Today we're going to be taking a look at the Ventline Replacement Dome Assembly in white, part number BVD0449-A01. It's also available in smoke, part number BVD0449-A03. This is going to be a direct replacement for the lid on your model number V2092, V2094, V2119 and V2128, Ventadome Roof Vents. It has the same web shape and it's made out of the same polypropylene material. Over time your lid may crack, break or fade. We're going to show you how to replace it. Now of course this will be in your RV, but for demonstration purposes, we're going to show you right here.
We'll flip it over and this will be as if we we're looking up. First thing we want to do is go ahead and remove the screen. We've got these little tabs surrounding it. We can actually just push those out and begin taking it off. All you're going to need for this job is a Phillips-Head screwdriver. Let's go ahead and take off the knob.
Once we get that screw loose, we can actually just pull up on the knob just like that and set it aside. For our tray here, we just need to push in on each side inward. We've got some teeth that we need to get around, but then it should just pop right on out. You can see the two teeth here. Then we've got our switch. If you'd like you can disconnect it, we're going to leave ours attached.
The other two wires here will be connected to your power in your RV. Then we can grab our Phillips-Head screwdriver again and we're going to remove our arm assembly. Now we'll need to take these screws all the way out. With those loose, it's going to allow us to remove our arm from our lid. We can just slide it off like so and just kind of leave it set there. Then it's going to allow us to remove our lid from our vent assembly. Now this portion will be on top of your RV.
You can actually lift up on the non hinged end of the lid all the way up and then take it off. We can grab our new one. We'll locate the hinge side, go ahead and turn it over, line it up and then turn it over like so. Now we can go back inside of our RV. Back here on the inside we can reconnect our arm assembly. We'll just need to slide this on to the portion right here just like that and then position it over our holes. I've gone ahead and reinstalled my other components. Let's go ahead and test it out. I'd say it's working pretty good. That's going to complete our look at the Ventline Replacement Dome Assembly.

Replaces the white, wedge-shaped, polypropylene plastic cover on your Ventline Ventadome RV roof vent.11/04/2022: We survived hurricane IAN in Florida, but not without some damage. Along with a number of other things, two vent lids on the RV were ripped apart and destroyed. I ordered replacements from etrailer They were the exact replacement and fit perfectly. Our eighteen year old grandson climbed on top of the RV and made the replacement for me. We watched the video on the web site first. It was easy, with one exception. As mentioned by other reviewers, there is a clip on the hinge that must be removed for the installation. FYI, this isn’t mentioned in the video. The grandson went up with a pair of pliers to address the clip, but that doesn’t work very well, a flat tip screw driver worked easier. Once the clip was out, the replacement was a snap - exactly as the video showed. Here are a couple of pics from the interior as he was doing the work, and a final photo of the finish.
The original dome vent on our camper had dry rotted (I accidentally poked a hole in it just by touching it). The replacement had clear instructions and installed without issues.
Good price. Works as promised. Relatively easy installation.
I needed to replace my roof vent and this was exactly what I needed. Unfortunately, to take out the inside vent fan/screen assembly it caused the plastic to break as it was very brittle. The round plastic piece that goes over the turn dial to open the vent broke off, so I ended up just leaving the plastic fan inside assembly on and was able to loosen the screws to get the old vent cover off and put on the new vent cover. It works great! Will be ordering the new inside plastic piece that holds the screen and fan soon! I will say that the DIY videos on how to change these parts is VERY helpful. My wife is the one who found the replacement part and then instructed me on how to put it in, which was great!
I watched the install video, and it was very easy to install.
The old cover was discolored and very brittle, the sun is brutal on these components.

the vent cover operates smoothly and I havent noticed any discoloration
A little pricey for a plastic cover but I had to have it as my original was destroyed in a hail storm. The cover was a perfect fit and arrived just in time to put on before our rain event this week.
Installation video helped me know I was ordering the right part. Very helpful!
Same quality and almost identical to the ones I found at Camping World which are Campco ones. These are twice the price though so hard to recommend.
Vent covers are good quality and fit perfectly. The ordering process, customer service, and shipping were all excellent! I will definitely order from etrailer again!
Item arrived on time. Easy to install; the instructions were simple and easy to follow. Quality product.
Exact fit, good quality, easy to install. Would buy again.

I think Stacey is the very best at her job, she listened to what I needed, then helped me get the right part the first time and I couldn’t be more happy with her service, thanks again.

Great. No issues!
"Universal vents" don't always work. I ordered one by mistake from that giant online storehouse—realized I needed this specific model and it was not offered there. Etrailer had what I needed and also had the dome seal (BVD0455-01), which I also needed. Products were exactly as advertised and with the installation videos (also on etrailer) for the EXACT model ordered, installation was simple. Before and after pics included in this review (previous vent was damaged in a recent hail storm).
These products are comparable to the OEM products on my motorhome if not the same. Delivery was a little slow, but otherwise everything was great.
It fit perfectly!!

The vents were exactly what I ordered and fit perfectly!! 1 year later they are still holding up!!
As always etrailer came through once again. Fast shipping easy install. What more could you ask for?
Awesome from order to delivery
Looks like original
Extremely fast delivery !
Thank you
I received the box broken. Cardboard was ripped and bent. The packing inside the box was not good. It was a larger box too big for the lid. There was no cushion or paper to stop it from being tossed around. The good news is that nothing was broken or cracked, maybe lucky, maybe not. I will see when I put it on the motorhome. Hope it's the correct one.
Quick shipping, excellent communications and great product. Exactly what I needed. Thanks. .
I didn’t have time to take a picture but the replacement dome fits perfectly just like the original one thanks etrailer.
Fit great and easy to install.
