What I need for a ramp for someone who can't climb the camper steps
installed this stair rail on my 2020 Forest River Artic 5th wheeler, my step unit is a rigid 4 step and I modified the installation to my rig. Works great, i was very lucky to make it work.
Took about 3 hours to install, mainly because you have to drill holes through steps and locate them in an area that isn't blocked by step arms. The 3 hours included a lot of back and forth, getting the right tools and I installed the rails on both sides of my trailer steps. When attached, they are very sturdy. They are easy to remove and store. Thought I would have a problem on door side, but found that I can open the door and then set that rail in place. I can pull it out and set aside if I want door closed. Brackets are on permanent and do not get in the way, when walking around trailer exterior.
Purchased the railing before hubby's hip surgery as a safety feature. The railing installed easily and provided the strong support he needed to safely get in and out of the trailer. Now, after a year, we wouldn't be without it. We're both physically fit, yet we all know how funky travel trailer steps can be and this provides excellent balance control. It installs easily in its bracket and is also a handy place to hang a wet towel or socks when the need arises. We highly recommend this well made product.

I received this product and it was exactly as directed. Was very easy to install. My wife had leg surgery has not been able to get into the camper now she can get in and we are going to be able to get back to campground host which we love to do for the state. Thank you
After I got every thing installed My wife was vary satisfied with the completed project.
The only problem I had was drilling the holes for the bracket mount my tire is about 10 inches from my step all my drills with a bit was about 11 inches but I got the job done.
Has made getting in and out of the camper so much easier
I added the hand rail for my wife she had a stroke two years ago the hand rail is a great help
I think when warm weather gets here. I will put the parts on my trail. Then you may ask me the same question. This includes the steps too!
