Bearing and seal kit are a great quality purchase, they fit perfectly and have been running trouble free for a year now. Will definitely use this kit again when it is time to replace the bearings in my utility trailer or boat trailer.
I recommend using the Buddy Bearing grease hub with this Bearing & Seal pack.

This product has proven I made the best choice to keep my utility trailer rolling trouble free.

This kit was ordered as a spare along with the tools for an emergency situation - which did occur! Thanks to the TEAM at etrailer I had what I needed and was back on the road (slight delay) and on to my ATV destination.

by:

The parts were shipped quickly and packaged well. There were no instructions included with the package and when I assembled all of the parts I did not realize that the inner and outer bearing races were already pressed into place in the hub that I bought. I attempted to install the bearings in the new wheel hub and when I went to put it on the trailer it would not fit. I kept thinking I was doing something wrong and ended up ruining two grease seals before I figured out that the bearing race was already pressed into place and was not needed. That is entirely my error ( I am not a mechanic…) but it would’ve been nice if it was indicated somehow that the bearing race is already installed in the hubs I bought from etrailer and that the ones that shipped with the hub package are extras for another application.

by:

I needed a bearing kit for my trailer. Kaleigh instructed me as to the information she needed. I was able to give her part numbers and partial part numbers from the bearings and grease seal and Kaleigh was able to assemble the kit. Fit perfectly.

by:

I am not happy with the way things were shipped. I haven’t opened anything because I want to share with you how damaged the box is. I am assuming the box was opened and the rest of my order was put inside of the mirror extension box. So now I need to see if everything is still in the box and to see what is damaged. Because the employee/company took a cheap short cut of not packaging my order in a shipping box this is what your company portrays to your customers. Not happy at all.

Etrailers was easy to do business with. Parts were accurately described, fairly priced, and easy to order. Now my boat trailer is ready for the road.

by:

Replaced the old electric brakes on my 1984 Gore Trailer and these fit perfect. The bearings and oil seal included in Part BK2-100 we’re also a perfect match!

by:

This kit went on great on my 2003 Shoreland’r single axle with disc brakes. My brakes were completely inoperable so there was a huge difference on the post-project test ride. I had to replumb my hard brake lines on the axle and I needed to make some pretty sharp bends to dodge the springs.

by:

Good quality bearings used as spare to the new hubs I just purchased. Hopefuly won't need these guys for a while, but good to know they have me covered.

by:

Questions about correct parts were answered promptly and allowed me to purchase the right bearing kit. Received kit with all contents. Bearings have a lower quality feel than the originals. We’ll see how they hold up. Waiting to install.

by:

When I started looking for the parts to fix my trailer I gave etrailer a call and the folks there were very helpful. They were very knowledgeable and new exactly what I needed to get me up and running again. I would definitely recommend them for all your trailer needs.

by:

After ready so many good reviews my expectations of etrailer were high and was sadly dissappointed when my trailer bearing replacement kit showed up 3 days late and with all the pieces loose in small bubble wrap envelope. I expected better packaging for something so crucial that Im relying on. And the parts were all thrown together carelessly. Will be closely inspecting everthing and hoping for no damage. Will be returning if there is! Dissappointed...

by:

Purchased travel trailer wheel bearings and seals
For 10k overhaul. Easier and cheaper to repack and replace vs. cleaning and repacking. Seals will be destroyed anyway while repacking

by:

Excellent ordering, delivery, and follow up experience. I highly recommend e-trailer. Kind Regards, Richard R., Ocala, FL.

by:

Inner bearing races are the wrong outside diameter. The bearing on the right is the one that came out of the trailer, the one on the left is the one that came in the bearing kit. The new one was too big to seat in the wheel, despite being the same part number. I bought one locally (same part number), and it went in perfectly. Disappointed that I waited almost 2 weeks to get these kits, and was unable to use the races.

I bought these as spares for my Eagle Ultra Utility trailer. They appear to be exact matches to the existing set. I was very pleased with the price for the complete kit. E-trailer got them to me fast along with my other items. I will keep the bearings with me on the road for peace of mind.

by:

Bearings have been doing well. Completed my annual re-grease and no particular wear evident having completed > 8000 miles towing @ 6000 lbs (dual axle) across the country and the various roads conditions.

by:

I would like to report that the person that helped me Sunny C. was very pleasant
and most helpful. my parts arrived sooner than expected. seems to me etrailer will be my go to for parts.

by:

Order arrived promptly as described. Thanks Etrailer

Received parts today. All were correct as ordered. Look forward to easy installation

by:

Perfect replacement for my 20 year old bearings. The hardest part was getting the old races out but the video from etrailer made that easier. I purchased the installation tool so replacing the races was easy, I highly recommend getting the installation tool.

It is a year later and absolutely no problems from the bearings and seals on my utility trailer rebuild. I have put a lot of miles on them since Hurricane Michael hauling equipment and debris. Thats all you can ask from good bearings and seals.

by:

I ordered bearings twice this month and the second order took twice as long I don't know why could you give me a reason thank you

by:

packaged with parts together, fit well on the axle, came in a timely way as expressed by etrailer, have used this kit in the past, would recommend others to experience these kits, very satisfied with etrailer and staff

by:

Came in perfect, on time and it fit great. Thanks trailer.

by:

Well, I had ordered the premium bearing kits for my trailer axle, and the bearings are stamped “china”.
I was wanting to replace the china bearings that came in my axle, because my previous axle had china bearings in them and they burned up within the first year I had the axle on my trailer. My first axle with USA made bearings had lasted 20 years with my maintenance checks on them
The china bearings don’t even seem to last a year and have left me stranded , needing a new axle because the race melted to the axle hub.
I thought the “premium” bearings I ordered through here would’ve been stamped with USA . I’m hesitant to put them on my trailer

  • Replacement Bearing Kit Recommendation for Viking Popup Trailer with Dexter EZ Lube Spindles
Can you get me the diameter of the axle or the capacity if you can find it? Most likely it's a 2k axle and the kit part # BK1-100 would be the correct kit to use but I'd need to verify that for sure. The correct diameter axle for a 2k axle would be 1-3/4 inch.

If it uses 2,000-2,200 lb axles then you'll need the Bearing Kit part # BK1-100 but if it uses 3,500 lb axles then you'll need the Bearing Kit part # BK2-100. Since you are looking for a spare set you most likely don't want to destroy a grease seal so that you can get to them so you do have another option. I ran through our selection of grease seals, and wasn't able to find anything that matched your measurements closely enough that I'd be comfortable recommending it. Unfortunately, the numbers you kindly provided didn't lead me to a replacement seal (yet).
