Today we're going to review the Replacement Screen for Ventline, Ventadome Trailer Roof Vents, part number BVD0434-31. We're working with the birch white color today. This is also available in polar white as part number BVD0434-41. With this part number, this is what you get, an entire replacement screen with the plastic frame around it, already bonded to it. It also has an opening here for your panel for your opener for the vented cell. This doesn't require any fasteners to install, it uses the holes in here to work with the snaps that are pre-installed on your vent.
This is a metal screen, not a cloth screen, so this should last a very long time. Let's go ahead and cover installing it. Pretty simple, you may not have to remove the knob here, but I'm just going to do that to get it out of our way. Then we just need to pop off the screen. It may help to use a small screwdriver in the little tabs here, push them back so you can pull up on it. You may or may not have to do that.
I think since this is a relatively new installation we're working with, an older one is probably a little bit stiffer. Just be careful if you give a general push with a screwdriver. We'll take our new one, we'll just line up the tabs to the slots and just push it all together, pretty simple. Then you go ahead and reinstall your knob. Within a few moments, your vent is completely repaired and back in service. That will finish it for part number BVD0434-31, the Replacement Screen for Ventline Ventadome Trailer Roof Vents..

Screen keeps out debris and insects when the vent is open.Great screen, but I thought I was also getting the frame. My bad, I had the both items in my cart and deleted the wrong one, I deleted the BVC0573-31 instead of the BVD0434-41. My existing frame has a few broken tabs that allow the screen to droop down, guess I can tape it up. Anyway, not your fault. Thing is, the frame w/screen was cheaper than just ordering the screen.
