the hitch I purchased is a high quality unit, easy to install and fits as expected. We use the hitch for towing, but it doubles as a location to mount my hoyer lift that puts me in my cyclekart!
It is well built and installed nicely. I was not expecting it to stick out as far as it does. The installation video shows it more recessed under the bumper allowing for room to mount trailer light connections.
We installed this on our E150 campervan so we could haul extra cargo or a bike rack. It's definitely more hitch than we need since we're not towing anything (yet). We landed on this particular hitch because the price wasn't much different than the lower-class models, and - the big selling point - this one didn't require any frame drilling for installation.
Speaking of, installation was straightforward and easy to understand. I managed to install it by myself, though as with any hitch it would be easier with an extra set of hands. I used a jack stand to hold the other side of the hitch in place.
The hitch is ridiculously strong and I would have no reservations about hauling some serious weight if I had an accessory that fit snugly in the receiver.
The only complaint I have is that the receiver has too much play. It's listed as a 2" receiver, but both of the 2" accessories I use (and several others I tried at the store) have a lot of "slop" as the opening actually measures something like 2-3/16". (See photo) Adding the bolt to secure the hitch in the receiver steadies lightweight loads, but I would be concerned that the stress of a heavy load would be too much for that connection point.
Josh S - 04/07/2021Even with one spacer hole to small that I had to drill out, this was an extremely easy install and appears to be a very sturdy heavy duty hitch. The price was good with free shipping. I’m pleased with my purchase.
It mounted up without a hitch! Haha. Super easy mounting and I have hauled 2-1/2 yard concrete trailer and hay wagon and excavator behind my van thus far and I have zero issues. I had to modify my electrical connection bracket but to me that kind of thing can be expected
Cord - 03/16/2022Went on easy, perfect fit, did it by myself with the help of a hydrolic jack to hold it up. Took about twenty minutes. Customer service was quick to respond for getting feedback, very appreciated! Review pictures of install helped make my decision, and a great price also. Made in Mexico, however, hopefully will be made in USA soon.

Product went on as described in the video. Did struggle a bit to get the socket on the nut with the way the crossbar fits through the weld. Other than that I don’t know why I put it off as long as I did.
Travis - 06/23/2021I received my hitch when they said it would be there. The over condition of the product is excellent,and the installation instructions are very easy to follow. I had the hitch installed in less then 30 mins. I highly recommend etrailer for all your towing ,and hauling needs. Fair prices and great customer service.
Simple installation by myself. No drilling required was my biggest need,as I didn't feel like dropping $20 on drill bits to get through hardened steel. Took 15 or twenty minutes to get it all bolted up.

I shopped [another online retailer] as well as local RV stores and then remembered etrailer. I found the hitch I needed at the lowest price and as luck would have it, a Sunday free shipping offer. The hitch arrived quickly and fit perfectly.
Another good experience with etrailer.
The only issues I had with hitch was sticker location on hitch was hard to read as was placed in wrong location. Once hitch is installed, you cannot read load rating decal The kit could use a few m5ore shim washers.
I have been doing business with etrailer for almost 10 years, for my personal and work related needs. Always received quality products at a reasonable price with great customer service. The hitch receiver I installed today took almost an hour to install, the instructions included were straight forward and NO drilling, a plus, packed well with all the hardware needed for the install.

The hitch fit perfectly and left just enough clearance for the spare tire. My only problem was that one of the locking nuts came without threads. I could not get the same nut so had to purchase an SAE bolt, flat washer, locking washer and nut.

Love the hitch and installation was perfect. Hate the drag chain attachments. It appears impossible to attach a 10,000 lb. rated chain hook.

First of all let me mention that this is third hitch I have purchased in past two years and I'm always impressed with customers service and fast shipping. The quality of the last one was little bit less than I was expecting. The coating was chipped on multiple places before I installed it and it was not due shipping. The box is in excellent condition.
