It replaces one of the t-bolts that came originally with the Xadapt12 adapter kit. This bolt is used to help mount the Thule portage and the Thule SUP shuttle directly in the channels of your arrow blade, or arrow blade edge load bars.When it comes to this t-bolt, it's an M6 by 22 millimeter square head t-bolt. Can I Use the Thule Replacement Square T-Bolt for Thule Xadapt12 on an Awning with Thule Crossbars
I reached out to Thule and the # 853208914 does not have a weight capacity they've tested it at, but it's not truly going to be weight bearing a lot of weight, so it would be an acceptable solution to mount the Batwing to your Thule crossbars. This bolt is an M6 x 22mm bolt, so you'll need a 10mm nut, as well. You also may be able to use the Aero Style Crossbar T-Slot Fit Kit for Malone Kayak Carriers # MPG6604, which comes with bolts and track nuts.

The referenced Thule bolt is not the same as the Malone parts but I have what you need. Malone Aero Bars use their own style of T-Bolt Connectors sold in kits. Check out Malone # MPG915 for a 5/8ths inch bolts, or MPG6604 for a 1-7/16" bolts. I have attached links to these kits.

You could use the Rhino Rack Pioneer Platform Tray part # RR42115BF as a base for the solar panel. We've heard some people use anchor plates like the # 853208914 to attach solar panels to trays like that but we don't have a specific way to recommend that. These plates can fit into the slots on the top of the tray and give you a stud to mount a bracket. This is an M6 bolt which we have wing nuts for with the part # 753-0783.
