Hello neighbors, it's Brad here at etrailer. And today we're taking a look at the replacement airline system for the AirLift 1000 air helper springs. Now this kit is going to be great for if any of your components in your air lift system are cracked, damaged or go missing. Now, the kit does not include the bag or the spacers themselves, but the rest of the components will be in there. So if your T fitting cracks, if you lose a clamp, if your air line gets chafed and your Schrader valve gets stuck, or any of the hardware comes off, the kit's going to include all of that. So it's really nice to be able to keep your system going by being able to buy the replacement parts.
So when mounting and installing airbags, sometimes you're stuck with an air line hanging down. Now there's really no way around this, but that does pose a potential threat. If you're going off-roading and pinch the line, if you catch something on the road, whatever life throws at you, or just over time, your air lines degrade or any part of the components. This is where that kit is going to be really beneficial because you're going to be able to swap that out without having to buy an entire new kit. And the rest of the components should still be in place.
So looking at some of the other components, you know, if you use your bag system a lot, your Schrader valve has pressure and it goes back and forth. But with anything with moving parts, you do have the potential for it to get corroded and get stuck, or just fail to work properly. So this kit, you'll be able to swap that out and be back on the road and no time. Now, another part that I like to point out that is included is this T fitting. And the T fitting is pretty durable.
But this, living in the Midwest, I've seen the undersides of vehicles and the cold in the winter and the hot in the summer puts it in extreme conditions. So over time, this plastic can be brittle. And once you get a little pinch or a little crack, that air pressure is really going to really make that larger. So to catch it early or to fix it once it's broken is definitely nice. And the kit's going to allow you to do that.
Now, if you think that your bags are failing or have a leak somewhere, one of the best ways to check, is to go to all your connection points and spray it with soapy water. Now, you're gonna put that under there, make sure that you do have air pressure built up in the back. If you can't get the pressure to stay or you hear leaking, that's a sure sign, but if it's a slow leak, this is going to show you. So right now you have the small bubbles, but if an air leak was happening, you'd actually see the bubbles start to push out and you'd have them kind of consistently flowing with larger bubbles. So go through all your system, if you're not sure where the leak is and spray all those connections. And if you think it's in a line, you can do the same. So if you think it's chafed, you can spray that and those bubbles will form all the same. So go through your system, figure out where it's at and replace the component as necessary. The replacement air line kit is going to come with two Schrader valves. So even if you're just replacing one, you're going to have an extra, and that's kind of an added bonus. When you replace the component that you find to be faulty, you're going to have spares for the future to come. So that's a look at the replacement air line kit for the AirLift 1000 rear air helper springs. Now, hopefully this kit will get you back on the road without having to redo the entire system or spend more money on an entire kit when you can just fix the problems. Hopefully this helps and thanks for watching..
