Determining the Bolt Pattern
The first number in the bolt pattern is the number of bolt holes. The second number denotes the diameter, in inches, of the circle on which the bolt holes sit.
To determine the bolt-circle diameter on wheels with an odd number of bolt holes, measure from the center of any bolt hole to the point halfway between the two bolt holes directly across from the first. (Example: "5 on 4-1/2" means 5 bolt holes with 4-1/2" measured to a point halfway between the opposite bolt holes.)
On wheels with an even number of bolt holes, measure from the center of one bolt hole to the center of the hole directly across from it. (Example: "8 on 6-1/2" means 8 bolt holes with 6-1/2" from the center of one hole to the center of another on the opposite side.)
Measuring the distance (D) from the center of one bolt hole on the wheel to the center of a bolt hole right next to it can also help to determine the bolt pattern.
- If D = 2-5/8", then the bolt pattern is 5 on 4-1/2"
- If D = 2-3/4", then the bolt pattern is 5 on 4-3/4"
- If D = 3", then the bolt pattern is 5 on 5"
- If D = 3-1/4", then the bolt pattern is 5 on 5-1/2"

Wheels arrived with all 5 of them damaged. Hundreds of spots scratches, dings and scraped off paint. This would have been 100% preventable had they been packaged better. They were shipped in two boxes. 3 in one box, 2 in another. Second ups guy grabbed box to take off truck you could hear them clanking around from poor packaging. I opened the boxes to find a very disappointing site. Could not believe how there was practically nothing used to protect each wheel. They should be completely wrapped in bubble wrap. Instead, a piece of thin brown paper tossed in there. They also use a carboard retainer stapled in. They break right off then the ridgid staples that stick thru do even more damage to the wheels. Two wheels at least had a plastic bag over them but still nowhere near enough to prevent damage.
After reading reviews I see this is a common theme. Many others report same problems. Clearly nothing has been done to improve the packaging process yet.
This is a problem. Especially when this is a core part of your business. It is not like etrailer is new to this and made a 1 time mistake. When you have others reporting issues over months and years of same shipping damage and you do nothing to resolve this to prevent the damage from ever happening then this is very concerning.
I have little faith a replacement order will be packaged well enough to arrive in good shape.
This is 100% on etrailer and not the shippers fault. You have to protect each wheel much better then you currently do for shipment. Extra pieces of cardboard on each side of the box. Bubble wrap around each wheel. Styrofoam. Etc. This is completely unacceptable. Revise your process asap!

When I received the tire and wheel, I placed the wheel only on the trailer drum just to make sure that it fit. I then had a local tire shop mount and balance the tire. I purchased both to be used as a spare for a California Sidecar Escapade trailer and it has never touched the ground. I laid the spare in the spare tire well of the trailer and that is where it has stayed. The wheel still looks great. If you're wanting a great looking set of wheels for a trailer, then this style will definitely fit the bill.

I was not compensated for this review, and am a regular etrailer customer. I opted for this wheel/tire combo as a refresh on my travel trailer because I wanted something that wouldn't rust. Plus, I wanted something that looked nicer than the plain ol' steel white rim. The specs of this combo were an exact match (lug pattern, pilot hole size, tire/rim size and the load range I wanted). Each rim/tire was shipped in its own heavy duty cardboard box.
Pros: Love the look. Weight is less than the steel rims they replaced. Very well made - no flaws in the finish, and the tires appear to be top of the line. My center caps (not included) fit perfectly into the pilot hole. My old tires were Load Range 'C', and as soon as I lowered the trailer onto these Load Range 'D' tires, I could tell a major difference in how much less the trailer was moving/swaying as I moved around. Very happy with that!
Cons: Really none.
Thoughts to share on my experience mounting the tires: One minor annoyance... There's a sticker on each rim that says; Use Soap & Water only - don't use harsh chemicals to clean or it may discolor the finish. Well, the stickers have permanent stick glue instead of an easy release adhesive like those yellow sticky notes. I had to use chemicals to get the glue off, and DON'T EVEN THINK OF USING A SCRAPER or you'll scratch the finish. Take your time - soak a rag with Goo remover and place the rag on top of the sticker to let it sink in. Then use your fingernail to scrape it off. Repeat process until glue is gone, then follow up with a little soapy water to get the chemicals off.
** Maybe etrailer can switch to using a sticky note that won't leave any residue behind.
Final thoughts: I would definitely buy this combo again, absolutely no regrets. Worth the money, and the delivery time was as described. Thanks etrailer!!

The best looking trailer rims for my snowmobile trailer. So far very happy. I had some type of vacuum Powdercoating proces done and not sure of the name of it. Its used on automotive and you can get black chrome or bright chrome. It does not rust and has a five year warranty against any kind of flake. I had this done on my truck rims also and they’re five years old and spotless still.

The product appears well made as the tire is radial and the wheels are an aluminum alloy. I am sure both the tires and the wheels will perform well for years to come. Sadly and unfortunately I feel compelled to rate the product as only a 1 star because of a silly issue: Both the tires and the wheels have stickers on them that are very hard to remove. The tire stickers are glued on and can be rubbed off using GOO GONE solvent. But the glue remains as a reddish mess that takes a fair amount of elbow grease to get rid of. The worse part of the situation is the sticker on the wheel. It says to use water and soap to wash the wheels, as the wheels finish might get damaged by hearsh chemicals. Problem is, how do you get rid of that sticker ? I tried to use water and soap to no avail, then I used a plastic spatula and GOO GONE. It took for ever but finally dissolved the sticker and the glue. But now the finish is scratched and damaged where the sticker used to be. I suggest the manufacturer uses a tag or any other way to inform the buyer. Those stickers are evil !

Delivered the wrong wheels. I ordered Aluminum Polished I received Aluminum with Black trim. Your ordering process still allows for human error. All your steps failed after processing my order, from gathering the items, packaging for shipment, though releasing the packages for shipping.
WHAT GET'S CHECK, GET'S CHECK. This might sound silly to you, it did to me when I first heard it but it works.

ORDERED A NEW MOTORCYCLE TRAILER. REQUESTED A MATCHING SPARE WHEEL & TIRE BUT, THE MANUFACTURER SAID THAT DUE TO COVID THEY WERE HAVING TROUBLE GETTING THEM AND SUGGESTED I TRY ANOTHER SUPPLIER. ETRAILER HAD THE EXACT WHEEL & TIRE ASSEMBLY I NEEDED. I HAD AN ISSUE WITH LATE SHIPPING BUT, etrailer RESOLVED IT.
