This Blaylock EZ Lock is designed to work with Bulldog Collar-Lok couplers that fit 1-7/8", 2", or 2-5/16" hitch balls. After it has been secured, this coupler lock renders your trailer's coupler inoperable, ensuring peace of mind.
With the slanted side of the lock pointing toward the front of the coupler, simply place the coupler lock's raised ball up under the coupler and into the coupler's ball hole. The sides of the lock will surround the coupler. Slide the 3/4" diameter pin through the holes in the lock and secure the pin in place with the included Master Lock padlock.

I would like to see the pin made of hardened steel. May get a machinist to fab one up out of a harder Rockwell rating.
Painted it Orange and it contrasts very well to the black trailer frame.
This is a visual que for those passing by the county road, that the coupling has 'something' on it.
The Master lock appears to be of a higher quality the the same design but sold for storage unit use. It may be made by Master but have no way of knowing. The lock operates very smoothly and the stainless body is perfect for outdoor application.

Y-Lee K - 06/25/2018We have several trailers we use to haul equipment to job sites and have to leave them at site over night so these locks are very sturdy which gives us security from theft and was able to get all locks keyed alike so one key works on all trailers which is convenient.
The product is well designed and I'm sure would work on many/most couplers. However I have an Equal-i-zer 4-point weight distribution hitch with sway control, and the EZ Lock simply won't fit. The Equalizer is too large and the EZ Lock wasn't designed to give enough clearance to get on there. So I wasted my money.
Buy this if you have another configuration, but be forewarned if you have what I have and avoid this product.
Sierra K - 07/30/2021The fit is perfect for the bulldog coupler. It should keep unwanted thieves away, I feel safer about leaving my trailer unattended
It was too lose and fell off.
I had to put a sleeve around the pin to take up the slack. I have 3 different trailers and it was the same thing.
After the alterations it works good.
Sierra K - 10/26/2021It is a very good lock for a standard ball trailer. Lock has a reasonable quality Master short shackle key lock with 2 keys.
Very easy to use
I recommend you routinely (every 3-6 months) lubricate the lock with graphite or WD-40 to prevent the lock and shackle from binding.
I highly recommend This lock, along with the offered MasterLock padlock to anyone wanting to secure a trailer with a Bulldog hitch. I am very pleased with the quality & workmanship of this product to help secure my Horse Trailer hitch.

The purchase of this product was a terrible idea. Its made of cheap aluminum, that flexes and bends.
The key for the lock snapped off in the lock, full disclosure, I dont know why, could have been my fault, but it broke pretty easily.....
This lock is a mild deterrent at best, I wouldn't trust it on a trailer worth anything more than the lock is worth.
Great product, perfect fit for my bulldog hitch. Everyone that sees it comments about what a strong lock it is. It is easy to use and just its looks is a huge deterrent.
It is easy to put on and take off. I am glad I found EZ Lock Trailer Coupler Lock for Bulldog Collar-Lok Couplers. I would definitely buy it again!

After a lot of research I decided on the Bulldog Coupler lock because I really liked the design and materials that it was made of.
Just received this today. It’s extremely sturdy and getting a bolt cutter anywhere on this hitch lock looks impossible. I’m so far very impressed

I done some research about this and similar products and found this product to be the best bank for the buck. made to fit my Bulldog hitch. It is used by folks that sell trailers, I thought that was good enough for me...
ordered one with the master lock from e_trailer received in in just a few days as stated as for pricing ...you won't be it by much if any!
LaVoyd i - 11/13/2015What's to say? It's a big 'ol chunk of metal that protects from thievery. I had to do a touch of grinding on the trailer tongue flange to allow the mechanism to fully clear. No biggie. Good value for the protection you get. If someone really wants your trailer, this could be defeated, but for general protection it works great.

The trailer coupler lock worked exactly as expected. I couldn't ask for more.

I am very pleased with the tongue lock. I use it on my boat trailer which I often leave in a Marina for several days at a time while the boat is in a slip. I tend to think of it like all deterrents, another layer of security to overcome which will encourage movement towards an unlocked trailer hitch. It works well, seems sturdy and accomplishes the purpose.
I had seen some negative reviews for etrailer and actually hesitated to place an order, but they had exactly what I wanted and their prices were better than anyone else.
So I placed an order..... The customer rep was excellent and very helpful.
My order arrived in 2 days exactly as I ordered.
