Can't comment on the longevity , but this certainly seems like a high-quality hitch, and I am excited at all the flexibility it allows me. The installation video was very helpful, but two things:
1) unclipping the side wheel trim pieces needs a bit more info. The clips were very difficult to unclip.
2) The video mentioned having to cut out some plastic on the bumper. This was not necessary. No cutting needed.

Install take a good hour with reviewing the instructions online video.
No need to cut the rear bumper, hitch slides on and fits through no problem.
Overall found the trailer hitch to be exactly as advertised. I’m fairly handy around the house, but always a bit hesitant to do much on cars. But with the step by step video, I found this to be no problem. Just followed along, paused the video, and did it step by step. Took exactly 3 hours, which is what they estimated in video. Very happy with this purchase.
The order arrived quickly. There was a video for my car and my trailer hitch which I followed to the letter. The level of difficulty was pretty high, and I have installed 4 other etrailers on my cars before. It took me about 2 hours to complete the install on my Audio Q5 without any issues. Anytime I buy a car, I add a trailer hitch from etrailer because they make it so easy.
Happy with product. Good quality at great price. Need to take apart the whole bumper for SQ5. A bit tricky but doable with great video with all steps (that makes a difference).
This is the second Draw-Tight trailer hitch I have purchased from etrailer.com. Supper fast shipping and the communication from the etrailer team is excellent. The Draw-tight hutch was easy to install and looks great on our 2018 Q5. I didn’t have to cut any plastic parts to complete the installation because the bumper plastic will fit around the hitch.

Len S - 08/24/2020Installation went just as expected. This is a rather simple installation and looks like a factory hitch. You only need to cut the notch into the bumper cover if you have a long ball mount that will reach back into the receiver.

The install was not too difficult and the directions were spot-on. I did not have to cut anything in the rear bumper area as the hitch fit perfectly within the fascia opening that was already there (2022 Q5).
Installed on a 2022 Audi SQ5. It probably took me 2 hours total. Make sure that you have a 10mm deep socket to remove the four nuts on the bumper. The removal of those nuts is kind of the crux of the whole process. Otherwise, it's pretty easy. No need to trim the bumper cover.
it is what I expected. Quality of unit is good. works well for the intended use. installation was as expected. much greater value than the Audi unit
Great product. Very easy to install by just following the video. The only problem I had was with the trim because the measurements is off center if you follow the instructions but it still works and it isn’t noticeable unless you bend. 2018 Audi Q5. Second time I’ve ordered from here and perfect every time. Quick shipping also.

I am very happy with my purchase from etrailer.com especially since I did not have to cut out a notch in my bumper to fit the tow hitch. It just slipped into the open gap. The only other thing I would change about the instructions. The 10 mm socket needs to be an extended 10 mm socket.
Appears to be great quality for the price and fit perfectly/custom. Installation video was key to an easy installation process and without it would have been difficult to figure out.
Shipped very promptly, received within 2 days. A bit disappointed for the box, as the hitch receiver had broken throhgh the cardboard but disn't show any big damage other than cosmetic. Installed was relatively simple if you watch the video first. Took me about 3 hours to install and return vehicle to driving conditions, but I did have my 2 little ones constantly interrupt me, so I am pretty sure that easily 1:30-2:00 tips is cery reasonable. I did not have to trim the bottom of the bumper as it fit without any issues. It looks stock which is someting I was looking for.
Not the easiest installation but the hitch fits perfectly. Solid product. Would purchase again for sure.

Be careful trimming the small piece of plastic under the rear bumper. The tabs are not equally spaced so if you measure between two centre tabs it isn’t actually in the centre of the bumper and the small cut out will be off centre.
The product was a perfect fit on my 2019 Audi SQ5. The installation video was spot on and very helpful. Nice job guys!

2018 AUDI SQ5; DRAW-TITE 76183
I am very pleased with the DRAW-TITE 76183. The fit is excellent. It is tight up to the car and sits in the exact same spot as the $900! Factory unit. I installed it in 2 hours. Be very careful with the snaps for the wheel well trim. Release them from the INSIDE from underneath with a flat head driver, there are two at the bottom on both sides. Its tricky but it the ONLY way to insure not damaging the snaps. Instructions don't call for this. They are not the replaceable kind, they are part of the trim.
DO NOT CUT/trim your FACIA! Its not necessary. Or at least test fit the facia before cutting. Im glad i did a test fit before trimming. I did not need to trim mine and have plenty of room in that area.
Dean - 08/28/2018The product itself is good. Appears to be good quality. The instructions are very lacking however. I would recommend creating a more detailed set of instructions with many pictures and make them available online. The install time noted it should take a couple hours. It ended up taking about 4 hours and that did not include wiring the harness.
