Today we're going to be taking a look at the Ventline Replacement Dome Assembly in white, part number BVD0449-A01. It's also available in smoke, part number BVD0449-A03. This is going to be a direct replacement for the lid on your model number V2092, V2094, V2119 and V2128, Ventadome Roof Vents. It has the same web shape and it's made out of the same polypropylene material. Over time your lid may crack, break or fade. We're going to show you how to replace it. Now of course this will be in your RV, but for demonstration purposes, we're going to show you right here.
We'll flip it over and this will be as if we we're looking up. First thing we want to do is go ahead and remove the screen. We've got these little tabs surrounding it. We can actually just push those out and begin taking it off. All you're going to need for this job is a Phillips-Head screwdriver. Let's go ahead and take off the knob.
Once we get that screw loose, we can actually just pull up on the knob just like that and set it aside. For our tray here, we just need to push in on each side inward. We've got some teeth that we need to get around, but then it should just pop right on out. You can see the two teeth here. Then we've got our switch. If you'd like you can disconnect it, we're going to leave ours attached.
The other two wires here will be connected to your power in your RV. Then we can grab our Phillips-Head screwdriver again and we're going to remove our arm assembly. Now we'll need to take these screws all the way out. With those loose, it's going to allow us to remove our arm from our lid. We can just slide it off like so and just kind of leave it set there. Then it's going to allow us to remove our lid from our vent assembly. Now this portion will be on top of your RV.
You can actually lift up on the non hinged end of the lid all the way up and then take it off. We can grab our new one. We'll locate the hinge side, go ahead and turn it over, line it up and then turn it over like so. Now we can go back inside of our RV. Back here on the inside we can reconnect our arm assembly. We'll just need to slide this on to the portion right here just like that and then position it over our holes. I've gone ahead and reinstalled my other components. Let's go ahead and test it out. I'd say it's working pretty good. That's going to complete our look at the Ventline Replacement Dome Assembly.

Replaces the smoke-colored, wedge-shaped, polypropylene plastic cover on your Ventline Ventadome RV roof vent.Replaced brittle oem vent covers. perfect fit and finish.
I had a hail storm take out the domes in my camper. The replacement with etrailers domes was super easy...etrailer even had a video on the replacement procedure. Quick shipping too. Thanks
Exactly what I needed, easy install and now that I know it is correct part I will order another to replace another vent cover, got to appreciate the hail!
Perfect fit! Easy to install and great replacement for my old, weathered covers.
The numbers on the original vent are "AS-13 M-VDO449". The correct item number to order is BVD0449-A03 (for smoke color). There is a note on the etrailer site about this issue for a white cover, but they don't specifically tell you which item number to order for the smoke color. Printed instructions on the new vent were excellent in most respects. But there was nothing about how to remove the safety clip from the outside of the camper. More importantly, reinstalling the clip was the hardest aspect of this replacement. To remove the vent, you must first go inside and remove the black handle, screen, plastic cowling and plastic separator. You must then remove the two screws holding the cranking assembly in order to remove the white plastic slide from the vent.
I was able to remove the clip by slipping a small flat head screwdriver under the top of the metal clip and prying it up carefully to avoid breaking or bending it too far. The new cover is then easily placed under the camper's hinge tabs and lifted into place. You may need to try to install the metal clip first so you can see how it fits together. In the photo the top of the clip is on the right while the left shows the extra tab which goes under the plastic vent. It took me a good 20 minutes to get the metal clip to seat properly over the two metal tabs on the vent frame.
Exact drop-in replacement for my hail-damaged Ventline vent. Very pleased.
Had a hailstorm take out all 4 of my vents on my 5th wheel. I’ve purchased items before from etrailer and all the products have been exceptional. The vents I needed were no longer available. But I was working with a customer service representative named Breanna. And it only took her a couple of minutes to find the correct one which would work for me. She was super friendly, helpful and knowledgeable about the products and took the time to find me the correct ones . My wife and I owned multiple businesses and the exceptional customer service support I received from this young lady was astounding. It was an incredible experience to work with Breanna. One that seems to be far and few between anymore. Your company and Breanna should be commended for their customer support.
Thanks Breanna.
Thank you

This roof cover is very strong and holds up to mild hail storms . Excellent product ??
Ordered two of these and the installation was eazy peasy...parts fit perfect. The only issue I ran into was my ceiling garnish in both vents was dry rotted, so I jumped on the phone with etrailer (Dina Five Stars, I think I got the name correct) and she got me the ceiling garnish replacement parts, awesome!
