The Lend-A-Hand RV Handrail looks and works great. I installed the mounting screws into the stud near the door frame. Very sturdy. I put a dab of silicone caulk into the holes per manufacturer's suggest. Directions enclosed were simple and concise. Took about 15 minutes. The handrail shipped right on time and I was able to track my order online.

This is my first time ordering from etrailer and won't be the last. The hand rail is even larger than I anticipated! My husband put it on our Coachman travel trailer the same day it arrived! As I am getting older I am having issues from old knee injuries with mobility. This works great to assist me getting in and out of our camper. It has easy instructions to install and It folds away for travel. I wish I would have found it sooner. Big thumbs up!

This is an excellent handle for my truck camper. It was a replacement for the original handle that had broken. Shipping was very quick. Although the handle and dimensions were an exact size, I did have to redrill for several screws. However it was quick and easy and actually is a stronger mount than the original. Since I found the same handle for a cheaper price elsewhere, etrailer quickly refunded me the difference as well. I have bought many things from them before, and will continue since they offer such quality products and a high level of service. Thank you etrailer!

It came so promptly. However I thought I got an empty box it was so light! So easy to install! It was delivered and on my camper in less than 45 minutes. We had heard of people being worried that someone from the outside could lock you in by flipping over the handle. Although it holds it well in the folded position, pushing on the door from the inside will easily flip it back open. Although my wife really likes it for entering the camper, I never thought how much it steadies me exiting the camper.
It came yesterday and we take out the trailer for the 1st time this weekend, so this should give us a good use test, but just loading up it was so handy! Thanks for a great product.
If there is any "con", I was a bit surprised that it fits a bit loose when in the extended position. It doesn't really affect using it, but it doesn't give a "rock solid" feel that I was kind of expecting.

On a previous travel trailer had the Grab Handle and worked good for my wife. This one was purchased for my mother who has 3 steps going up to her garage. She didn't want a full blown hand rail so we compromised with the Grab Handle. She's very happy with something to grab onto to help steady as she goes up and down those couple of steps.

When we bought our trailer, we knew we would have to replace the step handrail as it suffered some sort of collision with a large moving object. It was functional, just a bit bent. The replacement handle was not quite as heavy duty as the original but very satisfactory. I am just not sure it would have faired as well as the original with the hit it took!

I think etrailer itself is wonderful always find what I need, however my box showed up missing the mounting hardware which kinda sucks.

This is a great product. I have two steps leading from my house to my garage. I installed it on the wall of my garage to help my husband, because he has a difficult time getting up and down these steps. I plan to get one for the other side of the steps. I am very pleased with the quality of this grab handle and the price is right. Looks good on our camper and makes it much safer when entering and exiting the camper. It was super easy to install. My husband had it on in just a few minutes. I ordered it on Sunday evening and received it Friday in PA. I would recommend this grab handle to my friends.

It did work on the right side but if you pull down on the handrail it could come out of the notch because you have to turn it over if you screw it close to the door but think it will still work.

I received an email from good ole George J. at etrailer following up to see if I am satisfied with the products I bought after owning them for a year. In my case that would be for eight or nine years if we go back to the beginning. I'm loyal for good reason.
I am happy to report that everything I've gotten from etrailer has been exactly what I hoped for, or even a bit better. I had already store shopped for everything and etrailer beat all the store prices. In the cases where the store brands were not the same as etrailer's, the quality I got was better than the store brand. The tire deals are fantastic! I put four good class D's on my trailer for a lot less than Wal-Mart's class C maypops - even after paying for mounting and balancing locally.

- Distance Between the Mounting Brackets on the Lend-a Hand Folding Grab HandleI went out into our warehouse and measured the distance between the mounting brackets and found the distance to be 19-1/4 inches. Check out the video and picture I attached to see this measurement. The mounting brackets themselves measure 3-7/8 inches tall. Using nuts, bolts and washers to install the # AM-200 would work very well as an installation procedure.

- How to Tighten Up a Loose Lend-a-Hand RV Handle # AM-200If the black base to the Lend-a-Hand Folding Grab Handle for RVs # AM-200 is loose it sounds like you will need to tighten the two screws that attach the handrail to your trailer. The screws will be phillips head screws and with a phillips screwdriver you should have no problem tightening up the # AM-200. Check out the picture I attached to see where the screw holes are.
