount for Honda Odyssey. You will need to measure, on level ground, your Honda's hitch height from the top of the receiver hitch opening to the ground. Next, measure from the bottom of your trailer's coupler to the level ground. The difference between these two numbers will determine the rise or drop you will need in your ball mount. There is no Class III receiver hitch available for the 2004 Subaru Legacy. This is a class II hitch receiver rated for up to 300 lbs tongue weight and well over the towing capacity of your vehicle at 3500 lbs. The ECU is not something we carry as most liftgates work just fine when you add an aftermarket hitch.
