This hitch is absolutely awesome. It fit my truck exactly. no problems installing it. I have already used it four or five times in the last week since I have installed it not a problem towing anything. everything looks great! I greatly appreciate the fine product!

Originally purchased another hitch and didn’t look at the lead time. George sent me an email saying it wasn’t in stock and told me I could call to get another one that was in stock. I called and ED was able to hook me up with another one. Awesome customer service and the hitch bolted right up!

Great receiver, built like a tank, finish is awesome, much better than my Reese, on my other truck! I tow every day & this receiver still looks new, will only buy Curt from now on. Delivery was very fast & ordering was a breeze, with etrailer. I also had to call Curt for specific measurements that are not stated on the product info. ( on purpose I think ) & the support at Curt was great!

This hitch is awesome! I still tow every day & once I wash the diesel soot off of it, it still looks perfect! The finish is still top notch & the entire hitch is holding up better than any I’ve ever had before. Will only buy Curt now.

I loved the hitch, it fit perfectly. However, I never received my trailer electrical connector. The box was pretty mangled when it got to me, so I’m pretty sure the connector fell out in transit. Not happy about that. Hopefully I will be able to get a refund, as I had to get one locally and splice it in to make it fit.

Thanks for reaching out! I will have our customer service team reach out to you about this as soon as they can.

2013 Ford Ranger

The hitch is extremely heavy duty and I highly recommend this product. Etrailer has great customer service, I received the hitch a day before the expected arrival date. I installed this on my 1977 Ford F-150 Ranger with the help of my 13 yr old grandson. This receiver hitch fit my truck perfectly, no modifications were needed. We removed the spare tire, drilled the holes and mounted the hitch per the instructions. The entire process took a little over an hour. I use a Shocker Hitch with an airbag, and it fits this hitch perfectly. I highly recommend Etrailer.

This hitch is one of the best ones ive ever bought towed many many cars tractors an equipment with it an never let me down. Id give it 6 stars if i could. Thanks

Ford F-250 Super Duty

This hitch is going on a 1978 Ford F250 4x4. As many know, Ford used two different frame widths on the F series trucks from 1973 to 1979 so I had to figure out which hitch would fit my truck. The product description says "Hitch fits larger 37-1/4" frames" but my frame measured slightly larger than that outside to outside. The inside to inside dimensions were also confusing as mine measured about 34 1/2" which is close to the smaller frame size Ford used so I was not sure if this would be the correct hitch. It turns out that it is correct so if you have a frame that measures 37 1/4" + outside to outside, this should fit your truck too.

I love etrailer. This is the third hitch I have ordered from them and the customer service is always excellent. Their prices are also reasonable and they have a huge selection which makes choosing the best option very easy.

I am installing this myself (no help) so I used an adjustable shop stool under the receiver and two C-clamps to secure the hitch to the frame so that I could get everything positioned properly. The quality of the hitch is excellent and everything lined up perfectly. I like the fact that this hitch is 100% welded. It is well built and has a far higher rating than my current towing capacity so I expect it will give trouble-free service.

One note on the hardware. Curt provides grade 8 nuts and carriage bolts which is appropriate. However, when I was getting everything sorted out, I noticed that it was difficult to thread the nuts onto the bolts. Rather than struggle with that during installation, I took the hardware over to the bench and ran the nuts onto the carriage bolts in the vice. That small step made it super easy to start the threads doing the actual installation.

Overall very happy with this and always extremely happy with etrailer!

1997 Ford F-250 and F-350 Heavy Duty

Very happy with the product. Was able to install by myself in a little over an hour, fit like a glove and has performed flawlessly with the loads of firewood I've been hauling. Shipping was fast, and the overall experience with etrailer was absolutely fantastic. Etrailer was one of the only websites that had an accurate description of the frame width/depth dimensions that made ordering the right hitch a breeze. Would recommend Etrailer to anyone in the market for Heavy Duty/Standard Duty Receiver Hitches, and all other trailer needs. Thanks for the great product and will be hauling with this hitch for some time. Have a Blessed day

Drilling out two of the holes to enlarge them was not fun, but it was worth it to have an excellent hitch receiver on our 1996 Dodge Ram 2500.

1991 Ford F-150, F-250, F-350

For the first time in a long time I got top notch service for a quality product. Not a single shortcut or surprise gotchas.

How I wish there were more companies like eTrailer.

Ford F-350 Super Duty

I bought this product with the understanding it may not fit with my 10" drop bumper though it was designed for my application (1995 F350 DRW). Thanks to etrailer who gave detailed measurements in their FAQ section for the C15300, let me measure my truck and figured I could make it work.

It installed fairly straight forward like most hitches and I simply had to adjust the bumper brackets and use 3/8" (.375") x 2" bar stock to make spacer blocks for all the mounting points. It tucked up exactly like I wanted compared to the other options and it fit in place of the step bumper receiver plate I had in place.

I purchased the C15300 because I like the fully welded design and gusseting that leads to its ratings. I am very happy with my purchase and etrailer's product offerings.

1996 Ford F-350 Super Duty

Solid reviews of this hitch are what led to buying. Installed on a 96 F350, fitment was perfect, good instructions and hardware made it an easy install. It's heavy duty on looks great on the truck. Great price and super fast shipping also, happy with this product will review when using it.

Website was simple to use. They were able to supply my hitch for my older Dodge without a problem. Hitch is definitely heavy duty and will suit my Crew Cab Dually well! Received in a quick amount of time! Thank you E trailer!

I installed this hitch on a 1991 Dodge W250. It hangs down lower than it needs to for the factory bumper and required drilling the frame to install the hitch. Drilling the frame and the overall installation went well, however there are existing holes that could've been used had the hitch been designed differently. I do understand this hitch is designed for several applications and in that situation it is difficult to make every vehicle a perfect fit. This hitch is very stout, I like the one piece design and the load rating. I have a 14,000 gvw flatbed that I haul a variety of junk on and this hitch is definitely up for the job. The next time I need a hitch I will definitely consider this one.

Still works great after several thousand miles of hauling heavy junk!
CHARLES B - 06/29/2020

Excellent product. It's super rugged and has allowed me to tow about as much as my truck is capable of. Installation is straightforward, although it does require drilling the frame.

We received the hitch faster than we thought. The box was badly damaged but the hitch was fine. Great quality, I would definitely recommend etrailer.

Still great no problems

1974 Ford F-100, F-150, F-250, F-350

This is a heavy duty hitch. The only problem is it fits the Ford F250s with the 37 inch frame. It will not fit my 1974 F250 Highboy.

1992 Dodge Ram Pickup

Thank you etrailer! I received my hitch right away and the box was in good condition. I installed the hitch and it looks great. I bought this hitch for the increased tongue capacity over my old hitch.

My hitch is still working great. The finish is holding up great also.

1999 Dodge Ram Pickup

Fast delivery. Easy install. Fit my 1999 Dodge Ram 3500 4X4 perfectly. Just had to upside 2 of the 6 mount holes on the truck frame from 1/2" to 9/16" dia.

1993 Dodge Ram Pickup

I put this on our 1993 Dodge dually after I noticed what looked like stress fractures on the old hitch while I was having an exhaust leak repaired. The failure was probably caused by an overloaded dump trailer full of gravel. The price for this Class V hitch from etrailer couldn’t be beat so I bought it. I’ve since pulled serveral large loads with my 3400lb dump trailer, the heaviest being a load of gravel weighing 5.67 tons according to the bill. More than 1000lbs shy of the 16000lb limit and it pulled great, even at over 60 mph. This hitch is heavy and well made. I use a forged ball mount with square tube clamp attached to make the assembly rigid. You’ll be amazed at how much this will quiten all of your towing. I feel like I got a great deal from etrailer on this hitch and wouldn’t hesitate to buy it again if we get another truck.

1996 Ford F-250 and F-350

Third Curt Receiver iv purchased from e-trailer. Directions were perfect and installation was simple. Couldn't be happier!

You want the best for the best value and excellent customer service. Go the curt trailer hitch I purchased is excellent for my application. Thank You

1997 Ford F-250 and F-350 Heavy Duty

Went with 1 star but not necessarily for the hitch but the lack of parts, received box not in good shape. There was no hardware or directions in the. box. Now I have a big piece of metal sitting on the floor and no way to mount it! Had this weekend available now have no idea when I will be able to, trying to figure out how to get hardware, Waiting, waiting, waiting.

I will have our Customer Service team reach out to you.

I do have a possible solution for you, but there are currently no custom fit front mount hitch options for your 1989 Ford F-150. I spoke with a representative of Curt, who told me that Curt hitch # C15300 may require the repositioning of the spare tire on your 1992 Ford F-250, depending on the width of your spare tire and if you have a short bed or long bed. With a short bed, then you will have to reposition or remove the tire, but with a long bed there is a chance you may not have to if the tire is small enough.
