The grease cap on this hub-and-drum assembly is specially designed to work with your Dexter E-Z Lube axle to make lubricating bearings quick and easy. Just remove the plug on the grease cap, attach a grease gun to the zerk fitting on the end of the spindle, and inject the grease. It will flow easily to both inner and outer bearings. Not only does this make lubricating the bearings easy, but it also helps to prevent corrosion of the hub. This is because you can lubricate the bearings without the mess of taking apart the entire assembly.
The first number in the bolt pattern is the number of bolt holes. The second number denotes the diameter, in inches, of the circle on which the bolt holes sit.
On wheels with an even number of bolt holes, measure from the center of one bolt hole to the center of the hole directly across from it. (Example: 8 on 6-1/2 means 8 bolt holes with 6-1/2" from the center of one hole to the center of another on the opposite side.)
To determine the bolt-circle diameter on wheels with an odd number of bolt holes, measure from the center of any bolt hole to the point halfway between the two bolt holes directly across from the first. (Example: 5 on 4-1/2 means 5 bolt holes with 4-1/2" measured to a point halfway between the opposite bolt holes.)
Measuring the distance (D) from the center of one bolt hole on the wheel to the center of a bolt hole right next to it can also help to determine the bolt pattern.

What a difference, night and day! Worth every penny. My trailer rides like a dream now, the independent suspension made such a difference, no more bouncing on the roads especially when it gets rough. Customer service was excellent and they answered all my questions and made sure I had all the right equipment I needed. Would definitely do this again if I built another trailer.
Poor packaging by the OEM and was not shipped in a secondary box by etrailer’s logistics team. Way 2 heavy and was late , damaged by UPS then reboxed by UPS. Huge Disappointment and has really put us In a bad situation. LOTS of room for improvement !
They only include 5 lug nuts but it is a 6 lug hub , even says it on the box .. pre greased bearings but the packaging is so poor they will be knocked out and laying in the bottom of the box… Both E trailer and Dexter need logistics 101 ,, Not a good look for such 2 large companies …

Fast Free shipping. Needed to replace all four hubs. Some had bad magnet wear. Two had loose races. Had great assistance selecting measuring original bearings to make sure I got the right parts. Heave shipping boxes. They did a good job stapling smaller boxes to the bigger box which helped boxes stay together.

Item: 8-201-9UC3-EZ; This item Is a replacement for my 5th wheel camper. Do to the fact while traveling the outer bearing failed on interstate I-40 late in the evening. The cost of replacing brakes, drum, bearing, seals, grease, plus service cost is Very Expensive after hours. Having these items on hand can save a lot of time and money.

Very easy to convert from old mobile home hubs. Braking power is incredible.
Excellent service from etrailer staff. Super fast delivery. I wasn't expecting the drums to come with the spindle nuts and retainer clips. Pleased to see them in the boxes. They weren't listed with what is included on the site. Parts seem to be of good quality. I wish installing them was as easy as ordering them.

No longer have these. I went to bigger axles. However, they worked great. When I need replacements on new axles, I will be purchasing from etrailer
received on time as promised. good replacement part but make sure you measure the axle grease seal. they come with 2 1/8 inch seals and my application required 2 1/4 inch. fortunately for me I had the spare seals on hand from previous order.

I am writing this very favorable review of my online shopping experience with etrailer. Recently I had to replace the brakes, hubs, wheels and tires on my travel trailer. Please keep in mind that I am a 65 year old man without a lot of experience with online shopping. Never-the-less, I decided to give it a try in hopes of saving some money. To my surprise, etrailer made the experience very easy and painless. Before I placed my order on line, I had a question about one of the items on my shopping list, so I placed a call to them. I spoke with a very lovely and patient Customer Service Representative by the name of Michelle S. She was very helpful in answering my questions and encouraged me to call her back directly when I was ready to place my order; and so I did. During the shipping process, she kept me informed through emails the status of my order and everything arrived on time and in great shape. I truly appreciate the personalized services I received doing business with etrailer. They truly removed all of the uncertainty and nervousness of shopping online.
I ordered four Dexter drums and brake kits. Shipping was FAST, my order was placed about 3:45 one afternoon and at 12:15 the next day UPS was unloading it.
The quality of the Dexter parts was what I expected and the reason I paid extra. What I didn't like china made bearings, races and seals, so I spent another $180 with another supplier for U.S.A. made Timken bearings and races.
I bought the whole package, the brake assembly and hubs. It even came with bearings, rear seal and lug nuts. The shoes are
already on the backing plates. All you need to do is bolt the backing plate to the axle which is five bolts and splice the electric brake wire to your trailer wire. I thought the price was very reasonable and I got free shipping which would have been $126.
Very happy with this company and will do business with them again in the future.

The 8-201-9uc-ez trailer hub assy i ordered was great quality and exact fit. Only improvement id like to see is the option to get Timken bearings in the wheel kits as they only provide the chinese junk as do most other companies. Great shopping experience. we have several thousand miles on the drums and they are preforming perfectly
This was a great purchase and a fair price. saved me a lot of time putting the brakes back together. I purchased new back plates with the pads and all parts pre-assembled and ready to bolt on the axles. slide on the new drums and bearing and i was done. quick easy and not expensive.
Would highly recommend buying from etrailer.
Order arrived very quickly. Placed on Friday, arrived on Tuesday from Mo to Pa. Items were packed well and arrived in good condition. Upon initial inspection all items appear of good quality. Ordered tires, brakes with backing plates, hubs ,seals and grease. Haven't installed any items yet, but I am sure I will have no issues. Free shipping is a plus. Additionally unlike other free shipping offers that are out on the back burner for a week, order was processed and shipped promptly.
