The red knob on my Frontloader stripped and caused my rack to be inoperable. This fit perfectly and was easy to install. Rack is good as new. Be sure to keep the original nuts as this only comes with the red knob and washer.

It is a replacement part... So, it does what it should. Make sure you keep the brass nut that goes on the end of the long bolt, as this replacement knob does not provide one.

- Does Removal of Brass Bolt and Nut of Yakima FrontLoader Allow Red Knob to Come OffYes, you will remove the brass nut and bolt and the red knob will come off. You should note that the # 8880226 does not come with a new nut (just a washer), so be sure not to lose your current one.
