I ordered this tire/wheel assembly for use as a second spare for my triple axle toy hauler. When I received it, I checked the date stamp which indicated the tire was already 3 1/2 years old.

I contacted E-Trailer's customer service via e-mail and received a quick response form Caleb H who apologized for shipping a tire of that age. He immediately shipped a replacement and arranged for a R/A and pre-paid return label for the old tire/wheel.

I received the replacement tire/wheel assembly today and it has a date stamp of mid 2016 which is very good in my opinion. I shopped around before ordering and found E-Trailer's pricing far better and with FAST free shipping, it's a win-win for me.

235/80/16 on a 10k fithwheel. Tires and wheels showed up quick and in good condition. They required a lot of weight to balance, up to 10oz on two of them. I have made 1 hundred mile trip on them and they performed well. As long as they don't have any premature failures I will be happy. 565825

If you're on the fence, just buy them! I got these to replace the bias 4.80-12 tires that came with the trailer. These are light years better. They have a modern automotive style tread, plus they are M speed (81MPH) rated! The gloss black wheels look cool too. They have a much wider and flatter contact pattern with the ground, and while slightly larger diameter, they fit the stock 12" wheel fender perfectly. I've got a lot more peace of mind towing my utility trailer at highway speeds now.1023546

We bought a Popup camper trailer and I have never towed anything before. I had to do an alarming amount of learning about different tires and brands, and let me tell you how hard it is not to find a china bomb on a 12' rim for something your family will be riding in or towing.



My experience with buying from etrailer was superb. I was notified when Items would be in stock. The original tires I had selected were on backorder for 8 months, so these were my second choice. They were supposed to be on back order for a couple weeks, but came in stock and arrived at my house almost a full week before promised.



I have mounted the tires but haven't road tested them yet. I am very excited, to try them out. I had some old LR C tires that were not M rated, I wanted to get a little extra wiggle room on my trailer, but have no plans on pushing the envelope on them. I am already much happier with the footprint of these over the previous trailer tires, and I am very sure they will ride smooth.



Theses were ordered in December of 2021 and the manufacture code was from august of 2021, so they are still fresh from the factory. I included a side by side of my old tire and the new one. I also ordered parts to do an “axle flip” because dexter doesn’t make a kit for the 1 ¾ inch axle. etrailer already had the parts on their FAQ page listed that you could order from them and it was half the price of a dexter kit. I just have to buy a case of Dr. Pepper for my nephew to weld the new spring seat on the axle for me.

The tire and wheel assemblies look good. I haven’t pulled the trailer yet so this isn’t an in-use review. I couldn’t give them 5 stars because one of the assemblies needed 4 1/2 ounces of wheel weights to balance. To those of you that would argue they don’t require balancing I say this...if it rotates, if it spins it needs to be balanced! Great prices, excellent shipping services. You can’t go wrong.782050

Have 6000 miles on these tires now and they are wearing and riding well. I tow at 70 MPH so I balanced the tire and wheel assemblies when new.

I ordered these to place on my boat trailer. I used them on my 2012 Trailstar trailer which carries my Tracker bass boat. It had load range C tires. I wanted to upgrade my tires and this item was exactly what I wanted. These fit perfectly. The tires were “fresh”....meaning that they were made only a months ago. The finish on the rims was much better than I was expecting. The welds on the back side of the rims looks to me to be quality work. 777173

I received the order on time. The tires were not damaged. I took the tires to get them balanced and things balanced out well. The tires were as described. My first impression was that the tread wasn’t very deep. The old tires I removed had deeper tread. The old tires were light truck tires and the new tires were trailer tires so that may explain why there is a difference. The trailer has been on a couple trips and we haven’t had any problems yet. I put them on my fifth wheel and it is around 12k dry and loaded around 14k. From what I can tell, these are an affordable replacement if you have old tires and rims and need a replacement. 809811

So far I’m happy with etrailer. Ordered wheel and tires beginning of may and they didn’t have all of them in stock so after waiting till last Monday I rechecked to see what they had and they had these in stock. Changed my order last Monday which was a holiday and still received them on Friday same week. So far trailer pulls great but will know better when I get a good 5-6 tons on them to really know for sure.1057499

I purchased Loadstar 5.30 12 Bias Trailer Tire 5 on 4 1/2 Load Range C . I failed to notice that it was a Bias Ply which only has a Load Range C at 65 mph. I got back with etrailer for a refund and replace them with a 175 13 Radial that has a Load Range D at 81 mph . It was a hassle free Exchange. Of course they deducted shipping on my refund. Make sure that's the item you want it will save you on shipping cost on your return. Overall I'm very happy with the Tires and rims and they fit perfectly. Very good customer service. The tires are perfect on my trailer. Hardly ever lose air and so trilled to have good rubber when I go across town. Really easy process on buying tires with a rim. No waiting at store installer and helped me learn to change my own tire. I tell people even lately about this business and how wonderful the experience has been. I used to have a raggedy $150.00 yard trailer someone built and neighbors would borrow until last neighbor called and told me he arrived with only the hitch clasp. Bought me a good trailer later and updated the wheels and tires and don’t worry about accidents so much when pulling a load. Fine looking name brand tire on a pristine white wheel with a blue and a red pin stripe, that's a very nice touch. I purchased this for a spare on my camp trailer. You should always have a spare, spares are good, spares comforting, spares are smart -be smart. If you have a spare already, go check it out and make sure it is still serviceable, dead tires can look ok at a glance so make sure it is young and vibrant and up to the 70mph task when needed.
